- If There’s a Naked Beauty, Of Course I’m Gonna Look
There stood a beautiful naked woman with black hair and neatly trimmed bangs.
Countless black particles spun in a circular orbit around her.
In an instant, the particles gathered and formed a black dress.
Twisted horns grew from both sides of her head, white wings appeared on her smooth, bare back, and a white tail sprouted from her rear.
—Her long eyelashes fluttered as her eyes opened.
Abiros had just removed his mouth from my neck. He stared in shock.
“Horns…!? Are you… are you a high-ranking demon!? Even I don’t have horns! Why does someone weaker than me rank above me!?”
“Y-you hurt my friends… I-I… I won’t forgive youuuu!”
“Answer me!!”
For the first time, panic was clearly visible on Abiros’ face.
His entire focus was on Zain. It was to the point where he forgot I was even there.
Thrown aside, I mustered all my strength and grabbed Abiros’ ankle with my right hand.
“You!? Let go!”
“You sure are flustered. Are you that scared of Zain?”
“What are you—GUAH!?”
Zain appeared in a flash and slammed a punch straight into Abiros’ face.
Her long black hair shimmered as it swung.
Whether she had increased her penetration power or not, her rapid blows continued to drive Abiros back. Each one landed with devastating force.
“Why!? I’m weaker than before! The damage I’m taking has increased too!?”
“Y-y-y-you’re debuuuuuuffed!!”
Of course. I directly wrote a full debuff sigil onto him.
Right now, in every aspect, he’s inferior to Zain.
“I need to retreat—”
“I’m not letting youuuuu!”
“W-what!?”
As Abiros tried to fly backward using his wings, Zain reached out and grabbed his foot.
She yanked him back and drove her right fist deep into his solar plexus.
“GUWAH!?”
He slammed into the ground and bounced.
Midair, another kick landed in his gut. It sent him crashing back-first into a rock.
“This… this can’t be… I must flee…”
“And where do you think you’re going?”
“Eep—”
As he crawled to escape, Felice stood in his path.
Her eyes were terrifyingly cold. It was as if her very body exuded an icy aura.
“Did Lux’s bl00d taste good?”
“T-teleport…”
“I won’t let you.”
Felice’s sword swing cleanly severed both of his wings.
The searing pain disrupted his teleportation chant. And Abiros screamed in agony.
The magic sword pulsed with red light.
Flames burst out violently. A hot wind was lifting the sand around her.
Felice’s flames now burned with an intense red far beyond what they had before—it looked less like they came from her sword and more like they were erupting from her entire being.
“HIIIIIIIIII!”
Turning his back, Abiros tried to run.
But just as he looked forward, Zain’s foot delivered a sharp, graceful spin-kick to his chin.
Still, as soon as he hit the ground, he quickly sprang up. He was desperate to escape the battlefield.
Waiting in front of him, however, was Felice. Her sword was at the ready.
“—Blazing Flame Dance!”
Blow after blow rained down.
His right arm was severed, deep gashes tore into his torso. And finally, the blade pierced his chest.
From the sword, a beam of heat shot through him. It was scorching his body.
“This can’t be! I—AAAGGGHHHHHH!!”
He screamed as flames erupted from his eyes and mouth.
Abiros, now charred black, collapsed onto the ground.
“L-Lux!!”
“My consciousness is fading. Please heal me.”
Zain used holy magic on me.
My wounds closed up immediately. It left no trace.
Still, I’d lost too much bl00d. As I stood with Zain’s support, I felt dizzy.
“You okayyy?”
“I’m fine. Wait, you were a girl? You’re ridiculously beautiful—you didn’t need to hide it.”
“P-people, humans… hate demons. I-I was scared. S-so… I kept it secret…”
“If you just hid your horns, wings, and tail, wouldn’t that be enough…?”
“?”
I almost said “like Abiros did” but swallowed the words.
Looking at her blinking and tilting her head, I felt like… this wasn’t worth pointing out.
“Are you alright!? Are you hurt!?”
“Zain healed me, so I’m fine. Just a little lightheaded.”
Felice, looking worried, touched my body to check.
Once she confirmed I had no injuries, she sighed in relief—then looked over at Zain and froze.
“Zain-san… right? You’re a woman!? Ah—sorry! I didn’t mean ‘unexpected’ or anything!”
“That’s the natural reaction. I mean, going from *that* to *this*…”
Zain’s true form was unbelievably beautiful.
Neatly trimmed bangs, wide eyes, and smooth, flowing jet-black hair that shined without a hint of frizz.
Her black dress suited her perfectly—a graceful, elegant design that exuded sophistication.
“Where’d you get that dress?”
“M-magic tool… c-c-can… change shape…”
Huh. That’s handy.
So the black outfit she usually wore is the same thing?
“Does it maybe suppress your power? You got stronger when the belt came off.”
“N-no. I… I got super mad… a-a-and ended up naked by accident…”
“Accident, huh. Guess the belt *was* in the way, huh?”
“?”
*Hack, cough!*
Abiros, now a charred mess, coughed weakly.
Felice and I were shocked.
After *all that*, he was still alive.
Damn demons and their absurd vitality.
Zain handed me off to Felice and walked alone toward Abiros.
“…I remember now. A white-winged demon. I once heard that Duke Azabel had a daughter like that. A cursed child—born a demon, but with holy magic.”
“I-I’ll… take your power…”
“Go right ahead. That’s the fate of the defeated.”
Zain plunged her arm into Abiros’ chest.
What she pulled out was a still-beating heart.
And she—gulped it down in one bite.
“H-hey!?”
“D-demons… have high regeneration… u-unless the heart is destroyed, they revive. But among demons, you can… t-take their power. So this was the safest method…”
“So you can now use Abiros’ dark magic?”
“N-no. Only… magical power and physical strength…”
So basically, not much has changed.
As I looked at Zain, she suddenly looked away. Her face was blushing deep red.
Then she covered her face with both hands.
“S-stop staring… I-I’m ugly…”
““Eh?””
*Fshhhh.*
The dress unraveled like a ribbon and covered her entire body.
In the next instant, she returned to her usual appearance.
“She has no idea, huh.”
“Yeah… what a waste.”
“??”
Zain looked completely puzzled.
