…Nevertheless, it felt somewhat lonely not getting any help despite there being generals nearby. It felt like I was the only one not finishing the job, making my superior wait while working overtime.

Thinking back, ever since arriving at the site in the evening, there had been continuous events like meetings, confrontations with zombie legions, exploration of tunnels, and I hadn’t even taken proper breaks.

While the generals were amazed at the trench being dug so easily, I was surprised by something else. Of course, it was about the abnormal size of the dimensional space.

Based on my experience so far, the size of the dimensional space is proportional to the amount of magical power. I did feel an increase in magical power when I used magic after defeating the Orc King Zombie, but I had never felt it expanding to this extent.

If there’s something I suspect, it’s probably the effect of defeating the Eldritch. Although it was Isezaki-san who defeated it, I used my magical power, so there’s a possibility.

Perhaps the reason I wasn’t particularly concerned when Isezaki-san invoked the Sacred Engagement, which supposedly lasts for a hundred years, was thanks to this power boost.

By the way, Isezaki-san, who tried to accompany me in my work, ended up falling asleep during the meeting, so I somewhat forcibly persuaded her and Colin to rest first. I hope she can sleep peacefully without having nightmares this time.

When I glanced at the wilderness a while ago, I witnessed a group of undead illuminated by the moonlight, walking in a neat line across the wilderness. It was a creepy sight that seemed straight out of a nightmare, but I should have been doing my job. To be honest, I really appreciate that they worked diligently, considering they could have easily slacked off within the boundaries that don’t interfere with the Sacred Engagement.

“What’s up? If you’ve finished your work over there, you’re welcome to rest first.”

“Don’t say such boring things! It’s lonely to sleep alone, you know. I’ll wait for you to finish, so let’s do something together?”

Saying so, Maristel leaned closer to me and flaunted her ample cleavage spilling out from her dress.
