The Hero Creation Classroom of a Reincarnated Ordinary Person: After Reaching My Limit As An Adventurer, I Reluctantly Opened A Classroom In The Countryside To Earn Money For The Future, And My Student Became The Strongest - Episode 82
[Prologue]
“Slow Life? Yeah, right.”
It was the day of Agart’s planned visit.
Even though the king himself was coming, there wasn’t anything particularly different to prepare for. Like any other day, I was teaching Sana in a classroom, giving her a lesson about the countries, places, and general knowledge of this world.
“And that’s how Seiran went through a chaotic period where the landlords had all the power. Eventually, King Ryuga, the current ruler, managed to unify the territories, turning Seiran into a proper nation.”
“I-I didn’t know that…”
“Being from Seiran, I figured you’d already know. Haven’t you learned about its history?”
“I… I’m sorry… My previous teacher never covered that…”
“I see.”
I gave her a small smile and a nod, hoping to show I wasn’t upset.
“Still, Seiran has a lot on its plate. Diplomatic relations with Arcelas the Holy Nation and Cielaira, addressing issues with abandoned territories, dealing with monsters from the Black Lands, and even internal unity—it’s far from perfect. That said, with the Three Great Lords working together, I’d bet complete unification is only a matter of time.”
Seiran was on the rise like never before. When I mentioned this, Sana’s eyes sparkled with pride for her rapidly developing homeland.
“And that’s how Seiran became what it is today. That wraps up this section on its history. Next time, I’ll go over the history of Arcelas the Holy Nation.”
When I first started researching this world’s information, I never imagined it would come in handy like this. With that thought, I glanced out the window—it seemed like a good time to stop for the day.
“Alright, let’s call it here for today. How about ending with a little sword practice to unwind?”
“Yes! I’ve been looking forward to it!”
Even after focusing so long on her lessons, Sana didn’t look the least bit tired. It was obvious that practicing with the sword brought her genuine joy.
We both stood up and headed for the door. As I reached out to open it—
“Ugh… Ah…”
A faint groan caught my attention. I turned around.
Sana, who had been standing beside me, was clutching her chest.
“Sana?”
She dropped to her knees as if she could no longer stand the pain. Her breathing was ragged, and her tightly shut eyes showed just how much she was suffering. This looked far worse than the attack she had during that night in my room.
“Ghh… ah… ngh…”
“Sana! Sana! Damn it… Hang on—I’ll get someone right now!”
“It might be a bit early, but this feels good.”
I heard Sana’s voice, but it didn’t sound like her usual tone at all.
“Huh?”
Did Sana just speak? Before I could confirm, her slender, delicate hand shot toward my waist. It moved so fast that stopping her was impossible.
“!”
Instinctively, my body reacted. My left hand unclasped the sheath from my belt and held it in front of me. That was all I managed to do before the impact hit.
A powerful shock reverberated through my body. It felt like I’d been hit by a speeding train or truck.
Even so, I somehow managed to twist my body to the left in time. Or rather, I barely dodged Sana’s thrust with my own sword’s tip.
The sound of a deafening crash filled the air as I was thrown backward. I felt the wind rush around me, my eyes catching flashes of crimson from the sunset I’d been admiring through the window just moments ago.
“Ugh!”
Pain spread across my back, then my right arm, and finally my left leg. I could feel myself rolling across the ground, and though I was slow to react, I managed to break my fall and absorb some of the impact.
Despite the hits I’d taken, the tingling in my left arm—the one that bore the brunt of Sana’s sword thrust—was far worse.
“What the hell’s going on…”
Using the sheath as a crutch, I forced myself to stand. Without delay, I cast a healing spell on myself and quickly surveyed the situation.
I was outside now, facing the school building. A cloud of dust rose from a gaping hole in its wall. Emerging from that dust, gripping my sword, was Sana.
No. Not Sana. Her usually clear eyes were now bl00d-red, glowing with an unsettling light. A wicked smile twisted her face—one that didn’t belong to her.
“Who the hell are you?”
“Oh? Still alive, are you? A name isn’t something to waste on the soon-to-be-dead, but since I’m in a good mood, I’ll indulge you. I am Ohisashi-sama.”
“Ohi… sashi…?”
The name didn’t ring any bells. I repeated it, but there was no further response. The woman—or whatever she was—seemed to lose interest in me and instead examined her own body with satisfaction.
“Ha-ha-ha-ha! Magnificent! What a perfect vessel! When I distributed my essence before, much of it was lost, and the results were imperfect. But this… this is beyond my expectations! With this power, I can tear those fools apart!”
“I don’t know what’s so funny,” I growled, “but…”
I clenched my fists as rage boiled inside me. The sight of this thing—this abomination—using Sana’s body to grin so grotesquely made my bl00d boil.
“Don’t you dare use her body to make such a disgusting face.”
I spat out the first thing that came to mind. My words cut through her laughter, and her crimson eyes locked onto me.
“First, I’ll test this body by cutting you down—”
“What do you think you’re doing?”
A cold, sharp voice interrupted her. Before I even realized it, something white appeared between us—or rather, right in front of her.
With a metallic clang, my sword flew from her hand, clattering onto the ground. Both the woman and I stood stunned.
The next thing I knew, she was on the ground, writhing.
“Guh… aaagh…”
“Sana, what are you doing? You destroyed the school building. That’s unacceptable.”
The phrase “out of the frying pan, into the fire” crossed my mind. For this woman, the fire came in the form of Eve and Mu—two powerhouses who now stood before her.
“And on top of that, you dared to harm our teacher. Depending on your explanation, there will be no mercy.”
“Y-You… What is this… this power?!”
“Who are you?” Eve, her blade pressed against the woman’s neck, narrowed her eyes as she realized this wasn’t the real Sana. Mu stepped closer, tilting her head curiously.
“Hmm? Not Sana?”
“You insolent worms! Do you know who I am?! I am Ohisashi-sama! A god!”
“Eve, Mu, good job.”
To be honest, judging by the insane strength behind her earlier attack, I thought I’d struggle to deal with her. But with Eve and Mu here, I was saved.
I walked toward them, glaring down at the so-called Ohisashi.
“I don’t care who you think you are. It’s over. Step out of her body and disappear peacefully.”
Though I had a bad feeling about her response, I gave her one last warning. As expected, she clenched her teeth in frustration before erupting into hysterical laughter.
“Ha-ha-ha! What’s this? Are you worried about this girl? It’s useless, utterly useless! I am bound to her now! If you want to kill me, you’ll have to kill her too! Go on—try it if you dare!”
“You bastard…”
I gritted my teeth. As much as I wanted to end her right here, doing so would mean harming Sana.
Frustrated, I turned to Mu.
“…Mu, is there anything you can do?”
Hoping for a miracle, I asked the magical genius. But she averted her gaze and shook her head.
“I don’t know.”
“…I see.”
If “Mu” isn’t working, then I’ll just have to try everything else I know.
I cast every holy and healing spell I could think of on Ohisashi.
I hoped something would work, but…
“It’s useless! Give up already! Are you going to kill this girl, or let me escape? Hahahahaha! Choose! Hurry up and make your choice!”
“Shut up! Just shut your mouth!”
I shouted at Ohisashi, desperately trying everything I could think of.
Even Mu joined in with her magic, but nothing seemed to have any effect.
Sana’s body remained firmly in Ohisashi’s grip.
“Do you see now? Do you understand?! You cannot separate me from this girl! It’s impossible! Absolutely impossible! Kuhahahaha!”
“…You… Just keep barking all you want.”
If that’s the case, I’ll just restrain him and figure out the next step later.
As I solidified this plan in my mind, something white caught my attention.
Eve, who had been silently observing until now, moved closer to Ohisashi.
She stood directly before him, looking down with an expressionless gaze unlike anything I’d seen from her before.
Her cold, emotionless eyes bore into Ohisashi.
“Eve?”
I called out to her.
Click.
A distinct sound, like a switch being flipped, reached my ears.
In an instant, white light emanated from Eve’s body.
She extended her right hand toward Ohisashi, her expression remaining icy and detached.
“Sever and seal.”
Her voice carried no emotion, but her words unleashed a whirlwind of white light that engulfed Ohisashi.
“What…?! What is this?! Stop! Stop it! This body is mine! It belongs to me! Stop it! STOP IT!”
A piercing scream—agonized and desperate—echoed through the air.
Dark mist began to seep out from Sana’s body, gathering beside her.
The mist formed into a grotesque, small creature, its presence deeply unsettling.
Without a sound, the creature darted away at incredible speed.
“Mu!!”
I instinctively called out to Mu, hoping she could chase after it.
If I had my weapon, I might’ve stood a chance, but I didn’t.
Mu could handle it, though… Or so I thought.
“Huh? H-Hey!”
But the next sound I heard was one of confusion from Mu.
Turning around, I saw Eve collapsed on top of her, pinning her down.
“Eve?! Hey, Eve!”
“Mmph!”
Mu squirmed under Eve’s weight, trying to free herself, but to no avail.
I dropped to my knees and shook Eve’s shoulders.
Had something happened to her too? Was she also taken over, just like Sana?
The thought of such a worst-case scenario sent a chill down my spine.
“Nn…”
Eve’s eyebrows twitched slightly before her eyes fluttered open.
Her gaze was familiar—back to the Eve I knew.
“Huh? What… happened to me?”
“Eve… You’re okay. You just collapsed all of a sudden. I was worried.”
“Mu!”
“Ah!”
At Mu’s complaint, Eve quickly scrambled to her feet.
Mu, now free, inhaled deeply and shouted with all her might:
“You’re heavy!”
“Wh-What did you just say, Mu?!”
“It’s the truth!”
“Wha—! How dare you—!”
Watching Eve tremble in indignation, I couldn’t help but think the size difference made it inevitable.
But then I remembered.
“Sana! Sana!”
I rushed over to the other fallen girl, calling out to her.
Turning her over, I saw her chest rising and falling gently.
She was alive.
Relief washed over me as I realized she was simply unconscious.
“…What… What is going on here…?”
The voice drew my attention.
Standing near the hole in the school building, Mr. Agart stared at us with wide eyes, his face filled with worry.
