The Villainous Son Loves His Mother - Chapter 48
â—†
I lay quietly in bed, nearly crushed by Feri, who was sleeping beside me.
Feri was here as my “guardian,” apparently.
But even if a guardian was necessary, why did she have to sleep with me?
When I asked Feri about this, she replied,
“I apologize, Young Master. While this is the Madam’s command, she did not explain her intentions.”
In the end, I remained clueless.
My mother had ordered me to stay put… even though my injuries had honestly already healed.
I can’t use healing magic, but I can do something similar.
I had learned it from a rare book that expounded the “Particle Theory”—the revolutionary idea that “all things are composed of particles.”
The author was Francis Sera Ambloom.
He was a lower-ranking noble of the Gaines Empire who had published numerous works on magic.
Unfortunately, within the empire, his ideas were dismissed as the ramblings of a madman.
Yet, I sensed something profound in the visionary concepts he had conceived.
If the essence of magic truly lies in manipulating these fundamental particles… then our conventional understanding of how to wield magical power might need to be completely overturned.
Driven by this conviction, I dedicated myself to rigorous training, and now I’ve achieved a certain level of proficiency.
One of my accomplishments is something akin to healing magic.
While traditional healing magic channels magical power into the target to repair damage, my method focuses on mentally visualizing the “disrupted arrangement of particles” being restored to their proper configuration.
Perhaps it could be described as a form of reconstruction.
My practice partner was none other than Feri, the slave I had purchased.
When I acquired her, she was missing all four limbs.
Feri was missing not only her limbs but also parts of her tongue and ears—she was simply riddled with deficiencies.
In conclusion, I used the power of elixir and other things to restore Feri to his original state.
If all things are made of “particles,” then deficiencies shouldn’t matter. Missing particles can simply be replaced with others.
For me, it was merely a good opportunity to acquire new skills. But Feri seems deeply grateful for what I did, and I can’t help but think she’s quite a virtuous soul.

The Young Master’s breath brushes against my chest.
Every time I feel that way, I want to embrace him.
But I can’t.
If he ordered me to, I would gladly obey—and I would wish for even more.
The Young Master is everything to me.
Once, I had no limbs and couldn’t speak.
Worse still, I had lost my ears, the very symbol of my tribe’s pride.
Human men did this to me.
They raided my village, captured us… and then.
And then.
I still think about it sometimes.
What they did to me.
They severed my limbs as I wept and screamed, turning my body into a literal toy.
One of them even crafted my arms and legs into decorative pieces, displaying them in his home.
At first, I refused to submit to such monsters, but as their “training” progressed, my spirit crumbled, and eventually, I lost all emotion.
Perhaps they grew tired of using me, or perhaps they simply didn’t need me anymore, but the men sold me.
At the time, I didn’t care, but now I believe it was my destiny.
Those days held meaning.
To meet the Young Master and have the good fortune to serve by his side, I had to endure such hardship.
The Young Master once said to me:
“Everything must be in balance. The reason I love my mother is because she loves me. I had a father named Damian, but that man tried to kill me when I was just born. My mother shielded me with her own body. Back then, she stood no chance against Damian’s power, yet she risked her only life to protect mine. I must repay that love with my entire existence. And Feri, the same goes for you. It’s natural for you to strive to be useful to me, but never forget that bl00d must be repaid with bl00d. Even after regaining your limbs, you may not be able to move them fully yet, but once your mobility returns, you must go. Go to those who did this to you and settle the score. Only then will your life truly begin.”
I did as he said.
Alas, I still haven’t proven myself worthy of the Young Master.
If he were to ask anything of me, I would do it without hesitation.
I have already received permission from Madam.
She said it would be a cause for celebration if the Young Master took an interest in another woman.
But that doesn’t mean he should seek my pity—that would be utterly shameless.
Please, Young Master…
Command Feri to do anything.
Even if it means eliminating someone who displeases you.
Even if it means offering my body.
Let me be of use to you, Young Master—
