The Savior Says She's Having a Breakdown - Chapter 2
Chapter 2: Kidnapped by Aliens (Part 2)
Under the red-haired beauty’s instruction, her subordinate gave Feng Qingyu a day-long popular science lesson on the history of Planet Alpha in the Sigma Galaxy.
The black-haired woman sat opposite Feng Qingyu and said in a very official tone: “Please allow me to reintroduce myself before explaining the history of Planet Alpha to you—we are from the Rose Legion of Planet Alpha. I am Vice Commander Yuna, and the person who just left is our Legion Commander, Lady Maggie.”
Maggie? That name sounds a bit like an insult. Feng Qingyu looked at Yuna. Before determining the personality of the person in front of her, she decided to keep her complaints to herself.
“Planet Alpha, like Earth, is a beautiful planet suitable for life to thrive. However, on our planet, there are only female beings. And our reproduction relies solely on the Sacred Spring Water, the most divine water on our planet. But now, the Sacred Spring—it has completely dried up.”
The entire planet only has women, and reproduction relies entirely on spring water? This is the interstellar version of an all-female kingdom? Feng Qingyu really wanted to ask them if they had read Journey to the West.
“The Sacred Spring’s water level began to drop suddenly three years ago, and now it has completely dried up. Our planet is facing a crisis of extinction. Lady Commander has been searching the universe for these three years until recently, when she found records of your Earth in the universal database—that Nüwa possessed the ability to mold people from clay.”
After hearing all this, Feng Qingyu finally couldn’t hold back her genuine question: “Didn’t you ever think that simply kidnapping a man would be much more efficient and useful than kidnapping me to learn about Nüwa and molding clay?”
Yuna was not angered by her objection and answered very seriously: “We once conducted experiments on combining with male humans from other planets for reproduction, but the experiments all failed. The internal organ structure of Alpha natives differs from that of humans on other planets. People from the two planets cannot produce offspring together. In your Earth’s terminology, this is called ‘reproductive isolation’.”
“But you can’t just believe such a vague myth! The ‘Descendant of Nüwa’ setting is just a private invention by a game company on our Earth. Don’t take it too seriously. If I really were her descendant, then from a genetics standpoint, I should be… an idiot.” Feng Qingyu was on the verge of tears. “Seriously, the universe is so vast. If you search a little more, you can definitely find a man who doesn’t have reproductive isolation with you to help you solve your dilemma! I’m just an ordinary Earth person. I really don’t have that much power.”
“You are too modest. When Lady Maggie dispatched us to search for a target on Earth, she indeed discovered a special energy within you. The Lady confirmed repeatedly that this energy is the Nüwa Power, which can grant life to clay.”
I’ll use all my “primordial power” then! Feng Qingyu was internally collapsing. She now understood what it meant to “preach to deaf ears” and to be “impervious to reason.”
“No need to waste any more breath on her, Yuna,” Maggie walked in, interrupting their seemingly friendly conversation. “Send a message to Hena to prepare the materials. We will start immediately upon arrival. Remember, this matter must be kept completely secret from them.”
“Yes, Lady Maggie.” Yuna nodded to Maggie and curtly left the room.
With Yuna gone, Feng Qingyu could only sit on the large pink bed, glaring at Maggie.
Maggie’s original plan was to immediately lock Feng Qingyu in a glass room in the inner chamber upon arrival on Planet Alpha and start the creation process, while she herself continued to move about outside, maintaining the pretense that no progress had been made. But she didn’t expect to be caught red-handed right at her doorstep.
Maggie, whose expression was highly unpleasant, spoke to the red-haired woman across from her, who looked only about as tall as a ten-year-old child: “Barbara.”
Hearing that Maggie had returned, Barbara immediately brought her guard team and waited at Maggie’s doorstep.
Seeing Maggie and her legion return empty-handed and looking very displeased, Barbara’s mood instantly improved somewhat. She even forgave the rudeness of the other party not calling her “sister,” and her tone softened a little compared to usual: “You’re back? It must have been a tough journey. Why don’t you rest early? It doesn’t matter if you didn’t succeed, anyway—no one—including Mother—was counting on you to save the mother planet.”
Watching Barbara and her guard team’s grand departure growing further and further away until they disappeared from sight, Maggie finally waved her hand, signaling Yuna behind her to escort the person into the house.
If Barbara had made a sudden return at this moment, she would have discovered a strange face wearing the legion’s uniform had appeared in Maggie’s legion. This new face was none other than the Earth person, Feng Qingyu, who was inexplicably kidnapped.
Not long after walking away, Barbara suddenly clapped her hands: “Darn it, I was tricked by her!”
The guard captain was stunned and asked: “Your Highness, should we go back now?”
Barbara bit her lower lip and snapped: “Forget it! Even if we go back, it will be too late. She must have hidden the thing already! That damned Maggie! But starting tomorrow, I’ll go to her house every day! I don’t believe she won’t slip up!”
“Yes, Your Highness is brilliant!”
Perhaps due to excessive shock and tension, Feng Qingyu fell asleep immediately after being thrown into the inner room and handed over to the maidservant to change clothes.
When she woke up again, she was still lying on a large pink bed, but the room’s furnishings were different from those on the spaceship. After a minute of recalling what had happened to her in the last two days, Feng Qingyu resignedly told herself: it really wasn’t a dream.
Slowly sitting up, the first thing Feng Qingyu did was check her body to see if these aliens had used her for any human experiments.
After confirming that she did not have any strange scars or implants, Feng Qingyu began to survey her surroundings—
The room’s decor did not look much different from that on Earth, just with a strong Mary Sue vibe—a pink bed, pink comforter, pink bed curtains, pink curtains, and pink furniture. Even she herself had been changed into pink pajamas! Thankfully, the walls and carpet of the room were not pink.
If she hadn’t personally seen the view outside the window on the spaceship, just looking at the architecture and interior design here, Feng Qingyu would absolutely not believe that she had been abducted by aliens and taken far away from Earth.
Just as Feng Qingyu got out of bed and was about to pull the curtains, the door opened.
“You are awake. Please change your clothes.” A blonde girl who looked like a maidservant held up a tray with a folded pink dress on it. “Her Highness is waiting for you in the conference room.”
Seeing the color, Feng Qingyu felt a wave of dizziness, thinking that if she really wore this, she might see everything as green later. So she tentatively asked: “Do you have any other colors?”
“No. Please change your clothes.” The maidservant put the tray aside and, while speaking, reached out, intending to forcibly strip the pajamas off her.
The anger in Feng Qingyu’s heart had been accumulating for a long time. Pulled by the maidservant at this moment, she couldn’t hold back and exploded: “Get lost!”
The maidservant staggered and was caught by a guard who had just entered.
Seeing her maidservant pushed, Maggie’s face darkened, and she said coldly: “What are you doing?”
“I’m not wearing this!” Feng Qingyu was in a fit of rage and forgot to be afraid. She snatched the pink dress and threw it at Maggie’s face. “You are the ones who need my help, shouldn’t you be begging me submissively? Why should I keep accommodating you! That’s right, I’m not going to accommodate you anymore!”
The guard behind Maggie moved swiftly, neatly catching the dress.
Looking at the dress that almost hit her face, Maggie sneered, drew the sword from her waist, and slashed it directly at Feng Qingyu. After a few flourishes, she sheathed the sword and said: “You won’t wear it? Very well, I don’t mind you appearing naked in my conference room.”
Looking at the scattered pink fabric scraps on the floor—which had just been a complete pajama set on her body—Feng Qingyu immediately backed down. Nothing, neither anger nor dignity, was more important than her life!
“Three minutes.” Maggie left this sentence and turned away gracefully.
Watching Maggie leave, Feng Qingyu looked at the only two pieces of fabric left on her body—her underwear—and sighed deeply: “When you’re under someone’s roof, you have to bow your head!”
The maidservant took the long dress from the guard’s hand and stood aside, saying: “Please change your clothes.”
Feng Qingyu, afraid that she would reach out again, hurriedly said: “I’ll do it myself.”
“But I heard that there are no such clothes on Earth. Do you… know how to wear it?” The deliberate pause and lowered voice seemed to be an attempt to spare Feng Qingyu’s self-esteem.
However, sometimes trying to explain just makes things worse. Feng Qingyu, whose self-esteem was severely hurt, gritted her teeth and said: “It’s fine. Although our Earth’s technology is backward, our Earth people’s learning ability is EX-TREME-LY strong!”
