The Movie Queen Confesses to Me on Weibo Everyday - Chapter 29.2
Ruan Xingchen didn’t recognize her now, yet wanted to sleep with her and kept getting handsy?
Lu Qiyue turned to Song Yang and asked, “Was she always like this when drunk before?”
Song Yang nodded. “That’s why in the six years since Sister Chen debuted, Sister Zhang usually doesn’t let her drink.”
“But don’t worry, brother-in-law. Although Sister Chen has no alcohol etiquette when drunk, she generally doesn’t get handsy with men—just women… Sister Zhang and I usually choose to tie her up directly.”
“As long as she’s not given freedom, she can’t cause trouble for anyone.”
Lu Qiyue felt a headache coming on and sighed helplessly. “Let’s get her back to the room first,” she said to Song Yang.
Song Yang quickly moved to help, but before she could get close, Ruan Xingchen waved her away.
“You… not as pretty as her. I don’t want you. I want the pretty sister to help me, hehe.”
Song Yang: “…”
She admitted she wasn’t as good-looking as her brother-in-law, but did she have to say it so bluntly?
Not one to argue with a drunk, Song Yang reached out again—only to have her hand smacked away once more.
“I already said I don’t want your help! Can’t you understand words?” After scolding Song Yang, Ruan Xingchen turned to Lu Qiyue with a silly grin. “Sister, I want kisses. Lots and lots of kisses.”
As Ruan Xingchen leaned in, Lu Qiyue immediately blocked her lips with a hand.
Feeling the touch, Ruan Xingchen froze momentarily—then licked Lu Qiyue’s palm like a puppy.
A shiver ran down Lu Qiyue’s spine, and she withdrew her hand helplessly. “What do we do now?”
Song Yang was equally stumped. Before, at least drunk Sister Chen would let her help, but now she was being guarded against like a thief.
“Maybe… brother-in-law, you could try coaxing her?” Song Yang suggested.
Left with no choice, Lu Qiyue attempted just that.
When Ruan Xingchen again demanded kisses, Lu Qiyue softened her voice and whispered by her ear, “Okay, you’ll get kisses. But let’s go back to the room first, alright? You can have kisses in the room.”
“Okay! Then we’ll kiss in the room! I’ll kiss you forever and ever, till the end of time, till the seas run dry—okay?”
“Okay?” When Lu Qiyue didn’t respond, Ruan Xingchen actually started whining.
Pursing her lips, Lu Qiyue finally nodded under Ruan Xingchen’s expectant gaze.
Song Yang chuckled nearby. Seeing Lu Qiyue struggling to support Ruan Xingchen toward the elevator, she quickly grabbed Ruan Xingchen’s jacket and followed.
The entire way, Ruan Xingchen draped herself over Lu Qiyue. At the room door, Lu Qiyue instinctively headed for the double room—but Ruan Xingchen planted herself stubbornly in front of Song Yang’s current room.
“I… wanna sleep here. This room… good.” Blinking drunkenly at the door, Ruan Xingchen gave Lu Qiyue a pitiful look. “Sister, sleep here with me. This room is super nice.”
“Especially good for sleeping together with sister, hehe.”
Lu Qiyue hesitated. In Ruan Xingchen’s current state… was this room really suitable?
Lu Qiyue wasn’t opposed to being intimate with Ruan Xingchen… but now it was clear Ruan Xingchen didn’t recognize her, mistaking her for someone else.
Under these circumstances, if the two of them were to… Lu Qiyue simply couldn’t get past the mental barrier in her heart.
Noticing Lu Qiyue’s hesitation, Song Yang chimed in, “Brother-in-law, maybe we should just go along with Sister Chen. Once we’re in the room, we can tie her up with rope—that way, she won’t be able to cause any trouble.”
“Brother-in-law, we need to hurry into the room. If Sister Chen starts making a scene later and disturbs the other guests on this floor, it won’t be good,” Song Yang urged.
Hearing this, Lu Qiyue gritted her teeth and reluctantly nodded in agreement.
As Song Yang swiped the keycard to open the door, Ruan Xingchen, utterly pleased, planted a kiss on Lu Qiyue’s cheek and praised, “Sister is so good! I really, really, really like you!”
Lu Qiyue’s lips twitched. Had drinking unlocked some kind of sweet-talk skill in Ah Ruan?
Was she turning into a full-blown smooth-talker?!
With a dark expression, Lu Qiyue helped Ruan Xingchen inside. The moment they stepped into the room, Ruan Xingchen slammed the door shut behind them—mercilessly locking Song Yang outside.
Meeting Lu Qiyue’s stunned gaze, Ruan Xingchen curled her lips into a proud smirk. “Sister, I locked the bad person outside. Am I amazing?”
Lu Qiyue massaged her temples and replied half-heartedly, “Yeah, you’re amazing. Super amazing.”
So amazing that she was now regretting—for who knew how many times—letting Ruan Xingchen drink.
So what was she supposed to do now? Tie Ah Ruan up? Did she even have the strength for that?
But if she didn’t restrain her, would she just let Ah Ruan have her way?
Lu Qiyue had a headache—a splitting one.
“Sister, what’s wrong?” Ruan Xingchen staggered over to Lu Qiyue, cupping her face with drunken eyes blinking repeatedly. “Is it because I’ve been neglecting you?”
“I’m sorry. Here, let me give you a loving kiss.” Before the words even fully left her mouth, Ruan Xingchen pressed her lips against Lu Qiyue’s.
The softness of Lu Qiyue’s lips briefly mesmerized Ruan Xingchen, but she pulled away just as quickly, swaying toward the bed while muttering to herself.
“No, I can’t kiss Sister. I can’t. I have a girlfriend. I have a girlfriend…”
“But my girlfriend doesn’t want me anymore… Wuwu, my girlfriend left me.” Ruan Xingchen collapsed onto the bed, breaking into quiet sobs.
Lu Qiyue froze at her words. Slowly, she walked over and crouched beside Ruan Xingchen, watching as tiny, glistening pearls of tears rolled down her face.
Ruan Xingchen was actually crying?!
Lu Qiyue pressed her lips tightly together, reaching out to wipe the tears from Ruan Xingchen’s eyes. Softly, she asked, “You… just said your girlfriend left you? What’s her name?”
“My girlfriend is Lu Qiyue. She’s so, so beautiful and so, so good to me,” Ruan Xingchen said, her eyes sparkling—but in the next second, they welled up with tears again. “But she’s not my girlfriend anymore. She broke up with me. She got engaged to someone else. Hic. I’m so sad, wuwu. I feel like I’m dying.”
“Wuwu, doesn’t she know she’s my life? Without her, I’m like a walking corpse. I like her, I love her, I miss her so much I can’t sleep night after night. The moment I close my eyes, her face appears in my mind. Every time I try to get close, she disappears on me…”
“Big sister, how can she be so heartless? How could she bear to leave me?”
Ruan Xingchen’s face was streaked with tears, looking utterly disheveled.
Lu Qiyue felt as if her tear ducts had exploded—no matter how many times she wiped them, new tears would immediately cover the freshly dried tracks.
Lu Qiyue’s heart ached terribly, each of Ruan Xingchen’s tears seeming to fall directly onto her heart, scalding her until her whole body trembled.
Gently holding Ruan Xingchen’s face and listening to her murmurs, Lu Qiyue could only repeat “I’m sorry” over and over.
Suddenly, Ruan Xingchen stopped crying. Looking at Lu Qiyue, she asked, “Big sister, do you think she’d be willing if I tried to win her back?”
“She probably wouldn’t. Even though her fiancé isn’t as good-looking as me, she must be satisfied with him to get engaged, right? She definitely wouldn’t want me now.”
“But what if she would? How would I know unless I try?”
“Yes, I have to win her back. Why should I let another man have what’s mine?” Ruan Xingchen struggled to get up from the bed, determined to chase after her girlfriend.
But after several attempts, she found her arms and legs weak, with no strength left in her body.
Ruan Xingchen started crying again.
“Why can’t I get up? Do I have some terminal illness? Am I dying?”
Collapsing back in a starfish position, Ruan Xingchen stared blankly at the ceiling, continuing her drunken ramble, “Actually, dying might be good. Dead people don’t miss anyone. If I died, she’d probably cry, right? We were together after all… Or maybe she wouldn’t, since she has someone new now. Sigh, I should just die—out of sight, out of mind. Hmm… how do people die again…?”
After thinking for a while and giving herself a headache, Ruan Xingchen turned to Lu Qiyue and negotiated, “Big sister, could you help me search Baidu? Look up how many ways there are to die? Find me one that’s easier, less painful…”
Hearing Ruan Xingchen actually asking her to research suicide methods, Lu Qiyue didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
She finally understood—a drunk Ruan Xingchen was indeed quite the handful, especially that nonstop mouth of hers.
She didn’t really need responses; she just needed to pour out everything in her heart.
After the brief amusement came another wave of excruciating pain through Lu Qiyue’s entire being.
This must be how Ruan Xingchen was six years ago, when they first broke up.
So her decision back then had caused such suffering.
Lu Qiyue stroked Ruan Xingchen’s hair and said, “No need to die. You’ve already won her back.”
“I have? Then where is she?” Ruan Xingchen struggled to open her bleary eyes, looking around frantically.
“Right here.” Cupping Ruan Xingchen’s face, Lu Qiyue made sure her gaze focused entirely on herself before gently pressing their lips together.
“Ruan, I’m here. I’m Lu Qiyue, I’m here. Your Yueyue is right here.” With their lips touching, Lu Qiyue repeated these words over and over, as if telling Ruan Xingchen, and also reminding herself.
“My Yueyue is here?” Ruan Xingchen mimicked Lu Qiyue’s actions, cupping her face and examining it repeatedly, as if confirming something.
Lu Qiyue let Ruan Xingchen study her carefully while responding, “Mhm, right in front of you.”
Finally seeming to recognize Lu Qiyue, Ruan Xingchen asked cautiously, “Then… can I kiss you?”
“It’s been so long since I kissed my girlfriend,” Ruan Xingchen said pitifully.
Without speaking, Lu Qiyue simply offered her lips.
Ruan Xingchen kissed her fiercely, then with sudden strength pulled Lu Qiyue onto the bed, embracing her tightly as if wanting to merge their bodies together.
“I’m going to sleep with my girlfriend now.”
Just as Lu Qiyue thought Ruan Xingchen might make another move, steady breathing sounded by her ear.
Ruan Xingchen… had fallen asleep.
Lu Qiyue gazed fondly at Ruan Xingchen’s sleeping face for a long while before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. “Goodnight, my Ruan, the one I love most in this world.”
The next morning, sunlight streamed in.
Ruan Xingchen murmured softly as she awoke, immediately seeing Lu Qiyue beside her.
Observing Lu Qiyue’s peaceful sleeping face, Ruan Xingchen’s lips curved into a smile. Her Yueyue was so beautiful, it made her want to… kiss her.
As this thought crossed her mind, Ruan Xingchen leaned closer. Just as she was about to reach Lu Qiyue’s face, the sleeping woman’s eyelashes fluttered before her eyes opened.
Their gazes met, and Lu Qiyue instinctively asked, “What are you trying to do?”
“Kiss you.” No sooner had Ruan Xingchen spoken than she captured Lu Qiyue’s lips.
Originally she had planned just a chaste peck on the cheek, but now that Yueyue was awake, merely kissing her cheek would never be enough.
Lu Qiyue’s lips were sealed, only managing to mumble, “I… haven’t brushed my teeth yet.”
“That’s fine, neither have I,” Ruan Xingchen replied between breaths.
Only when both their faces were flushed did Ruan Xingchen finally release Lu Qiyue.
Eyes red with restrained desire, Ruan Xingchen sighed, “Yueyue, I really wish you were officially my girlfriend already.”
Then she wouldn’t have to endure this torment.
Lu Qiyue blinked, seeing the hope in Ruan Xingchen’s eyes, and smiled. “Haven’t I already officially become your girlfriend?”
“Officially my girlfriend? Since when?” Ruan Xingchen froze in confusion.
How could she have no memory of this?
