The Little Bookworm Marked Her Ex-aunt - Chapter 14: Use It Properly for Me
Chapter 14: Use It Properly for Me
Steam filled the bathroom, accompanied by the smooth sound of flowing water. The mist gathered in groups on the mirror’s surface.
Shu Yue rinsed off the white foam from the body wash on her body. She stepped on non-slip slippers and walked to the mirror. She reached out to take a gray cotton bath towel and carefully wiped the water droplets off her body.
After finishing this, she picked up the glasses on the bathroom counter, put them on, and used a dry tissue to wipe the moisture off the mirror. She looked at the clear figure in the blurred reflection.
Tilting her head to smell, her shoulder gave off a faint white tea scent.
It was the scent of the hotel’s body wash.
Before Ji Shiyi spoke up, Shu Yue never thought about the need to take a bath.
But Ji Shiyi was right. Shu Yue came by subway, arriving during rush hour. Along the way, her body indeed picked up many other people’s scents.
After thoroughly cleaning herself inside and out, Shu Yue checked her body’s scent again.
Clean and fresh.
It met the work requirements.
The only problem was that she didn’t expect to take a bath and didn’t bring a change of clothes. Now that she was clean and fragrant, putting on her old clothes felt inappropriate. Wouldn’t that make the bath pointless? Shu Yue thought for a moment and took out a robe from the bathroom cabinet.
When she picked it up, Shu Yue paused. This bathrobe wasn’t the pure white, thick type she imagined. It was gray-pink. She couldn’t name the fabric, as she never studied it in detail. It just felt smooth, drapey, and breathable.
She put the robe on and stared at the empty neckline. After searching for a while, she found no buttons.
There was only a thin, long tie to secure it.
…?
Shu Yue stood in front of the mirror, struggling through seven or eight ways to tie the robe. Finally, she figured it out, wrapping herself tightly like a burrito.
Standing inside the door, she mentally prepared for a long time before pushing it open.
From a distance, she saw Ji Shiyi sitting on a single chair, legs crossed, with a laptop on her knees. She had just bathed too, her long hair loose and damp, neatly swept to one side, revealing her refined profile.
Hearing the movement, Ji Shiyi turned to look.
Her eyelashes curled upward like a bird’s tail feathers, her pupils light and clear, always carrying a hint of careless arrogance when looking at people.
“Finished bathing?” Ji Shiyi asked.
Shu Yue nodded, standing awkwardly in place.
Ji Shiyi put down the laptop, placed it on the coffee table, closed the screen, and walked to sit on the sofa.
As she stood and moved, Shu Yue noticed Ji Shiyi was different. Her bathrobe was worn loosely and casually, the long, thin tie simply knotted and hanging. Under the gray-blue robe, a pale white lace-trimmed undergarment clung to her skin.
Ji Shiyi seemed to have casually draped a piece of cloud mist from the sky.
She raised her hand and patted the sofa beside her thigh.
“Come here.”
Shu Yue obediently walked over, head lowered, eyes not daring to look up. The black collar around her neck remained in place.
Ji Shiyi chuckled lightly, “I have what you have. What are you shy about?”
Shu Yue’s mind buzzed with noise.
She tried to explain the difference to Ji Shiyi, saying it wasn’t the same. But the atmosphere was too thick, making her unable to say more reasonable words. Honestly, she didn’t know what was different either.
From Ji Shiyi’s words, it seemed she might not like women. Perhaps in Ji Shiyi’s eyes, Shu Yue was just a precise dose of pheromone medicine, regardless of gender, only an alpha.
With this realization, the subtle emotions in Shu Yue’s heart suddenly dissipated.
“Miss Ji, shall we start now?” Shu Yue always worked seriously, even now in a bathrobe.
Ji Shiyi shifted her posture, resting her right elbow on the sofa’s armrest, her hand supporting her chin, looking at her leisurely, “Of course.”
As the words fell, a wave of snowy intent surged overwhelmingly. Though the suite’s windows were tightly closed, Shu Yue suddenly felt a gust of wind from a snowy wilderness sweep in.
She clenched her teeth and turned up the threshold on her control bracelet.
Taking a small step forward, she sat by Ji Shiyi’s reclining legs, her hips only touching the sofa’s edge.
Her expression was serious, as if she were about to conduct a difficult experiment.
Staring at Ji Shiyi for a while, Shu Yue said with difficulty, “Miss Ji, can you turn around a bit? Face away from me slightly. This position is a bit…”
Ji Shiyi raised an eyebrow, “You’re not planning to just bite directly, are you?”
Shu Yue’s thoughts were exposed.
She humbly asked, “Miss Ji, what should I do then?”
Ji Shiyi’s gaze fell on her bracelet, “Don’t block your pheromones so tightly.”
Shu Yue explained, “I’m worried releasing pheromones might affect your condition.”
Ji Shiyi said bluntly, “Shu Yue, I brought you here to affect me.”
“If an alpha marks an omega when they’re not relaxed enough, it causes physical pain and affects the marking’s effectiveness.” Ji Shiyi stared at Shu Yue, “I think neither of us wants today’s efficiency to be low, right?”
Shu Yue nodded in understanding, raised her hand to the bracelet’s control screen, and adjusted the suppression threshold.
Slowly, a distinct scent emerged in the space wrapped in wilderness snow. Carrying a quiet greenness, it appeared silently and began to claim space bit by bit.
Shu Yue released pheromones while observing the woman’s reactions to stop immediately if she seemed uncomfortable.
At first, Ji Shiyi only felt a vine, like ivy or something else, wrapping around her ankle. Gradually, she felt her body enveloped in gentle, faint sunlight, her body warming slightly. Then, the vine grew freely, winding around every inch of her, surrounding and entangling her.
The growing restlessness made her uneasy.
She turned her head, avoiding Shu Yue’s gaze, burying her face in the sofa’s cushion.
Shu Yue’s face quietly reddened.
She noticed Ji Shiyi’s calf unconsciously brushing against her, like Shiyi often did.
The spot touched by the woman felt hotter than when touched by a cat.
She had to muster all her focus to ensure she didn’t respond to the movement, didn’t grab the woman’s ankle, and didn’t let herself sink into an alpha’s instincts to control her.
“Miss Ji, are you okay?” Shu Yue asked.
Ji Shiyi didn’t speak, just suddenly turned slightly, facing the sofa, leaving only her back to Shu Yue. She reached up, gathered her long hair, and revealed her pale, swan-like neck.
It was an invitation, a silent permission.
Shu Yue instinctively licked her canine teeth, now sharp where they were once blunt. She cautiously leaned forward, pulling up Ji Shiyi’s bathrobe, which had slipped due to restlessness, covering her rounded, thin shoulder. Through the silky fabric, Shu Yue’s palm rested lightly.
It was indeed a light touch, with no excessive force, just to support her body for what came next.
Shu Yue stared at the woman’s nape.
She reached out her free left hand, gently touching the center with her index finger.
Ji Shiyi’s body trembled, her shoulders hunching more, the soft sofa cushion wrinkling, her bathrobe tugging along.
“Right,” the woman’s voice sounded water-soaked, “a bit to the right.”
Shu Yue followed her guidance, moving her fingertip to the right. Sure enough, her finger felt a scalding spot, abnormally hot compared to the rest of her skin.
She only pressed lightly.
“Ugh—”
Ji Shiyi’s reaction was so strong that Shu Yue thought she was in pain.
She quickly pulled her hand back, adjusting the bracelet’s control threshold.
But Ji Shiyi’s reaction grew more intense.
She lifted her head from the cushion, her bangs messy, her eyes glistening, her pink lips bearing faint teeth marks.
“Fool,” Ji Shiyi scolded, exasperated.
She raised her palm, pushed the stunned Shu Yue onto the sofa, and stood up, straddling her without hesitation. Her knees pressed against the sofa, pinning Shu Yue’s body, and she grabbed her right hand with the suppression bracelet.
Looking down at Shu Yue, Ji Shiyi’s usually cold face glowed with a spark of fire. Her tone carried unmasked displeasure.
Her fingertip tapped Shu Yue’s bracelet, her eyes frosty.
“Hide what? Since I bought it, use it properly for me.”
