Chapter 20: A Long Time
â—Ž Can’t Leave Me for Even a Second â—Ž
Zhou Shuyu couldn’t help but rub against Song Qi’s palm. Her submissive action was just like that of a conquered dog.
Zhou Shuyu’s mind was a blur, or maybe she was just indulging herself, letting herself sink into the sea of desire. This pitifully small touch was like drinking poison to quench her thirst.
Even with her body’s craving, she only grabbed Song Qi’s hand and placed it on her face, greedily enjoying that bit of coolness.
Aside from her body not allowing it, Zhou Shuyu had been both unrestrained and restrained.
“How about you ask me?”
“I can help you.”
Zhou Shuyu’s eyes were like they were covered in a mist. Although her face was so aggressive, her gaze at Song Qi was innocent enough.
“No.”
It wasn’t the right time yet, at least not now.
“Sorry, Miss.”
“See? Did you forget our agreement?”
“Sorry, A-Qi.” Zhou Shuyu brought Song Qi’s hand to her nose to absorb that tiny bit of pheromone.
The animalistic nature of the ABO world was so obvious. People in the Blue Star world suppressed their desires in this area to a minimum, while in the ABO world, this animalistic nature was deliberately amplified.
As long as they were in their estrus/rut period, they couldn’t suppress their desires.
The injuries she sustained during the war made it easier for her to be moved and aroused. Now, she was on the verge of losing her mind because of a close kiss.
It was truly an ugly sight, but she couldn’t help it. The omega in front of her was the goddess who would save her.
Song Qi couldn’t feel nothing from the hot breath of the alpha spraying on her fingertips.
Zhou Shuyu’s situation wasn’t good, and neither was hers.
This was her first time experiencing insatiable desire.
The alpha’s slight touch made her want to entwine her whole body with her, to calm every inch of her skin that was craving a touch.
So this feeling was called lust.
Song Qi found it new.
After she differentiated, her body was tortured every day, but she never thought that one day, she could feel pleasure from just being touched.
She wanted more touches, but now Zhou Shuyu’s wheelchair and the casts on her hands were getting in the way.
Song Qi bent down and moved closer to Zhou Shuyu’s neck.
The alpha’s pleasant scent of lily of the valley lingered at her nose. The way she welcomed her approach was like a puppy that had been waiting for its owner for a long time, with enthusiasm, joy, and impatience.
Zhou Shuyu was pressed tightly against the back of the wheelchair. The omega’s fair and clean neck was right in front of her, and there was still an annoying suppressant patch on the back of her neck.
Zhou Shuyu closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She looked exactly like a pervert, a sight no one should see.
“A-Qi,” Zhou Shuyu couldn’t help but whisper. She rubbed her furry head against the omega’s neck.
“Sigh.”
The omega let out a long sigh.
She should take some inhibitors. Neither of them could do anything right now.
“I’ll go get the inhibitors.”
“Wait for me here obediently.”
The omega pulled away from between them without hesitation.
After a moment, she returned with an inhibitor.
Zhou Shuyu looked at the omega walking toward her, and she almost wanted to get up from the wheelchair, eager to get the omega’s comfort.
“Drink this first, and I’ll comfort you slowly.”
Song Qi opened the medicine and brought it to Zhou Shuyu’s mouth.
In her current state, it seemed Zhou Shuyu would obediently take anything Song Qi fed her. Even if it was poison, Zhou Shuyu would drink it.
The inhibitor was very bitter.
So bitter that a tear squeezed out of the corner of Zhou Shuyu’s eye.
“It’s bitter.”
Song Qi looked at Zhou Shuyu’s scrunched-up face, and a look of pleasure flashed in her eyes.
“It should be bitter.”
Zhou Shuyu looked at Song Qi with a pitiful expression, as if she had done something terrible.
“Drink another bottle of nutrient liquid. Get some good rest today.”
Song Qi rubbed Zhou Shuyu’s head and took her to her room.
An alpha’s pheromones during their rut period were extremely inductive. Song Qi was experiencing the taste of being in heat for the first time, but she couldn’t let herself go.
After drinking two inhibitors, she could finally breathe freely and talk to Zhou Shuyu.
After drinking the inhibitor, Zhou Shuyu’s condition improved a lot, but her face and body were still hot and restless.
Just as she had been enduring for many years, this should have been a temperature she was used to, but having touched Song Qi’s comfort, she couldn’t help but crave that feeling of satisfaction.
No, she couldn’t be satisfied. She couldn’t be satisfied until her injuries were healed.
Zhou Shuyu gave a bitter smile and went upstairs. She really should get some good rest.
The woman’s sleeping face was peaceful, but her tightly furrowed brows showed her physical discomfort.
Her rut period had been delayed for a long time, and the lust brought on by a kiss was surging.
If she were at the sanatorium, Zhou Shuyu’s limbs would have been restrained, and she would have been locked in a padded isolation room.
When she was discharged, Zhou Shuyu was able to control the effects of her rut period well. For a long time, she and Song Qi had been getting along just fine.
Lying on the bed filled with the omega’s sweet scent, Zhou Shuyu couldn’t help but bury her entire head in the pillow to absorb the omega’s pheromones.
Song Qi didn’t come.
Zhou Shuyu raised her head from the pillow, her dark, beautiful hair slightly messy.
There were too few pheromones in the room.
She looked up, and the omega was nowhere to be found in the entire room.
A sense of anxiety enveloped her heart. Even though Zhou Shuyu knew Song Qi was fine, she still got out of bed to look for her.
The inhibitor wasn’t working well. Zhou Shuyu’s mind had only one thought: to find Song Qi.
Her left tibia was fractured, so her movements were very inconvenient.
Song Qi heard a muffled thud from the next room and rushed over, feeling a wave of helplessness when she saw the alpha lying on the floor.
“What are you trying to do?”
“Weren’t you just lying on the bed fine a moment ago?”
“I just went to the next room to get a scented inhibitor. Couldn’t you wait for even a second or two?”
“It was a long time.” Zhou Shuyu lay on the floor, looking up at the standing Song Qi like a fish out of water.
“You were gone for too long.”
Song Qi obviously didn’t expect a rutting alpha to be so clingy. If Zhou Shuyu hadn’t fainted last time, Song Qi would have seen a similar scene to this.
“Will you remember what you look like right now?”
“Will you remember what happened today?”
Song Qi asked softly.
“I will. I’ll remember.”
Zhou Shuyu said with certainty, reaching out her hand in Song Qi’s direction.
“Hold my hand.”
Song Qi’s heart trembled violently as she looked at Zhou Shuyu’s pathetic state.
She walked over to Zhou Shuyu, using all her strength to help the injured patient onto the bed.
“I’m really afraid you’ll get hurt again.”
The alpha got what she wanted and held Song Qi’s hand. The cast on her arm wasn’t heavy, but she still couldn’t move freely.
Zhou Shuyu’s head was pressed tightly against Song Qi’s, like a large dog in desperate need of a pet.
Song Qi’s heart softened as she looked at her. The alpha was so submissive. All her aggression was probably on her face.
But now, even her face looked much softer, not as sharp and proud as usual.
The omega’s gaze fell on the alpha’s bright red lips. Her slightly parted lips looked inviting.
“You should forget it.”
Song Qi lowered her head slightly, and her cool lips covered those thin lips.
Like tasting a very precious dessert, the omega’s pearly teeth gently ground against the soft lips.
Her mouth was filled with the scent of lily of the valley, but the omega’s initiative was immediately seized by the alpha.
Her anxiousness was like a desire to be soothed. The omega responded calmly, her hands caressing the alpha’s back.
Time seemed to stretch for an entire season, yet it also seemed to last for only a second. When the alpha pulled away, a trace of unspoken reluctance flashed in Song Qi’s eyes.
“We’ll eat tomorrow,” Zhou Shuyu whispered.
Song Qi found it amusing.
I wonder if you’ll remember this tomorrow.
What if you want to forget all of this?
Even if you were the one who started it, what if you don’t want to admit it?
Song Qi held the alpha’s less-injured arm, which was now only in two splints.
“Yes, she and I won’t be going to the old house for the next two days.”
“It’s fine. At worst, I’ll go and slap her myself.”
The omega’s pleasant voice echoed in Zhou Shuyu’s ears.
When she opened her eyes, she saw Song Qi hanging up the phone.
It was only when Song Qi looked at her that she realized her left hand was tightly holding the other’s.
“What’s wrong?”
