The Strongest Delivery Man - Chapter 9
“Please have a seat!” Seeing customers walk in, the owner immediately greeted them warmly.
“Get lost! Stop blabbering. We’re not here for barbecue!” Brother Shu shoved the owner aside and strode toward Fang Ye and Qin Yanran.
After undergoing physical enhancement, Fang Ye’s senses were far superior to an ordinary person’s. He instantly realized that these people were here for him.
A bald man propped a foot up on a stool and sneered, “Hey, beauty, my boss thinks you look quite beautiful. How about having a few drinks with him?”
“Not interested.” Qin Yanran rejected him without hesitation.
“Yo, do you even know who you’re talking to?” The bald man raised his voice. “My boss is known as Brother Shu of the three rivers. Ever heard of him?”
Seeing the aggressive group, the nearby diners quickly paid their bills and left, fearing they’d get caught up in the trouble.
About 20 to 30 meters away, the window of a Bentley slowly rolled down, revealing the face of a slick, well-groomed man.
“Young master, get ready. It’ll soon be your turn to make an appearance,” the driver said obsequiously.
“Can these guys really be trusted with the matter?” Wang Qiang asked.
“Don’t worry, young master. Brother Shu is the top thug of Three Rivers. He knows his limits and won’t harm a single hair on you,” the driver assured confidently. “Besides, their performance will be so realistic that Miss Qin won’t suspect a thing!”
“Good. Then I’ll wait.”
Meanwhile, Fang Ye sneered, “I don’t care who you are. Get lost!”
“You brat, talking to us like that? You asked for it!” The bald man grabbed an empty beer bottle and swung it toward Fang Ye’s head.
Seeing that the two parties are officially engaging in a fight, the door to an audi swung open, and a middle-aged man dressed in a black suit walked in strides towards the barbeque stall.
With his enhanced reflexes, Fang Ye easily grasped the bald man’s wrist and twisted it hard. Off balance, the bald man ended up smashing the beer bottle on Brother Shu’s head instead.
With a loud crack, Brother Shu clutched his head and collapsed.
His gang hesitated for a moment before charging at Fang Ye.
Fang Ye quickly pulled Qin Yanran behind him, picked up a folding chair, and began counterattacking. His immense strength made the chair swing like an impenetrable wall. Anyone who got hit was sent flying. Despite their numbers, the gangsters couldn’t even break his defense!
Seeing Fang Ye fighting the gang off like a one-ma
Seeing Fang Ye standing his ground like a one-man army, the middle-aged man stopped in his tracks, while the chauffeur and Wang Qiang in the Bentley were left dumbfounded.
Where did this fierce guy come from, taking on eight people at once without losing the upper hand?
After the fourth thug was knocked down, no one dared to step forward anymore. Fang Ye switched from defense to offense, swinging the folding chair as he charged forward.
No more than half a minute had passed, and all the gangster was lying on the ground, groaning in pain. Qin Yanran watched in awe.
“What a buzzkill. Let’s reschedule for another day.” Fang Ye casually tossed the chair aside. “Boss, check please! Oh, and add the cost of the broken furniture too.”
With that, the two got into Fang Ye’s Lamborghini and drove away, leaving behind a scene of chaos.
“Goddammit!” Wang Qiang punched the leather seat in frustration. “That so-called Thug of the Three Rivers got wiped out by a single folding chair? What a joke!”
“Calm down, young master. I had no idea the kid was this strong!” The driver forced a laugh. “I’ll have someone look into him. A guy who can afford a Lamborghini must be from a wealthy family.”
“I don’t care who he is. My grandfather gave me a strict order—if I don’t win Qin Yanran over this year, I’m done for!” Wang Qiang fumed. “Find out everything about him tonight! No one messes with me and gets away with it!”
“Understood, young master! I’ll handle it right away!”
As the Bentley drove off, the middle-aged man nodded thoughtfully before getting back into his car and discreetly following Fang Ye’s Lamborghini.
After dropping off Qin Yanran, Fang Ye left immediately
The middle-aged man let out a breath and instructed the driver to leave.
Fang Ye drove back to school, and the guard at the entrance opened the gate immediately.
When Fang Ye arrived at the dorm, it was empty—his three roommates had probably gone to an internet café again. He took a shower, got into bed, and soon fell asleep.
Little did he know, at that moment, the university forum was buzzing with activity.
Rich sugar mommy, freeloading boyfriend, Veneno sports car…
A string of eye-catching keywords was setting the internet on fire!
The next morning, on his way to class, Fang Ye noticed something was off. Students whispered and pointed at him, some even smirking knowingly.
“What’s going on? Did everyone find out I drive a sports car?” Fang Ye shrugged. “Oh well, fame always comes with gossip. Not like I was hiding it anyway.”
After class, as Fang Ye drove out of campus, he noticed several Mercedes-Benz vehicles entering the gate. His sharp senses picked up that someone in one of the cars was watching him.
“That’s him? Fang Ye?” A white-haired old man with sharp eyes said inside the car.
“Yes, Uncle Cheng,” the middle-aged man in the passenger seat replied respectfully. “He’s the one who took Miss Qin home.”
“A young man delivering takeout in a luxury sports car… just a flashy stunt.” The old man tapped his cane. “Let’s settle the main issue first. We’ll deal with him later.”
“Yes, Uncle Cheng!”

At a bubble tea shop, business was slow, and the owner, Xia Wei, had just ended a phone call.
“Fang Ye, there’s a rush order. Can you deliver it?”
“Got it, sis! I’ll complete the mission!”
The address wasn’t far—just a ten-minute ride on his electric scooter.
Putting on his yellow vest and helmet, he set off energetically.
But just one kilometer from the destination, an accident occurred.
An elderly woman crossing the street was sideswiped by a speeding Toyota Crown. She collapsed onto the asphalt.
The car briefly stopped, and the driver anxiously glanced around. Seeing no surveillance cameras, he sped off!
The accident happened so suddenly that only a few people were nearby, and Fang Ye who was right across the road just happened to see everything unfolds.
Without hesitation, he abandoned his scooter, leaped over the guardrail, and rushed to the injured woman.
Whether he’d be falsely accused later didn’t even cross his mind.
“Grandma, are you okay?” Fang Ye pulled out tissues to wipe the bl00d from her leg.
“I’m fine… just a leg injury. Luckily, I managed to shift my body a bit, or I might have broken all my bones…” she sighed. “Young man, thank goodness you were here. Otherwise, I’d either be run over by the next car or cooked alive under this sun! There really are good people in the world!”
“I’m just glad you’re alright. I memorized the hit-and-run car’s plate number. Shall I call your family before we report it to the police?”
Fang Ye had clearly seen the license plate when the car briefly stopped.
“Yes, please. Here’s my son’s number.” The elderly woman handed him a business card.
Ten minutes later, her son arrived, thanking Fang Ye profusely before taking down the plate number and rushing his mother to the hospital.
After parting ways, Fang Ye resumed his delivery. But due to the delay, he got an earful from the customer as well as a one-star rating.
Despite that, he felt happy—after all, he had saved a life.
As he hummed a tune and mounted his scooter, the system’s voice suddenly rang in his head.
“Congratulations, host! You have completed a special delivery! Here’s your reward, the complete ownership of Jinding Commercial Street!”
“Jinding Commercial Street? Isn’t that where the bubble tea shop is?” Fang Ye was overjoyed. “So good deeds trigger rewards too? Guess kindness really does pay off!”
Who would’ve thought a single delivery would make him the landlord of the shop owner? If Xia Wei found out, her reaction would surely be priceless.
As he parked his scooter and pushed open the shop’s glass door, he saw a man harassing Xia Wei. She struggled desperately, but as a mere woman, she was no match for him.
Just as the man was about to get his way…
