The Housewife O Made Me Become a Mom (GL) - Chapter 11: Can You Bite Me?
Chapter 11: Can You Bite Me?
Knowing her gland was abnormal, her pheromones surely affected Sister Shu, but Lin Xu’s heart still beat fast, so fast it nearly made her faint.
Warmth surged through her abdomen, and she couldn’t stop gasping, swallowing hard between breaths.
She was so thirsty. The air tasted sweet, the sweetness soaking into her lips and tongue. Unsatisfied, she took another deep breath.
Her marking teeth stirred between her jaws. Lin Xu ground her teeth, her gaze locking onto the fragile beauty by the bed.
Heat roared through her body like a tornado. She knew this was their pheromones entangling in a way neither could control.
Lin Xu let out a low gasp, her eyes flashing with thick desire, laced with red veins like after drinking.
The ink-black clouds parted, the autumn night quiet. Moonlight spilled onto Shu Qingyou’s trembling shoulders, pale and smooth as porcelain.
She bit her lip hard.
Even as bl00d filled the air, it was still overpowered by Lin Xu’s unique floral scent.
Like a beast biting its prey, the beast’s breath lingered at the tip of her teeth.
The soft Omega before her was about to be marked. Once her pheromones merged, Shu Qingyou would fully belong to her.
Mark her! Now!
The thought surged in Lin Xu’s mind, startling her.
Alphas could control their heat better than Omegas, especially female Alphas. Being the same gender, they could empathize more.
Lin Xu was sure she’d never liked anyone before. A female Alpha could only mark one person in her lifetime, unless the mark was removed.
She wondered if other Alphas would pounce right away under this kind of temptation.
Perhaps because of the nerve damage in her gland, Lin Xu could still slap herself.
How could you be so shameless!
She cursed herself inwardly.
Shu Qingyou was her savior! Did she really think she was a dog?!
She couldn’t do something so beastly!
Hearing a sound, Shu Qingyou lifted her head slightly, her expression complex, tears glimmering at the corners of her eyes, ready to fall.
The beauty’s face was flushed, radiant and alluring. Lin Xu’s heart slammed against her chest. She pinched her thigh hard.
Taking a deep breath, she made up her mind and knelt before Shu Qingyou.
“Lin Xu, no, you can’t…”
Shu Qingyou was on the verge of breaking down, only hoping the amnesiac Alpha’s conscience remained. She clutched her flushed gland, pleading in confusion.
Her voice was lovely, even in this chaotic state. Lin Xu recalled Shu Qingyou sipping tea that afternoon, holding a clear cup, her eyes gentle.
If that mirror-like porcelain shattered on the floor, it would sound like Shu Qingyou’s voice now—tempting, an Omega’s visual and auditory allure to an Alpha.
“Listen to me, I won’t mark you. We’re both struggling, so, can you bite me first?”
Lin Xu was going mad too. She needed to suppress her surging heat, craving skin-to-skin contact with Shu Qingyou…
What nonsense are you thinking! She bit the back of her hand. With the other, she tore off the useless suppressor patch.
The gland, hard to look at, had swollen to the size of a fingernail, red and glistening with pheromones.
In truth, an Omega biting an Alpha’s gland only eased the heat slightly. It would soon return.
The reverse was true too.
Shu Qingyou hesitated. Was Lin Xu only seeking temporary relief?
Still tense, Lin Xu didn’t wait for a reply.
Like a kitten needing comfort, she pulled down her collar, exposing her pale, flushed neck to Shu Qingyou.
“Don’t be mad at me, and don’t bite yourself until you bleed,” Lin Xu’s throat trembled, “I’ll let you bite me, okay?”
Shu Qingyou froze, realizing Lin Xu wasn’t joking. She sincerely wanted to help, and Lin Xu was struggling too.
An Omega biting an Alpha, unless for fun, wouldn’t suppress much.
Her gland was less than three centimeters from Shu Qingyou’s lips.
Shu Qingyou’s breath grazed Lin Xu’s trembling gland. She stared at Lin Xu, licking her broken, red lips.
Their breaths mingled, indistinguishable, like their pheromones—sweet, crushed desire.
From her gland, Lin Xu felt a tingling electric sensation spread across her neck. Her body shook, her breathing uneven.
She knew Shu Qingyou likely wouldn’t act first.
Unable to bear it, Lin Xu instinctively pressed her legs together, her voice breaking into a sob. She bit her marking teeth, closed her eyes, and leaned her gland forward.
The expected touch didn’t come. Lin Xu fell to the floor.
She looked at Shu Qingyou, who had dodged, and couldn’t hold back. She cried out in confusion.
“Why? Do you just want me to mark you? You’ll regret it, Sister Shu, don’t do something foolish.”
“The suppressant… in the next room, help me…”
Lin Xu stopped crying after two sobs, her mind blank for three seconds.
Then, a greater heat surged to her head, her face hot enough to cook an egg.
Furious, she wanted to curse but chose to stay silent.
Crawling toward the door, she realized she could stand. Ignoring the sticky feeling in her legs, she rushed to the master bedroom.
Turning on the light, the harsh white glow snapped her half-awake.
Shu Rong wondered if she’d just heard the big sister crying, disturbing her TV watching.
In a drawer under the bedside table with a small lamp, Lin Xu found a medicine box with a row of syringes, still within their expiration date.
So Shu Qingyou was looking for this. Lin Xu had foolishly thought she wanted her but was being reserved.
An awkward yet polite smile bloomed on Lin Xu’s face.
Fine, she was generous. No anger, no anger—anger would ruin her skin and hurt her liver.
Lin Xu returned to the secondary bedroom, sulking, but the familiar longing hit her again, her abdomen restless.
Pouting, her recently tearful eyes were now misty again.
“Here, take it. Should I help, or do you want to do it yourself?”
“Why don’t you take it first?”
Shu Qingyou understood an Alpha’s heat-driven desires. Having spent so much time with Lin Xu, she was used to an Alpha who could go into heat anytime, anywhere.
Lin Xu must have used great willpower.
She took the suppressant, a light vial of liquid, and a sense of safety returned.
Clearly, Lin Xu’s dissatisfaction showed on her face. Some things hadn’t changed—her moodiness. Amnesia only hid some major flaws.
Shu Qingyou couldn’t describe her feelings, but at least in this moment, she felt some gratitude toward Lin Xu. She gasped softly, her lips trembling.
“Thank you.”
Wow, Sister Shu smiled at her.
Wait… what was this?
Lin Xu’s pupils shrank, forgetting to breathe normally. Her gland still pulsed faintly.
Shu Qingyou’s soft, delicate fingers rested on Lin Xu’s gland, soothingly rubbing it three times—maybe five, Lin Xu didn’t count.
It felt so good, a sigh escaped her lips.
Lin Xu knelt, squinting, hands on the floor. Shu Qingyou’s right hand gripped the syringe, injecting the drug.
As Shu Qingyou finished, Lin Xu noticed the wonderful sensation on her gland was gone.
A few seconds later, Lin Xu recovered, as if descending from a cloud back to earth.
Still wanting more, she pursed her lips, her peach-blossom eyes watery, begging, “Sister Shu, I want more…”
“I’ll get you a suppressant.”
Though the drug had taken effect, Shu Qingyou’s cheeks were still warm. She regretted her earlier overstep.
Lin Xu’s posture, like a tame animal seeking comfort, had a faint smile.
Now clear-headed, Shu Qingyou warned herself this was the amnesiac Lin Xu, still the same person as before.
Nothing too excessive had happened, which was good. Shu Qingyou left the room with effort.
Shu Rong was cuter. Kids didn’t have heat cycles or messy thoughts, swinging their little legs while watching cartoons.
Shu Rong saw her mom walking tiredly. Cartoons weren’t as important as her mom. She cheered herself on and ran to her side.
“Rongrong, are you scared?”
Worried Shu Rong saw her struggle with Lin Xu, Shu Rong still wore her little jacket, her small hands warm, holding Shu Qingyou’s fingers.
“Want a hug?”
Shu Rong shook her head, pulling her mom forward with all her strength.
Shu Qingyou understood, letting Shu Rong lead her to Lin Xu.
A bit of a mood-killer, Lin Xu lay sprawled on the floor, face up, turning her head.
“You’re all here,” Lin Xu grinned, hooking her finger, “Shu Rong, come help big sister with the shot. Do you like giving shots? Want to try?”
Shu Rong didn’t understand much, but shots terrified her. Her eyes darted, spotting a shiny, sharp needle in her mom’s hand.
Scared, Shu Rong let go of her mom’s hand, clutching her clothes and retreating to the cabinet.
She shouldn’t have stayed with her mom. She was afraid.
Lin Xu grinned mischievously, “Come on, or want to watch your mom give me a shot?”
Talking nonsense, Shu Qingyou glanced between them. Shu Rong covered her eyes in fear, while Lin Xu winked at her.
She’d underestimated Lin Xu’s heartlessness and sighed in relief. Lin Xu tactfully didn’t bring up her earlier, incomprehensible behavior.
“Should I give you the shot?”
“No need, small stuff. Hand it over.”
Lin Xu took the suppressant, handling it easily, as if she’d done it many times before. She injected it quickly.
So fast, Shu Qingyou worried she’d missed the spot. Leaning in, she brushed aside Lin Xu’s curly hair with concern.
The gland had shrunk to the size of a red bean, no longer swollen, lying flat against her skin.
“Hm, no problem.”
Lin Xu quietly lowered her eyes. Sister Shu cared about her. Don’t overthink it—overthinking made her a fool. She subtly moved her head away.
“Suppressor patch?”
The check took a while. Shu Qingyou snapped back, noticing Lin Xu’s ears were red?
She tore open a suppressor patch, holding its edges, gesturing for Lin Xu to lift her neck.
“Raise your neck a bit. I’ll put it on.”
“I can do it myself.”
Shu Qingyou disagreed, “You don’t do it right. You’ve leaked pheromones several times before.”
So that’s how it was. She was being criticized. Lin Xu grumbled inwardly—Shu Qingyou was pretty nice, huh.
“Hmph, fine, but be gentle.”
