The Scumbag Alpha's Redemption in a Sweet Romance - Chapter 29
Chapter 29
“I just have this last part. Don’t worry about me, you go to sleep first.” Ning Chun turned to the next page, and the raised paper blocked the burning gaze.
Ning Chun numbered the key points she needed to pay attention to. When she turned the page, one of the documents accidentally fell. She moved with lightning speed, flipping over and catching it just before it hit the floor.
Her speed was indeed a bit faster than before. It seemed that there were benefits to her level increasing.
When she turned back around, she saw Yan Hua lying in a strange position where she had just been sitting.
“You want to sleep on this side? Then I’ll go to the other side.” After giving up her spot, Ning Chun became even more convinced that this was the reason.
She was so considerate.
But when she got into bed, Yan Hua didn’t lie down to rest. Instead, she came over to her side and rested her forehead on Ning Chun’s shoulder.
Ning Chun’s mind was full of plans and key points. This small amount of weight on her shoulder was nothing to her, so she didn’t pay any attention to it.
Yan Hua looked at the hand that was holding the pen, wanting to hold it. Every inch of the skin that was exposed was extremely tempting. It made her want to press against it, and then to press harder.
Ning Chun’s hand had distinct knuckles. Because her skin was too fair, the bluish-purple veins beneath the surface were more pronounced. Especially on the back of her right hand, to the bottom right, there was a small brown mole that made her want to touch it.
Warm breaths hit her slender neck, making Ning Chun feel ticklish. She raised her hand to scratch, but it was caught by another hand.
Yan Hua slowly let out a breath. “Are you done?”
The documents in her hand had been organized and stacked neatly, ready to be taken to work tomorrow.
Ning Chun hummed in response, trying to pull her hand back, but it was held even tighter.
Yan Hua’s face slowly got closer to her, almost pinning her in place.
Her left hand was restrained, and Yan Hua’s fingers slipped into the gaps between her fingers, forcing them to interlock.
Why were they holding hands in the middle of the night?
Ning Chun, whose mind was in a fog, didn’t have time to react before she was pushed onto the bed. She propped herself up and was pushed down again.
She wasn’t going to let this slide. Ning Chun remained silent, only competing with her.
The third time she was pushed, she grabbed Yan Hua’s waist, used a clever twist of her wrist, and flipped her over onto the bed. Their positions instantly switched.
Ning Chun regained the upper hand.
“What do you want to do?” She pried open their interlocked fingers one by one until the last bit of skin-to-skin contact was separated.
Yan Hua’s eyes were a little red, and she shed tears uncomfortably.
Her chest was heaving even more than before. Ning Chun thought, “Could her heat be here?” She reached out to touch the scent gland on the back of Yan Hua’s neck, but her hand was slapped away.
“It’s not my susceptibility period.”
“But you… you don’t look good. Do you need to go to the hospital?”
Ning Chun knelt beside her, looking down at the lying Yan Hua.
“Are you worried about me?” Yan Hua asked.
Ning Chun nodded, as if it wasn’t her who had wanted to push her away just moments ago.
“Then help me, okay?” Yan Hua’s face was flushed, and her voice was a little hoarse when she spoke.
She extended a hand to Ning Chun. Ning Chun held her fingertips, and Yan Hua used her strength to get up from the bed.
Then, she gave her a tight, full embrace.
Ning Chun was stunned. Their body temperatures could be felt through their skin.
This was the first time she had hugged someone while she was sober. She had never felt this way before.
Soft, warm, and fragrant.
Yan Hua’s hand glided down her back. That tingling sensation was so clear, even through the thin layer of her clothing. It was as if it was coming from her very bones.
To be honest, Ning Chun couldn’t handle it. Her back even started to stiffen, and she subconsciously straightened up even more.
A soft head was nestled in the crook of her neck, rubbing against her every now and then. Ning Chun clearly felt Yan Hua pressing her face against her neck, her warm breaths playfully teasing her.
“How much longer will this take?” Ning Chun’s back was soon covered in a fine layer of sweat. It was so agonizing.
“Almost. My back feels a little uncomfortable. Can you rub it for me?”
If her back was uncomfortable, she should go to a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner for a massage.
Ning Chun didn’t understand, but she did as she was told. The pressure from her hands was neither too light nor too heavy. She massaged her back through her pajamas. “What’s wrong with you?”
“Ning Chun, you’re so half-hearted.” Yan Hua retreated from her embrace and grabbed one of her wrists.
Yan Hua’s fingertips rubbed against the cuff of her sleeve. Her index and middle fingers slid into the sleeve, going deeper. It was a very simple action, but it made Ning Chun’s heart inexplicably race.
“I’m different from other Omegas. Sometimes, I get nervous easily and lack a sense of security. I need someone to comfort me. You’re my Alpha. Who do you think should solve this problem?”
Her wrist was still being held, but Yan Hua pressed her forehead against Ning Chun’s.
Hearing these words, Ning Chun actually started to feel nervous. The world of ABO was so complex, and the information she had wasn’t detailed enough.
There were indeed some oversights. She focused the most on combat power and had a very limited understanding of the Omega’s attributes.
If Yan Hua hadn’t mentioned it, she might have never known.
Thinking of Yan Hua’s a few times of odd behavior, she thought it might have been this state.
“Me?” Ning Chun pointed at herself, a little unsure.
“Do you want me to find someone else?” Yan Hua raised an eyebrow and said sarcastically.
Ning Chun quickly waved her hands. “No, no, no, I didn’t mean that.”
She didn’t have the peculiar habit of wanting someone to plant grass on her head.
“Why don’t you change into your pajamas and we can rest?”
Ning Chun obediently went to change into her pajamas and wash up.
However, her pajamas were basically silk slip dresses that exposed her arms and most of her back. But she had jackets that she could wear over them, so Ning Chun always wore two pieces to sleep.
This comfortable and light wrapping feeling gave her a sense of security.
As soon as she lay down, Yan Hua leaned over, placing her arm directly across her lower abdomen and wrapping her waist.
Her leg also pressed against hers, and she even intimately rubbed against her.
One of her arms was pinned down and couldn’t move. The other hand was held, but not for long; it was soon released.
Yan Hua’s hand climbed up the sleeve of her outer robe. Her palm stroked all the way up, making Ning Chun feel ticklish and even want to laugh.
But she soon stopped laughing. Yan Hua’s hand had somehow moved to her waist, felt around her soft, flat abdomen, and quickly moved upward along her abdominal muscles.
Seeing that it was about to reach a crucial area, Ning Chun pressed down on her hand through her clothes, her heart pounding very fast.
“I think you might have misunderstood something.” Ning Chun pulled her hand away as quickly as she could.
Yan Hua opened her eyes and blinked innocently. “Misunderstood what?”
“You’re the one who needs comfort. I don’t.”
“Is that so? I didn’t get anything wrong.” Yan Hua tried to break free, but Ning Chun didn’t let go.
“But you’ve been touching me, and I don’t need comfort.”
The air was quiet for a moment. This time, Yan Hua broke free. Ning Chun let out a soft breath, having almost lost her composure.
But before she could relax, her hand was held again. “It’s indeed your turn. Don’t do it through clothes.”
Ning Chun felt her throat was dry and wanted to drink some water.
Her hand went under the clothes, moving from Yan Hua’s waist to her back.
When her fingertips first touched her skin, she couldn’t help but flinch. Yan Hua’s body temperature was slightly higher than hers. When Ning Chun touched her, she only felt heat. Her palm was dry and cool, and just touching her made Yan Hua feel comfortable.
The body in her hand was indeed a little thin. Besides the smooth and soft skin, Ning Chun also felt her spine, especially her butterfly blades. As long as Yan Hua moved a little, the sensation would be much more obvious.
Her fingers suddenly paused. Yan Hua was only wearing a slip dress and nothing underneath.
Ning Chun’s pressure was neither too light nor too heavy; it was just right. Yan Hua’s eyes were half-closed, and the anxious feeling of craving in her heart was slowly dissipating. If she could, she wanted to be closer.
But Ning Chun seemed to have a big reaction. It was better to take things slowly.
She found that she couldn’t be aggressive with Ning Chun; it would only arouse her fighting spirit. She had to be reasonable and gentle with her. When the time was right, she could also say some convincing lies, and that would work better.
Yan Hua nestled in Ning Chun’s arms, thinking that Ning Chun seemed to know everything on the surface, but she was a complete blank slate when it came to the relationship and interaction between A and O. Even the marking last time wasn’t done perfectly.
Did no one teach her?
This was a required physiology class for everyone. There was no way she didn’t know.
There were still many questions in her mind, but she didn’t have the extra energy to think. She just wanted to fully immerse herself in the comfortable comfort.
Ning Chun’s chin was resting on the top of her head, and she was lying on her side in a half-embrace position.
The room was very quiet. Ning Chun suddenly said out of the blue, “You’re so skinny there’s not even a single ounce of meat on you.”
Yan Hua’s eyes flew open. She looked up from Ning Chun’s embrace. “What did you say? You think my body is bad?”
Ning Chun moved back a little, feeling that the atmosphere was not good. “I didn’t say that.”
Yan Hua sat up directly and even started to measure her own waist with her hand. “You clearly just said it.”
“I… I just think you’ve been working too hard recently and have lost some weight. I want to cook you some delicious food to help you recover. You must have misunderstood.” Ning Chun pulled her back into the covers and pressed her down on the pillow. “It’s late. Go to sleep.”
Ning Chun turned over and pretended to be asleep.
Just as she was about to fall asleep, she vaguely felt someone pulling her hand, but it soon disappeared.
Little did she know that after she fell asleep, Yan Hua lay next to her and watched her for most of the night.
Her touch, her pheromones—they were like temptations to Yan Hua.
As soon as she released a little bit, Yan Hua couldn’t control herself and wanted to get closer.
Their compatibility was far beyond the initial test results.
But Ning Chun didn’t know anything. Besides her susceptibility period, she rarely released pheromones. If Yan Hua hadn’t intentionally stimulated her, she wouldn’t have released any at all.
And Yan Hua, even if she wanted it, she wouldn’t say it. She didn’t want Ning Chun to use pheromones to control her.
Early the next morning, Ning Chun was woken up by her alarm. She hadn’t even gotten out of bed yet, but Ning Qing had already sent several messages urging her to come to the company.
For a million yuan, she would endure it!
While Ning Chun was in a meeting with the collaborator at the company, Song Xiaoran suddenly showed up with gifts.
The butler thought it was a bad sign, but Yan Hua was already walking down the stairs.
“Miss Song, please have a seat and drink some tea. Our miss went to the company. Only Miss Yan is at home.”
Song Xiaoran looked at the woman coming down the stairs and smiled faintly. “It’s fine. If I can’t see Xiao Chun, seeing Miss Yan is okay too.”
