The Villainess Wants to Indulge in 'Moe' to Her Heart's Content! - Episode 1.7
The game employed a multi-ending system, where the protagonist’s choices and relationship levels with each love interest determined the outcome.
There were originally six romanceable characters, with the sequel set to increase that number to ten.
What set this otome game apart from others was that its love interests were all princes and their retainers from six different nations. This meant that not only did they have entirely different lifestyles, but the number of supporting characters was also significantly larger. Additionally, there were as many rival villainesses as there were love interests.
Letizia von Ahrensmeyer appeared in Prince Licht Julius Strahl’s route.
She was his fiancée—
—destined to become the Empress of the Strahl Empire.
In terms of the game’s portrayal, she fit the classic villainous noblewoman archetype: golden ringlets, sapphire-blue eyes, and an aura of absolute elegance.
However, she wasn’t a stereotypical arrogant and vindictive villainess. True, her pride was Everest-level, but rather than being haughty or cruel, she was more strictly bound by hierarchy, tradition, and decorum.
Because of this inflexibility, she disapproved of the protagonist’s unconventional actions and openly reprimanded her for stepping outside societal norms. She also refused to acknowledge the growing relationship between the heroine and Prince Licht, seeing it as an unacceptable breach of class boundaries—going so far as to try to separate them.
That, inevitably, led to her downfall.
(But calling her a villain…?)
Even thinking about herself objectively, Letizia found it hard to label her actions as truly malicious.
She had never found joy in bullying, mocking, or looking down on others.
Even when she disliked something, she had never resorted to harassment or violence as a means of retaliation.
Rigid? Sure, she could admit that.
From the moment she became aware of the world around her, she had been raised as a duke’s daughter and as a potential fiancée to Prince Licht. She had been taught—no, demanded—to always be worthy of that role.
(Yes… A candidate. In the beginning, I was just one of many candidates…)
Her strict upbringing had only intensified her desperate need to be the best—to secure her position as the chosen fiancée.
She had worked tirelessly to refine herself—
To be the most beautiful, the most noble, the most intelligent, the most dignified, the most righteous, the most steadfast—
—to be the perfect duke’s daughter.
All to meet her parents’ expectations—
All to be recognized by Their Majesties and by Prince Licht himself.
“……”
Letizia let out a quiet breath, still staring at her reflection.
It was only because of her reawakened past-life memories that she could now view herself with such detachment.
She was no longer the same woman as before.
In her past life, she had been an otaku through and through—a woman in her thirties, single, and devoted to manga, light novels, anime, and otome games. She had poured her heart into fan creations, hiding her obsession from the world.
Now, she was entirely different.
Her age, her personality, her status—even the world she lived in.
And when all of those things changed—of course, her perspective on life would, too.
