Summary
There is an abandoned meat processing plant nearby that closed down years ago.
The grounds are overgrown with grass. The windows are broken in places, and the dark interior can be seen through the gaps. It’s a place that looks like it could be the setting for a horror movie.
“Hey, do you want to check out that place over there?”
I’ve been close with Chie-chan since kindergarten, and it was last week that she, still as much of a tomboy as ever, invited me like that even though we’re now in middle school.
However, the day before our planned meeting, I got a fever and ended up bedridden.
After being bedridden for two days, I finally recovered by the day after our promised meeting and went to school.
