The Top Omega Girlfriend of a Useless Alpha - Chapter 18
For the first time, Song Feiyu felt like a country bumpkin awestruck by the city. Though she had once been an Honorary Captain, even her private quarters on the flagship hadn’t offered such luxury.
After setting aside her clothes, Song Feiyu sank completely into the water. The warm water soothed her injured joints, bringing immediate relief.
One section of the pool was equipped with massage jets. Song Feiyu reclined against them, closing her eyes in bliss.
Remembering she needed to wait for Gu Yi, she sent a message through her terminal.
The moment the message was sent, a knock sounded at the door.
That was quick, Song Feiyu thought, puzzled.
Still, she tilted her head back and called out, “Come in.”
The door swung open, but the figure who entered wasn’t who she expected. Instead, a stunningly beautiful woman with golden hair, blue eyes, and long, slender legs stood before her.
The woman looked like a high-end model from the Empire’s advertisements.
What’s going on here?
Terrified, Song Feiyu instantly ducked underwater, leaving only her nose and eyes visible.
“Instructor Song~” the woman cooed softly, but Song Feiyu nearly jumped out of her skin.
She couldn’t make sense of this. Was this another one of Gu Yi’s schemes? A test of her loyalty?
“Get out of here!” Song Feiyu ducked behind a statue, clutching her chest. The woman was a high-quality Omega, her potent pheromones overwhelming Song Feiyu’s senses.
To make matters worse, Song Feiyu had removed her gland patches for her bath, inadvertently releasing a faint lavender scent.
Clinging tightly to the marble statue, Song Feiyu hid behind it, desperately trying to keep the woman away.
But the woman ignored her plea, diving straight into the water. Song Feiyu could only scramble to another statue, looking as pathetic as a puppy pelted with stones.
Yet there was no escape.
Her arm was seized.
“You called for me. Why are you hiding now?” The woman’s emerald eyes held genuine confusion.
Song Feiyu closed her eyes, refusing to meet her gaze.
“I didn’t call for you. I’m waiting for someone else.”
She spoke the truth. She was waiting for Gu Yi, desperately hoping the cunning woman would arrive soon. Otherwise, she feared she would be devoured.
“Waiting for whom?”
The woman’s fingers pinched Song Feiyu’s chin, her intense pheromones drilling into Song Feiyu’s nostrils.
Song Feiyu swatted the woman’s hand away, ready to flee, but her left leg suddenly buckled, sending her tumbling clumsily into the water.
This nearly choked her to death.
Just as she was about to be seized, Gu Yi finally emerged from the secret passage.
She surveyed the chaotic scene, her eyes burning with suppressed fury.
“What do you think you’re doing? Get out!”
The woman turned, her face twisted with disdain as she glared at Gu Yi.
“Who are you? Interrupting our fun.”
Gu Yi nearly laughed in exasperation. She stepped closer, her feet landing firmly on the water’s edge.
“You’re trespassing on Gu Family territory. Don’t you know who I am?”
The woman shook her head.
“All I know is that Instructor Song invited me here.”
Her gaze shifted to Song Feiyu, and a cunning glint sparked in her eyes. She released a potent burst of pheromones—an overwhelmingly sweet floral scent.
Gu Yi, being an Omega, remained unaffected. But Song Feiyu, an Alpha with deficient pheromone production, was immediately overwhelmed. Her face flushed crimson, and she collapsed weakly against the water’s edge, gasping for breath.
Gu Yi caught a faint whiff of lavender. She glared at the insolent woman.
The Jasmine Scent surged forth, saturating the entire bathhouse.
“This is my Alpha,” Gu Yi declared, her gaze fixed on the woman, radiating a dangerous aura.
“I think I know who sent you. Was it Ji Ham?”
The woman’s face paled, shocked that her origins had been so easily guessed.
“Trying to steal my Alpha? Don’t you know your place?” Gu Yi’s pheromones intensified, instantly draining the color from the woman’s once-rosy complexion.
People only saw the pheromone repulsion between Alphas, unaware that Omegas also experienced pheromone rejection.
Unlike the passive repulsion between Alphas, this was an active rejection.
The woman finally retreated, her regret palpable.
Such a beautiful Alpha, she thought. Just a casual fling, no marking involved, shouldn’t be a problem.
Gu Yi had no intention of pursuing this woman. After all, she was merely an unwitting pawn. The real punishment should be reserved for the puppeteer behind the scenes.
Ji Ham never acted without his father’s orders.
Gu Yi could figure out who orchestrated this with her eyes closed.
But she couldn’t openly defy her father yet. For now, she would have to endure.
Gu Yi slipped into the hot water and reached out to steady Song Feiyu.
“Song Feiyu, are you alright?”
I’m only a little late, and something already happened to her. It’s infuriating.
If Gu Yi hadn’t harbored ulterior motives and secretly slipped into Song Feiyu’s room through the hidden passage, her father’s plan would have been halfway to success. Gu Yi didn’t dare dwell on this thought, instead tightening her embrace around Song Feiyu’s shoulders.
Thank goodness, thank goodness I came.
Song Feiyu opened her eyes and gazed at the person before her, an overwhelming longing surging through her chest. She reached out and grasped Gu Yi’s arm, instinctively pressing her forehead against Gu Yi’s.
Before Gu Yi could react, Song Feiyu’s lips were already kissing hers.
In the misty steam, their features softened, droplets of water sliding down their chins and dripping onto their shoulders.
Gu Yi realized Song Feiyu must have been recently stimulated by the woman’s pheromones. She began to slowly release her own Jasmine Scent, attempting to soothe Song Feiyu.
After an indeterminate amount of time, Song Feiyu’s eyes gradually cleared.
She looked at Gu Yi, whom she had pinned against the edge of the pool, her mind clearing. Noticing Gu Yi’s slightly reddened lips, she understood everything.
“I didn’t mean to…”
“I was just… just recently…”
It had been many years since Song Feiyu had felt so completely overwhelmed by her emotions.
Ever since her glands were damaged, her heats had become infrequent, and she hadn’t needed suppressants in years.
So, when this strange sensation took hold of her for the first time, she had no resistance whatsoever.
Song Feiyu bit her lip, her eyes filled with self-reproach.
“It’s okay,” Gu Yi said, reaching out to embrace her. Her arm slowly traced the curve of Song Feiyu’s slender back, feeling the gentle rise of her spine.
“I told you long ago that we’re already together.”
“It’s fine if you’re a little rough with me.”
Gu Yi had always carried Song Feiyu in her heart. No matter how serious the situation, no matter how much Song Feiyu might hurt her, she would always forgive her.
What else could she do? The infatuation of her youth had become an eternal devotion.
Song Feiyu still felt uneasy. As an Alpha, once her desires were aroused, they were difficult to suppress.
She needed a suppressant.
Just as she was thinking about getting out of the bath to find someone for one, Gu Yi’s fingertip pressed against the gland on the back of her neck.
“Uncomfortable?”
“Do you want me to help you?”
Her voice was soft, laced with a hint of seduction.
