Chapter 46: Theft (Plus Update for Teacher Fan’s Cover!)
“Have mercy on me…”
Xie Shiwei barely managed to walk out of the bathroom.
As she emerged, face flushed and legs weak, she was met by Zhong Chu-yao’s suspicious gaze:
“Why is your face so red after a shower? Oxygen deprivation? Poor ventilation?”
Zhong Chu-yao’s face instantly changed color: “It couldn’t be that the water heater model is too old and you have carbon monoxide poisoning, could it?”
She looked at Xie Shiwei’s cheeks, lips, and nail beds. The more she looked, the more the symptoms matched poisoning! Cherry-red! This was definitely the cherry skin tone of poisoning!
Xie Shiwei: “…”
She noted where her friend’s eyes had landed—
The flushed face was the rush of color from multiple waves of heat.
The red, swollen lips were from biting them to suppress repeated screams.
The red fingertips were the desperate marks of clinging to her girlfriend while begging for mercy.
Xie Shiwei weakly called out to stop her:
“N-no, it’s just that I like to take hot showers, and the water was too hot… But, but it was a bit stuffy. I’m going to lie down on the bed to recover.”
Zhong Chu-yao watched her limp, seemingly ready to fall at any moment.
Her initial suspicion slowly dissipated when she saw the residual bruise on one of Xie Shiwei’s knees.
“See if you call me next time you go out. Look at how badly you’ve fallen!” Zhong Chu-yao complained, walking over to turn off the light for her: “Go to sleep early. No staying up late. Call me if you need anything tonight.”
Xie Shiwei closed her eyes and gave a soft “Mm.”
She was waiting for Zhong Chu-yao to fall asleep quickly so she could sneak her girlfriend out of the bathroom.
She couldn’t possibly leave her girlfriend, whose clothes were also soaked, to wait in the bathroom all night, could she?
But thinking of that person, Xie Shiwei couldn’t help but recall everything that happened in the bathroom.
The cool night air drifted in from outside, but her body beneath the blanket began to warm slowly.
Half an hour ago.
The moment the shower’s powerful stream was aimed at her, her tears fell from her eyes as the water columns sprayed over her.
Xie Shiwei only managed to stand for less than five seconds before she couldn’t help but raise her hands to block the water, but the showerhead was uncontrollable, spraying randomly from all directions.
The water swept over her collarbones, waist, and then relentlessly pounded her thighs, making them numb.
Finally, Xie Shiwei couldn’t help but squat down, pressing her legs together, crying and shaking her head, silently begging for mercy from her girlfriend:
“No… please don’t… I beg you…”
Water droplets and mist also splashed onto the woman’s black hair, and the hem of her skirt darkened, making her look like a spirit emerging from the sea.
How could a spirit understand human emotions?
She merely walked over slowly, lifted the pointed toe of her black high-heeled shoe, and placed it on Xie Shiwei’s uninjured knee, applying pressure until that knee was forced outward, pressing against the cold tile wall—
The merciless column of water once again rushed over the area of her body most in need of cleaning.
In Xie Shiwei’s unfocused peripheral vision, all she could see was the black shoe upper, the bright red sole, and her own snowy white knee.
The extreme color contrast constantly reminded her that while she was in messy disarray, her girlfriend was perfectly dressed, without even a loosened shoelace buckle.
Xie Shiwei was already tormented to the point where she had to bite her palm to stifle her screams.
Yet, because of the stark contrast in attire.
She felt that she was the one acting like a hooligan and bullying the other person.
She felt like an exhibitionist.
She was shamelessly using her body to harass her girlfriend’s eyes.
Because her girlfriend was calmly staring at the area the shower was washing with those deep black eyes.
The other person didn’t say a word, but Xie Shiwei understood her silent question:
“Why won’t it wash clean?”
“Why is it always dirty?”
The shame of having done something wrong added another layer of stimulation to the mind of the good student, Xie Shiwei.
She could no longer hold back the scream in her throat and collapsed onto the cold floor, her body utterly weak.
When she recovered from that moment of blankness, she was held in a gentle embrace.
Snow-white shower gel foam, layer upon layer, covered her body, like icing on a cake.
“Are you awake?” The person holding her from behind prompted her to look down with interest: “See? Doesn’t it look like fresh cherries adorning the cake? Do you like to eat this?”
As her girlfriend spoke, she reached out to pluck a cherry from the cake.
To stop her, Xie Shiwei had to start crying again.
The tears she shed were gently licked away, and the foam on her body was rinsed off, layer by layer, by the water.
Relying on this memory, Xie Shiwei broke out in a comprehensive sweat under the covers. The comfort of her pores opening up made her completely forget she was waiting to rescue someone from the bathroom, and she unknowingly drifted off to sleep.
…
In her dream.
Xie Shiwei dreamt of a sea of fire. The flames leaped toward the sky, licking at her skin. Both she and her girlfriend were surrounded.
She seemed to cry again.
But the tears evaporated before they could fall.
Terrifying thick smoke, burning flames, scorching heat… She ran, holding her girlfriend’s hand, but at the moment of peak panic, she suddenly couldn’t see anything.
An invisible barrier separated her from those frightening scenes.
Xie Shiwei felt as though she had returned to her mother’s womb, her curled body surrounded by amniotic fluid.
She even heard a fierce heartbeat pressed tightly against her body.
“Thump! Thump! Thump!”
But it didn’t last long before an abrasive noise cut in.
“Crackle, crackle—”
Something was cracking.
The warm place that had always encased her suddenly contracted and squeezed, as if trying to deliver her.
But Xie Shiwei felt inexplicably reluctant, not wanting to leave this place…
But where was this place exactly?
It was soft, warm, and moist, and she could hear a thumping heartbeat. Haha, she really seemed to be living inside someone else’s body.
…Wait.
How could a grown adult like her live inside another person’s body?
Only a monster could completely swallow her and completely spit her out like this!
Xie Shiwei should have been terrified, but the absurd nature of the dream seemed to block her fear, causing her to become curious:
Why didn’t the monster eat her after all?
She quietly opened her eyes, wanting to reach out and pull her girlfriend along to observe this monster.
The surroundings were empty.
The monster was gone.
Her girlfriend was also gone.
—The monster had eaten her girlfriend, and they had vanished together.
…
“Weiwei? Weiwei?” An anxious voice sounded in her ear.
Xie Shiwei groggily opened her eyes. The ache and sadness in her heart poured out like a tide.
“What is it, Chu Chu?” She couldn’t see her friend clearly and fumbled for her glasses, but even with them on, she still couldn’t see.
Xie Shiwei blinked slowly, hearing a “pat, pat” sound—tears dropping onto the pillow.
Zhong Chu-yao pulled a tissue and dabbed her eye: “You had a nightmare.”
Her friend’s tone was certain.
Xie Shiwei couldn’t help but touch her nose: “What happened? Did I sleepwalk? Or did I wake you up with loud shouts or sleep-talking?”
Zhong Chu-yao recalled the “woo-woo” crying sound just now and the girl’s nervous muttering of “Sister, sister, don’t die…”
She paused, then smiled:
“No, I was already awake. I was going to wait for you to get up to ask what you wanted for breakfast, but then I saw you sleeping uncomfortably with a frown, so I just woke you up.”
“It must be your sleeping posture was wrong and putting pressure on a nerve. Go back to sleep.”
Xie Shiwei was amused by her friend’s definitive manner.
However, she didn’t want to sleep anymore.
Though the dream wasn’t explicitly scary, the suffocating pain that gripped her heart left a deep impression on Xie Shiwei. She was afraid that if she went back to sleep, the dream would continue.
So, she sat up: “I’m fine. Let me be discharged today. I’ll go wash up first…”
Wash up… Oh no!
Her girlfriend was still in the bathroom! Last night she promised to give the signal after Zhong Chu-yao fell asleep, but she was the one who fell asleep first! Her girlfriend couldn’t still be foolishly waiting for her signal in there, soaking wet, could she?!
Xie Shiwei momentarily forgot about her injured leg and rushed over.
The inside of the bathroom door was empty.
Zhong Chu-yao watched her hurried behavior, shaking her head with a smile, feeling that she had become quite lively since losing her memory.
It wasn’t the forced cheerfulness of someone burdened by heavy things but a more confident, relaxed kind of ease.
—It was as if she was absolutely sure that she was loved.
Zhong Chu-yao was relieved and decided that she couldn’t believe Xie Shiwei’s excuses about being busy anymore; they needed to see each other more often.
…
In the bathroom.
Xie Shiwei was brushing her teeth and playing with her phone when she saw two messages.
Jiang Xi-yao (Your ruthless and heartless forgotten girlfriend): “Waiting for you at home. Hurry back.”
“Pfft.”
Xie Shiwei saw the manually added parenthetical note, which required her to click into the chat to see in full, and burst out laughing, spitting out toothpaste foam.
Such a resentful message certainly wasn’t typed by her.
Who could have gotten ahold of her phone, known her password, and modified her friend’s note like this? So hard to guess!
And.
The pinned chat box, which originally belonged to “Chu Chu,” also had added content:
My Good BFF Chu Chu (What trash? Only I am allowed in your boudoir. Advise to delete.)
So childish.
Xie Shiwei thought this, but the reflection in the mirror showed her mouth curving up in a massive smile.
She switched back to Jiang Xi-yao’s chat. Because it had been so long since anyone told her they were waiting for her at home, she was momentarily at a loss for what to reply.
After deleting and revising for a long time, it remained “typing…”
So, she clicked on Jiang Xi-yao’s avatar, wanting to seriously re-acquaint herself with her girlfriend.
The avatar was a mass of black.
Deep and shallow black, like flowing sludge. Staring at it for too long made her dizzy, feeling as if she were about to be sucked into the mire.
Xie Shiwei couldn’t help but think of the concept of a colorful black.
Was her girlfriend an art student? Or was she simply very interested in art?
Xie Shiwei curiously clicked into her Moments.
The top post was an oil painting visible only to her.
In the painting, she saw an embarrassing torso. Whether in slumber or shyness, black hair covered the face, making it unrecognizable.
But even more striking was the sleeper’s alluring body contours. This person was actually pale pink and white, like her, with sparse to non-existent body hair, and also…
Looked incredibly well-hydrated.
Xie Shiwei was brushing her teeth, her face blushing fiercely—
Could this painting be of her?!
She spat out the foam, holding a mouthful of cold water like a squirrel with full cheek pouches.
After a long while, Xie Shiwei began to wonder how Jiang Xi-yao would paint herself in her Moments. But aside from this oil painting, the subsequent content only showed magnificent architectural scenery and exquisite, precious luxury goods.
Occasionally, a few lines of text were added.
[Image] “Ha, some clueless fool said the leather on this limited-edition bag he gave me was the highest quality he’d ever seen? Blind idiot. Highest quality leather? Just a bag? That’s all he’ll ever amount to.”
[Image] “Bad luck. Just stepped out in new clothes and was stopped by some ugly person with no taste asking for the link. Is the clothes the beautiful part? No, it’s the person wearing them, and the vision of the person who custom-made this set. Don’t tell me they think anyone can look as beautiful as me in these clothes? Seriously, check yourself.”
Wow.
Xie Shiwei recalled her girlfriend’s tempting red lips, but she hadn’t expected that beautiful mouth to be so venomous. If she kissed her girlfriend, would she die instantly from poisoning?
Truthfully, Xie Shiwei would normally be very afraid of such an aggressively intimidating person.
She hated being scolded.
But when such a formidable person became her girlfriend, she felt an inexplicable sense of security.
She didn’t know how she had summoned the courage to pursue such a powerful queen.
But she felt that everyone must think as she did—that this Jiang Xi-yao was quite adorable, right?
—Her face was already so beautiful; she was just a little sharp-tongued. Everyone should just let her have it.
Xie Shiwei quickly scanned Jiang Xi-yao’s Moments again.
The oil painting was visible only to her, showing respect for her privacy while maintaining a special intimate passion between couples. Good.
The painting and photos were beautiful, showing excellent artistic taste. Very good.
She liked high-end, expensive luxury items and showed them off openly, demonstrating that she was genuine and not pretentious. She was also straightforward and spoke her mind, very sincere. Excellent.
After summarizing, Xie Shiwei felt unbelievable.
She had managed to date such a wonderful girlfriend?! How could her girlfriend be so perfect? Didn’t she have any of the flaws a human should have?
…
Meanwhile.
At Block 10 in Xingfu District.
Jiang Xi-yao stood at the entrance, about to open the combination lock as usual, when she suddenly heard a sound.
【Damn it! I’ve been staking this place out for so long! This house is the most expensively decorated in the whole complex! And what did I find?】
【I worked my ass off to climb in here, and there’s not even a safe? I thought the clothes looked expensive, but there’s not a single tag? All knock-offs? Bad luck!】
Jiang Xi-yao raised an eyebrow.
A tasteless male trash only recognizes a price tag and can’t recognize the material. Her clothes were tailored from fabrics preserved for a century, hundreds of times more valuable than those haute couture pieces…
Looking at his eyes, they were useless anyway. Maybe she should help him pluck them out?
【Where the hell did that slut hide the money? What’s this stuff? Whoa, a box of toys. A shameless slut who craves men. If I run into her, I’ll definitely satisfy her, hehehe—】
The burglar, who had entered during the day, reached his grimy palm toward the cardboard box.
Before he could touch it, a chilling voice sounded eerily behind him:
“Dare to use that hand, which even a dung beetle would find foul, to touch anything in there?”
Jiang Xi-yao felt that this house really did need a safe.
Xie Shiwei’s collection of toys definitely needed to be locked up, lest some dirty thing sneaked in and touched them. Alcohol wouldn’t be enough to sanitize them afterward.
If that miser knew she had to throw away so many of her cherished toys, he would be devastated.
The burglar, disguised as an air conditioner repairman, froze.
He quickly turned his head: “When the hell did you get in…”
Before he could finish his sentence.
A face of unparalleled beauty was reflected in his small, rat-like eyes.
The disbelief in the man’s eyes turned into greedy covetousness and wild excitement:
“Hehe, there’s a way to heaven, but you wouldn’t take it. There’s no door to hell, but you insisted on coming through! Blame your own bad luck for coming back at this time!”
Jiang Xi-yao tilted her head: “I specifically came back at this time to send you on your way.”
She slowly curved her lips: “How about you show your gratitude for the good fortune of seeing a magnificent face like mine in three lifetimes, kneel, kowtow twice, and just go die? Make sure you die far away, so you don’t stink up the house.”
The man’s expression gradually changed: “You stinking b1tch, I’ll tear your mouth apart!”
He changed his mind.
He would shove these things into her body and then strangle her, making her beg for mercy in fear without being able to utter a single word—
The man pulled out a knife.
White blade in, red blade out. The sounds of metal repeatedly piercing human flesh made his brain increasingly excited!
Bl00d splashed onto the ceiling and the floor. He eventually lost count of how many times he had stabbed her, immersed only in the addictive motion.
The beauty lying on the floor had long since lost her breath, yet he forgot his original plan, staring obsessively at the bl00d-stained, beautiful face.
So beautiful.
So beautiful. He finally took action and wouldn’t leave empty-handed. Maybe he should take the most unique souvenir with him?
The small knife couldn’t cut through the spine, so he went to the kitchen for a cleaver. After a few loud “Thwack, Thwack” sounds of chopping large bones, he casually ripped a piece of cloth from the closet and tied this special souvenir to his waist.
He stood back on the bedroom windowsill, climbed onto the outdoor air conditioning unit platform, his face flushed with excitement, checking for stability.
Suddenly, a small, sharp object poked his back from behind.
The man instinctively turned back as he stepped out.
A headless corpse, with flesh turned outward and covered in puncture wounds, stood before him, raising its hand to poke him again.
At the same time.
The cloth tied around his waist was blown open by the wind, revealing the exquisite, smiling head inside.
On the bl00d-soaked head, the red lips opened and closed: “Thinking of stealing a couple of offerings for your poor grave that even the wild ghosts wouldn’t want? Keys are ten yuan for three. How many do you deserve? Now, why don’t you hurry up and return my mother?”
“Ahhh, ahhh—Thump!”
…
Xie Shiwei bid farewell to her friend. When she arrived back at her complex, she heard the familiar sound of an ambulance.
She was startled and bravely asked the onlookers: “D-did someone jump?”
“Nah, no. Some burglar was asking for death climbing up to the tenth floor in broad daylight. He fell and almost split into several pieces. Young lady, don’t get any closer. There’s bl00d all over the ground up front.”
Xie Shiwei breathed a massive sigh of relief at the first half.
Thank goodness it was a burglar getting what he deserved. Good. This kind of news shouldn’t affect property values! The property management could even advertise it someday, making people think the complex had good feng shui and could ward off evil!
When they mentioned the bl00d everywhere, she couldn’t help but step back several paces. “Whose house was so unlucky?”
“The one at Block 10, unit 1001, I think? I heard the owner hadn’t even opened the door, and the burglar jumped.”
Xie Shiwei: “…Uh, wait, 1001?”
Isn’t that her apartment?!
The breath she had just let out caught back in her throat, her mind in chaos. Suddenly, a figure dashed out from the edge of the crowd.
“Xie Shiwei! What took you so long to come back!”
An enchanting face was stained with two crocodile tears. Jiang Xi-yao pouted and glared at her:
“Do you know that if you had come back any later, your young and beautiful girlfriend would have been stolen by the burglar? You get her and you don’t cherish her, is that it? You just let me be ravaged—”
Xie Shiwei quickly clapped a hand over her mouth to stifle the strange dialogue.
At the same time, she nervously pulled the person up. Like the Earth revolving around the Sun, she circled Jiang Xi-yao once:
“Are you okay? Are you hurt? Were you scared? It’s a good thing you didn’t go inside. I heard people say the burglar brought a knife? How terrifying!”
Jiang Xi-yao opened her mouth, ready to sneer coldly.
Even if that dead burglar were resurrected three times, she wouldn’t be hurt. What kind of vision did this cream-puff have to question her abilities?
She only came down to see if the idiot had splattered into a pile of un-scoopable mess.
But when she met Xie Shiwei’s deeply worried eyes, her gaze shifted again, and she leaned back against her:
“I was scared. Of course I was scared. I was scared to death. Quickly feel my heart. It’s still pounding right now.”
Xie Shiwei was like a scholar seduced by a fox spirit. Her eyes frantically moved away, and her hand desperately tried to pull away.
“L-let’s feel it at home. No, no, let’s look at it at home! Let’s look at it at home!”
Jiang Xi-yao let her pull her forward, leisurely rolling her eyes behind her.
Feigning decency.
That dead cream-puff, the moment she first saw her cleavage, she was already fantasizing about “goodnight milk” before bed and making “ginger-fermented milk curd.” Why was she acting so innocent now?
Xie Shiwei, walking ahead, began to worry about the apartment after confirming her girlfriend was safe and sound.
Upon returning to see the messy living room and bedroom, she couldn’t help but grumble as she started cleaning:
“That hateful burglar… I’m glad I didn’t have any money for him to steal! I hope he doesn’t sue us if he died, right? I hope he’s half-dead, thank you. Making such a mess of my house is truly rotten luck!”
Jiang Xi-yao listened to her harmless curses, watching her limp around cleaning, and couldn’t resist pulling her into a hug.
“Don’t run around. Sit here and don’t move.”
Xie Shiwei sat on her soft lap, feeling the cool black hair cascading down her neck and collar as the other woman pressed her head into her shoulder. She endured it for a moment, then couldn’t help but gently push her girlfriend away, wincing:
“I can’t. The house is such a mess. I have to clean it up, right? …It wasn’t you who used to clean it, was it?”
Xie Shiwei looked at her pampered girlfriend, trying to imagine her doing housework.
Jiang Xi-yao choked.
How could she possibly do such tedious and boring things?
But if she didn’t do it, Xie Shiwei, who was using her injured leg, would have to do it.
She hugged the girl’s waist tighter, sulking: “You are absolutely not allowed to do it!”
“I’ll figure something out. I’ll hire someone to clean, okay? You sit still for me. Your girlfriend was scared by an ugly burglar. Shouldn’t you be trying to comfort me? Hurry up and comfort me!”
Xie Shiwei let out a faint “Hiss.”
The hug was too tight and was pressing into her chest.
She had already felt uncomfortable, sore, swollen, and achy when she put on her bra today.
But that wasn’t just the consequence of their playful time in the bathroom last night.
Because when she took off her clothes for the shower yesterday, she had already noticed the lingering oddity on her body.
She didn’t often touch the upper part of her body when entertaining herself, so this could only be… the marks left during her relationship with Jiang Xi-yao.
Now being squeezed again, Xie Shiwei felt a slight strain and stuffiness. She desperately wanted to shed the restraint and get some air.
Jiang Xi-yao heard all of her quiet thoughts perfectly clearly.
The embrace paused. The woman raised her black and white, childlike eyes, looking up from below:
“I heard that milk contains amino acids that can not only aid sleep but also calm the nerves.”
Xie Shiwei, preoccupied with the pain on her body, answered distractedly: “Do we have any at home? If not, I’ll go buy some.”
At this point, she not only felt uncomfortable in the embrace but also began to squirm restlessly.
The denim fabric of her jeans felt too stiff, and the fit was a bit tight. She had also cleaned for too long in the bathroom last night, and now it was vaguely starting to hurt.
Jiang Xi-yao answered slowly: “Yes, we do. We always have.”
“I don’t remember. Where is it? I’ll go get it for you.”
After saying this, Xie Shiwei looked at her eyes, and regret started to churn in her heart.
A few minutes later.
Xie Shiwei looked at the bright sunlight outside the living room window, struggling to escape: “…Can we go into the bedroom?”
The black-haired beauty wrapped one arm around her lower back, and her pale fingertip lifted a piece of the girl’s top, pressing it to her pink lips:
“Hold it. Don’t let go.”
Xie Shiwei wanted to shake her head, but her lips obediently took the fabric into her mouth.
“How strange. Why does my body always listen to my girlfriend more than I do? What did we even do every day when we were dating? Look what she’s turned me into!”
As she complained internally, she was suddenly startled by the cool softness of the lips pressed against her, trembling lightly.
A short sound escaped her throat: “Ngh.”
“A little cold? Is the temperature inside my girlfriend’s mouth naturally low? Or is the swelling on my body too severe and the temperature too high? What is this? Is this the legendary dual-layered experience of ice and fire?”
Thinking this, she couldn’t help but shift her butt, growing even more restless.
But the sound from Xie Shiwei’s mouth was a muffled plea:
“Please, please don’t bite here, okay? I have to go back to school tomorrow. I’ll be sitting in class all day…”
Before she could finish her sentence.
A sound, close to a sigh and yet like a cry, escaped the girl’s throat!
Jiang Xi-yao not only bit but also used her sharp teeth to meticulously gnaw at that flesh.
Like a food critic, she slowly chewed the food in her mouth to judge the layers of flavor.
A sound of “tsk, tsk” echoed with relish in the living room.
Xie Shiwei threw her head back, trying to escape and raise her hands to push her away. But because the person biting her flesh wouldn’t let go, the further she moved, the more it felt like prolonged torture.
“Waaah, I’m turning into stretched-out putty.”
Crying, Xie Shiwei obediently straightened her spine, closing the distance between them again, which ironically made it look like she was actively inviting the attention.
“G-girlfriend, have m-mercy…”
Jiang Xi-yao managed to spare a moment to answer: “No mercy.”
“Then c-can we go into the b-bedroom? Please, please, the living room is so bright…”
Xie Shiwei felt that the sunlight pouring in from outside was falling right onto her lower body, scalding her with accusations of shamelessness.
Jiang Xi-yao slowly released the tender flesh from her mouth: “We can go into the room, but only if you agree to this every night from now on.”
Xie Shiwei sniffled, letting out a sigh of relief.
But she felt that one half of her body was hot and the other cold, still deeply uncomfortable.
“But… I won’t be able to sleep if we do this at night…”
Jiang Xi-yao’s tone was petulant: “I was just scared by that burglar. I can’t fall asleep without milk to calm my nerves before bed. If I can’t sleep, no one is allowed to sleep.”
After saying that, seeing the girl still hesitating, she lowered her head again.
“If you don’t agree, then we’ll just continue here—”
“I agree, I agree!”
Xie Shiwei had no choice and was finally carried into the bedroom.
As the girl’s back sank into the bed, her peripheral vision caught sight of a cleaver on the floor, its sharp blade nicked with a chip.
Her eyes subconsciously scanned the area.
Why did the burglar bring a knife into the room? What did he chop? The bed frame? Was the house short on firewood?
Before the thought could fully form, her attention was quickly diverted by Jiang Xi-yao.
“Don’t, don’t bite here again…”
Xie Shiwei raised her hands to cradle the woman’s head, her fingers threading through the silky, smooth black hair. Because the hair quality was so fine, she accidentally ran her fingers too far, touching the skin on the back of the woman’s neck.
She felt a small, patchy, uneven texture.
Like stitching, or a scar.
Thinking this, Xie Shiwei decided she would examine her girlfriend for any old scars another day.
For now, she only held the head, guiding it toward the other, long-neglected side.
Her voice was shy, hesitant, and full of yearning:
“This time, bite here, okay?”
