The Top Omega Girlfriend of a Useless Alpha - Chapter 10
Song Feiyu assumed Gu Yi was delirious from her Heat, spouting nonsense. Little did she know that the young flight academy cadet she had taken under her wing out of pity was none other than Gu Yi, who had impersonated her Eldest Sister. Gu Yi and her Eldest Sister were half-siblings, sharing only one parent, which explained their dissimilar appearances.
No wonder Song Feiyu hadn’t recognized her.
“No,” Song Feiyu said sternly, still refusing Gu Yi’s absurd proposal.
“Open it. Smell it,” Gu Yi insisted, still retaining some strength. She gripped Song Feiyu’s wrist, forcing her to look at the purple glass vial in her palm.
Song Feiyu hesitated.
But the footsteps overhead grew louder, signaling that someone had discovered their location.
Because someone was inside the bunker, even entering the passcode again wouldn’t open the door.
Unless the person inside consented to let the outsider in.
Time was running out. Though she didn’t understand why Gu Yi needed Artificial Pheromone, Song Feiyu decided to smell it first. The moment the glass lid was opened, she inhaled a Lavender Pheromone almost identical to her own—the exact scent her glands had emitted before they were destroyed.
“How is this possible…?”
Song Feiyu froze, unable to believe what she was seeing.
“Everyone has a pheromone sample stored in the gene bank, Song Feiyu. Of course, you have one too.”
Gu Yi took Song Feiyu’s hand and pressed the purple glass vial against her own scent gland.
The intense, pungent aroma of lavender flooded the bunker, almost suffocating, as if all the air had been sucked from their lungs.
A flush began to creep across Gu Yi’s face.
Her scent gland had already absorbed the Lavender Pheromone—a perfect replica of Song Feiyu’s pheromone, which she had ordered to be artificially created.
Gu Yi embraced Song Feiyu, and while the Captain was still stunned, her fingers deftly loosened the other woman’s tie.
Before she could take further action, the bunker door was forced open.
Soldiers wielding laser cutters stood at the entrance, the overwhelming lavender scent jolting them backward.
This intense, terrifying aura could only belong to a Top Alpha!
Song Feiyu was not a Top Alpha; her position as Captain was solely due to her own capabilities.
But Gu Yi had ulterior motives. When she commissioned the perfect replica of Song Feiyu’s pheromone, she specifically instructed the professor to enhance it to Top Alpha level.
Only a Top Alpha could completely mark a Top Omega.
Such a mark could never be washed away.
This was the only way to prevent her father from forcing her to marry someone else.
Gu Yi’s entire future now depended on Song Feiyu.
But she didn’t mind. Song Feiyu wasn’t the domineering type; who would wear the pants in their relationship remained to be seen.
In public, Song Feiyu would be the Alpha, but at home, she’d be the Omega.
Gu Yi, on the other hand, would be the opposite. Wouldn’t that be perfect?
For a moment, everyone was paralyzed by the overwhelming Lavender Pheromone, daring not to advance. Only Huo Bing, who had rushed to the scene, angrily demanded, “What’s going on? You found her, but you haven’t brought her here yet!”
As soon as he finished speaking, he too caught the intense Lavender scent.
Huo Bing froze, his tobacco pheromone instinctively rising to counter the oppressive aura.
“Third Miss… she’s already been marked,” one of his subordinates approached, his voice heavy with disappointment.
“Damn it! Are you all useless?” Huo Bing roared, grabbing the man by the collar. “I gave you a whole day to find her!”
But now he had to face reality: Gu Yi was already taken.
And by some obscure nobody.
Sure, he was a top-tier Alpha, but his low birth made him utterly useless.
In Huo Bing’s eyes, this was akin to the boss’s daughter marrying a commoner.
How could he possibly accept such a thing?
Gu Yi had lost her mind, her entire being in a daze. The bottle of pheromones had been poured directly onto her glands—a dose that even an Alpha might struggle to withstand, let alone an Omega.
Song Feiyu carried Gu Yi out of the bunker, instantly drawing countless, indescribable emotions from the crowd: envy, jealousy, hatred…
“Get her to a hospital first,” Huo Bing said, his face cold as he reached for his terminal to call Gu Yi’s father.
Gu Yi forced her eyes open to look at him. “This was my decision alone. Don’t blame Song Feiyu…”
Song Feiyu was about to speak up, to suggest that since it was Artificial Pheromone, there might be alternative treatments to break Gu Yi’s dependence on it.
But then Gu Yi pinched her arm sharply.
“Gu Yi…” Song Feiyu looked at her, but Gu Yi shook her head.
Gu Yi raised her arms and wrapped them tightly around Song Feiyu. “Don’t feel guilty. This wasn’t your fault. It was my choice.”
As if to atone for her earlier reckless act, Gu Yi lowered her head and gently kissed Song Feiyu’s cheek under the watchful eyes of everyone present.
“Besides,” she added, “you’re the one I marked.”
Amidst the envious, murderous glares of the crowd, Gu Yi smirked triumphantly. Song Feiyu was hers now, completely and utterly.
The teacup in Gu Xuanyu’s hand shattered with a sharp crack. His eyes widened in shock as he stared at Huo Bing’s holographic projection.
It took him a long moment to regain his composure.
“You said… what did you just say?” Gu Xuanyu asked, as if he hadn’t heard clearly, unable to believe it.
“I said… I said… the Third Miss has already been… marked,” Huo Bing stammered, wishing he could bury his head in the ground.
“Huo Bing, you know how highly I’ve always valued you. You’ve truly disappointed me now,” Gu Xuanyu said with a forced smile before abruptly ending the call.
The moment the connection severed, the teacup was no longer the only casualty. He overturned the entire tea table in front of him.
“Who is Song Feiyu?!”
“I’ll kill her! That damned Alpha!”
Gu Xuanyu was born into one of the Empire’s most powerful noble families. As the only son, he had been showered with affection since childhood.
But… every privilege came with a price.
Gu Xuanyu was forced to marry a woman he didn’t love and fathered two children he didn’t particularly care for, despite their being top-tier Alphas.
But what did that matter?
Gu Xuanyu treated his wife merely as a beautiful object until she succumbed to depression and passed away.
Only then did he dare bring the person he truly loved into his home. However, perhaps as divine retribution for his faithlessness, his new wife died just two years later, leaving behind an infant daughter.
That daughter was Gu Yi.
Gu Xuanyu showered Gu Yi with a favoritism his other children never received. From birth, she had everything she desired, and he raised her to be the most exceptional Omega in the world.
Even when selecting a husband, he planned to choose a live-in Alpha who would obey only Gu Yi’s commands.
But now?
She had been abducted by an Alpha of unknown origins. How could he not be furious? How could he possibly not be furious?!
