The Movie Queen Wants to Get Back with Her Ex - Chapter 47
Chapter 47: A Complete Mark
Si Shao felt the same—after Yan Xijing said those words to her, the fact that she managed to hold herself back from devouring the woman completely was already her limit. There was no way she could bring herself to say “no.”
Yan Xijing had claimed she wouldn’t go too far, but her actions spoke otherwise. Her movements became increasingly bold as she began to undress Si Shao and herself at the same time.
Si Shao was initially a bit dazed and caught up in the moment. By the time she wanted to push back, it was already too late… The scent of pheromones grew stronger, the mingling of both their scents igniting a fire in Si Shao she simply couldn’t put out. It wasn’t until she fully claimed Yan Xijing that the fire truly exploded.
By the time Yan Xijing woke up the next evening, her entire body was sore and weak, but her heart was completely satisfied—they were finally together, wholly and completely.
Si Shao sat beside her. When she saw Yan Xijing wake up, she didn’t reach out to hug her, but instead asked coldly, “Why?”
Yan Xijing knew she couldn’t lie her way out of this. Nor did she intend to. “You said you were going on a blind date. I had no choice but to make the first move.”
“So you drugged me?!”
Si Shao had always been confident in her self-control. That was the only reason she agreed to stay the night—she believed there was no way they’d cross the line. But the truth was, they crossed it, completely.
Yan Xijing had, indeed, drugged her. To be certain of success, she’d even removed her pheromone-blocking patch. With her seducing Si Shao like that—drug or no drug—it would’ve been hard for any alpha to resist, let alone with the added effect of the drug.
Si Shao was furious—not just because Yan Xijing had used such methods, but because she had so little respect for herself. “How could you do this?”
“You have to take responsibility, Si Shao.”
Over the past months, Yan Xijing had tried everything she could think of to win Si Shao back, to save their relationship—but none of it had worked. Si Shao was determined to break away. No matter what Yan Xijing did, it changed nothing. So rather than watch her fall in love with someone else, marry, have kids with them, she figured—why not push it further?
Si Shao didn’t even know what to say anymore. Now that things had reached this point, she had to take responsibility. But what about after that? How were they supposed to face each other?
Yan Xijing didn’t care. All she knew was that Si Shao wouldn’t run from her now. That was enough. Though her body was drained of energy, she still leaned over and hugged Si Shao, as if doing so made her belong to her.
Si Shao didn’t push her away. After a full mark, omegas instinctively grow attached to their alphas, and alphas naturally develop a possessive instinct in return. Even if her mind told her to have a serious conversation, she just couldn’t bring herself to talk now.
“Baby, I’m hungry,” Yan Xijing cooed, acting like nothing had happened and trying to be sweet with Si Shao—just like the old days.
Si Shao was flooded with mixed emotions, but she couldn’t let Yan Xijing go hungry. She gently tapped her arm and said, “Let me go. I’ll make you something to eat.”
“I want to come with you.”
Yan Xijing didn’t want to be apart from her, even for a minute.
Si Shao sighed. “Can you even get up?”
“I…” Truthfully, Yan Xijing could barely make it to the bathroom on her own, let alone cook with Si Shao.
“Alright, I’m not going anywhere. I’m just going to make some porridge. Let go.”
“Okay…”
Yan Xijing, though reluctant, finally let go of Si Shao.
Si Shao headed to the living room, called her company to make some arrangements, and then started cooking porridge. Things had gone too far now. Even if she regretted it, there was no turning back.
Thinking about her parents gave her a headache. If they found out she was now tied to Yan Xijing, they’d definitely be upset. They’d need to move into a new place after registering their marriage.
Everything had happened too suddenly. She wasn’t prepared. She’d have to think everything through carefully.
When the porridge was ready, Si Shao brought it into the bedroom and fed it to Yan Xijing, who looked at her with a face full of happiness the entire time.
Si Shao couldn’t take her burning gaze for too long and said, “Just focus on eating.”
“Si Shao, are you unhappy?”
“What do you think?” Si Shao replied flatly.
Being drugged out of nowhere—how could she be happy about that? In her mind, these kinds of things should only happen between two people who loved each other, who had already married. But now…
Yan Xijing knew what she had done was despicable, but she just couldn’t help it. She couldn’t bear watching Si Shao belong to anyone else. “I’m sorry, this is all my fault. I’ll make it up to you. You never wanted me to act—so I’ll quit. I’ll stay at home and take care of you, I…”
“No. I don’t need that kind of compensation. You changing yourself just for me—that’s a burden I can’t bear. Yan Xijing, you’ve completely stopped respecting yourself.”
Whether it was the drugging or the way she so easily said she’d give up her career—both were irrational to Si Shao, and she didn’t like it one bit.
Yan Xijing felt a sharp sting in her chest from those words, and for a moment, she wanted to cry—but she held it in. Now wasn’t the time to cry. “I know I’m being pathetic. I can’t even control myself. In the past, I never would’ve dreamed I’d resort to something so low.”
“That’s not what I meant. I…”
“No need to explain. This is all on me. I’m a selfish, despicable, manipulative brat. So, Si Shao, if you…” Yan Xijing actually wanted to say, if you don’t want to take responsibility, I understand. But when the words reached her lips, she just couldn’t say them. Not after everything she’d done. There was no way she could let go now.
“Alright, don’t think too much. Eat your porridge. I’ll handle everything.”
Si Shao didn’t even have to think to know how messy things would be from here on out—but there was no other way. Even if she’d been drugged, she hadn’t completely lost control last night. So this responsibility… she had to face it.
After eating, Si Shao even carried Yan Xijing to the bathroom. Once that was done, she tucked her back into bed.
While Yan Xijing slept, Si Shao began thinking about the housing situation. She still had two small villas under her name in the city, which would make it easier for commuting. They’d move into one of them for now.
Before registering their marriage, both families had to be informed. What was done was done—no use regretting it now. They had to act quickly. At the very least, they needed to get the paperwork done before Yan Xijing’s belly started to show.
As for the drugging… that would have to be kept secret. The best approach would be to pretend that she had “remembered everything.” That way, her parents would find it easier to accept.
