So, while still holding hands with Aihara, I was taken to the same hospital I visited with the Isezaki family not long ago.

It’s a coincidence, but VIP rooms like these aren’t found in just any hospital, so the options are somewhat limited.

“Hey, could you let go of my hand soon? Holding hands, especially in a hospital, is way too embarrassing.”

Jounai Juuzou from the Jounai Group. Yes, I’m very familiar with that. Or at least, I’d like to say I am, but I couldn’t speak due to the sudden shock.

Aihara pushed me aside and approached the intercom. Then, she pressed the button.

I could hear Jounai’s voice through the intercom. It sounded livelier and more spirited than when we last met. Perhaps he’s in high spirits because his beloved granddaughter has come to visit.

Unable to gather my thoughts, the door opened mercilessly. From my position, I couldn’t see, but apparently Jounai himself opened the door to greet us. Aihara grinned and raised her voice.

Aihara pulled my arm and led me to the door.

And there before me appeared Juuzou, dressed in an aloha shirt, looking like a character straight out of a comic book.

With a double peace sign, he looked at me, his face stiffening. I’m sure I had the same expression.

“Uh, um, nice to meet you… I’m Matsunaga Koutarou, here for the introduction…”

“Oh, yeah… I’m Juuzou…”

And so, Juuzou and I continued to stare at each other, frozen in place for a while.
