The Top Omega Girlfriend of a Useless Alpha - Chapter 53
The hotel room door had been rung for the third time. Song Feiyu glanced at the figure sleeping soundly beside her on the pillow and picked up the clothes scattered on the carpet.
She slowly draped them on, assuming it was a hotel employee with some matter to attend to. After briefly smoothing her disheveled hair, she opened the door.
“What is it? Knocking so early is disturbing my rest.”
Before Song Feiyu could finish speaking, she sensed the person standing before her was suppressing anger. The atmosphere felt distinctly off.
Slowly, she raised her gaze and met a pair of clear eyes, the hidden fury within them unmistakable.
“Captain.”
“You missed the meeting.”
Though Liu Zhuochen spoke with a smile, her fingers gripped the seams of her trousers tightly.
Her gaze drifted casually up and down, noticing a faint red mark on Song Feiyu’s cheek, its shape vaguely resembling the outline of lips. The curled hair, further tousled from rolling on the pillow, looked even more voluminous.
Lowering her gaze, she saw the neck covered in marks, the collarbones bearing the heaviest concentration.
This is truly…
Liu Zhuochen pondered for a long while before finally recalling the phrase “lost in beauty.”
The former instructor had never been like this. He always woke up early, a white whistle hanging around his neck, standing at the edge of the training ground’s sandy terrain.
His gaze swept over each trainee, his expression utterly serious.
If anyone’s movements were imprecise, he would immediately step forward to correct them.
How could such a diligent and responsible figure be the same person who had now missed the meeting?
“Ah~”
Song Feiyu slapped her forehead.
She suddenly remembered signing a meeting document.
She had assumed she could quickly attend and return, but she had completely forgotten about the meeting altogether.
“I drank too much,” Song Feiyu explained. However, given her high alcohol tolerance, how could a single drink have made her so drunk? It wasn’t the alcohol; it was the person who had consumed it.
“You’ve been misled. I think we should take Miss Gu back as soon as possible,” Liu Zhuochen urged, taking a deep breath.
Song Feiyu shook her head.
“No Alpha would willingly leave her Omega.”
“But…”
Liu Zhuochen was about to speak again.
“Zhuo Chen, you don’t understand. I came here for Gu Yi.”
“Why?”
Liu Zhuochen stared into Song Feiyu’s eyes, her gaze filled with incomprehension.
“Have you ever loved someone?” Song Feiyu asked softly, her smile as pure and gentle as a white lotus blooming in summer.
“If you had, you’d understand this feeling.”
Song Feiyu straightened her collar.
“I’ll apologize for the meeting, but don’t bring up anything else. I’ll devote all my efforts to eradicating the Interstellar Wanderers.”
“You don’t need to worry about me.”
Liu Zhuochen opened her mouth, but no words came out. How could she not understand this feeling? She felt it every moment of every day.
But she was also an Alpha.
She hadn’t had the courage to love her Instructor back then, so she had buried that love deep in her heart, packing the soil down tightly with a shovel, afraid to dig it up.
After a brief discussion, Song Feiyu closed the door and returned.
She brushed her teeth and washed her face, gazing at her reflection in the mirror as she carefully smoothed down her tousled hair with a comb until she was satisfied.
Afterward, she picked up the casual clothes she had worn as a disguise earlier, gave them a quick iron, and put them on.
“Gu Yi,” Song Feiyu called softly, walking back to the bedside.
“I’m sleepy…” Gu Yi mumbled in response, pulling the blanket over her head and drifting back to sleep.
“Time to get up,” Song Feiyu sighed, tugging the blanket down with a gentle but firm pull.
Gu Yi lay exposed, her clothes disheveled, her shirt rolled up to reveal her pale, smooth abdomen. Song Feiyu quickly reached down to pull the shirt down, covering her stomach.
“What time is it?” Gu Yi asked, blinking groggily at the bright daylight streaming through the window and the lush greenery outside.
She was in no better shape than Song Feiyu; the Alpha’s subconscious actions had left her neck and gland area a ravaged mess.
“Almost noon. We need to head back.”
“Mm,” Gu Yi nodded, pushing herself up.
But she nearly stumbled, saved only by Song Feiyu’s quick reflexes.
“You’re really…” Song Feiyu trailed off, unable to find the right words. If this were one of her cadets, she’d have given them a severe dressing-down. But this was her Omega.
“How can you be so careless?” Song Feiyu steadied her with a firm grip on her arm.
“My legs ache,” Gu Yi whined, looking up with a pout. She reached out and pinched Song Feiyu’s earlobe hard. “And it’s all your fault,” she added through gritted teeth.
On the Empire’s border, over a dozen massive, dark warships loomed in space.
“Boss, our informant has sent a message.”
An Imperial Citizen in a light blue uniform held an urgent letter. The envelope was encased in iron and sealed with the highest-level Genetic Code encryption, requiring the recipient’s bl00d for decryption.
“What’s the message?”
A hulking figure sat in a chair, his muscular frame starkly contrasting with his hairless head and pointed, elf-like ears. He reached out and pressed his finger against the envelope.
A sharp spike pierced his fingertip, drawing bl00d.
“Genetic Code verified.”
After unlocking the seal, the man handed the letter to the Imperial Citizen.
“Read it aloud.”
“The Empire’s Second Prince has been publicly declaring his intention to wipe us out on all news channels.”
The Imperial Citizen adjusted his glasses.
“Song Feiyu has already been dispatched, accompanied by the Third Miss Gu.”
The hulking figure burst into laughter.
“Song Feiyu? Some greenhorn I’ve never even heard of. But why is Third Miss Gu coming? Is she trying to follow in her elder sister’s footsteps, earn some glory, and climb the ranks?”
“Song Feiyu is Song Yin.”
The Imperial Citizen’s eyebrows shot up in surprise as he read the final reminder at the end of the letter.
But someone was even more astonished than he was.
The burly man, for some unknown reason, slipped on the floor and collapsed back into his seat.
“What did you say?”
“Isn’t Song Yin already dead?!”
“She’s alive, just living under an assumed name.”
After finishing the letter, the Imperial Citizen took it out and flipped it over, confirming there was no further information.
He then said slowly, “Damn it! This guy can actually hold his own against Sisfen.”
The burly man cursed under his breath.
With their meager equipment, they could bully small planets, but they wouldn’t dare face a Zerg general.
“No, no… I need to prepare,” the man said urgently, pacing back and forth.
“Send a message to the other Interstellar Wanderers. Tell them we’ve struck gold this time—we’ve got Sun Metal.”
The Imperial Citizen frowned, disapproval evident.
“Boss, isn’t it wrong to deceive people like this?”
“What’s wrong with it?”
“I’m not lying. There is Sun Metal—it’s just on Song Yin’s fleet. If they’re capable, they can take it for themselves.”
