Transmigrated as a Cannon Fodder Alpha in a Scum Alpha Novel (GL) - Chapter 12
As the crew had already cleared the path, the first thing they heard after the two got out of the car was the synchronized screams of two rows of fans.
The fan circles were just as clearly delineated. Those at the front immediately started stuffing paper bags filled with luxury brand logos into Shang Ming and Fu Suihan’s hands. As they did so, they smiled sweetly and greeted them. When they couldn’t name them, they would sweetly say, “Thank you for taking care of Shixue.”
Shang Ming inevitably stiffened when called, but Fu Suihan adapted well, quickly shifting her identity and casually uttering, “Mm.”
Their actions were so enthusiastic that a few fans in the back, clutching scarves and small photo cards, silently withdrew their hands, only daring to whisper “go, Shixue” to Song Shixue.
Song Shixue signed a few autographs and spoke for the first time: “Return the valuables. I endorse many brands, so I don’t lack these things. You are students; focusing on your studies is the priority, don’t get your priorities wrong.”
Her gaze didn’t land on Fu Suihan’s face, but Fu Suihan moved with an understanding heart.
The main fans were inevitably a little disappointed but agreed. Song Shixue looked at the few people in the back and added, “If you really want to give me something, letters and your own handmade items are perfectly fine. Did you prepare anything?”
In a few words, several tear-streaked faces broke into smiles, their eyes once again filled with stars.
Fu Suihan looked down at Song Shixue. The woman’s smile was gentle, a softness different from when she was in front of her.
The rest of the way, Fu Suihan listened to the crew praise Song Shixue’s character. When they reached the third floor, which the crew had rented for the audition, the crew member finally ran out of words and simply said eagerly, “Sister Song, Director Qi has been waiting for you for a long time. Shall we go inside?”
After exchanging pleasantries along the way, the honorific “senior” had changed to “sister.” Fu Suihan was greatly impressed. The next second, she clearly caught the word “inside.”
Inside?
Fu Suihan looked up and scanned the wide hall. The only place that could be called “inside” was a room labeled “Audition Room” on the wall.
Fu Suihan immediately had a bad feeling.
The next second, her gaze met Song Shixue’s directly.
Fu Suihan held back, but couldn’t help asking, “Are you a judge?”
“Didn’t I tell you?” Song Shixue’s expression was normal. “Director Qi decided it spontaneously this morning. Maybe I forgot.”
Fu Suihan: *…*
Are you sure Director Qi decided it spontaneously, and you didn’t force her to?
“Besides, isn’t it better for you that I’m a judge?” The Omega’s eyebrows subtly raised, a faint smile in her eyes. “Sui…han. I’m looking forward to your performance.”
The crew member, being close, just recovered from realizing that this “assistant” was an auditioning artist. His mind then became active with the mention of “Suihan.”
Seconds later, he, who felt he had discovered a shocking secret, glanced at the artists in the hall who were restless due to Song Shixue’s arrival. He very prudently changed his speaking target: “Then, would this young lady like to audition first? That would also save some time.”
He said it to Fu Suihan, but his gaze kept darting towards Song Shixue, clearly trying to curry favor.
Song Shixue, however, was not swayed. Her expression was cold: “There are so many people waiting. Who are you giving special treatment to? Let’s go, to see Qi Yuan.”
Having misjudged the situation, the crew member dared not speak rashly, yet still wanted to be helpful.
Looking around, the wheelchair was taken by Shang Ming. The only thing he could do was take the gifts from Fu Suihan and carefully walk away.
Fu Suihan’s face was numb. She looked at her empty hands for a while, then at Song Shixue’s back, who hadn’t bid her farewell, and resignedly found the nearest seat.
She clutched the mended script, wanting to flip through it, but couldn’t bring herself to. Her mind was still filled with the look in Song Shixue’s eyes when she was in the car earlier.
Several weeks had passed, and Fu Suihan still hadn’t found a reason for Song Shixue’s exceptional kindness towards her.
Asking Song Shixue was naturally the quickest solution, but Song Shixue might not answer, and Fu Suihan usually couldn’t bring herself to ask; it felt a little pretentious.
As she began her one-sided emotional drama, many artists in the hall had already met their assistants’ gazes, and a flame named “hope” ignited in their eyes.
Ever since Song Shixue first established herself in the entertainment industry, she had become the ideal sponsor in the eyes of many unknown artists.
But Song Shixue’s AO relationships were clean, and she had zero scandals outside of promotional stunts in her many years in the industry. Her staff also kept tight-lipped, so ordinary artists simply couldn’t find an opportunity to get close to her.
Everyone who came to audition had never expected to see Song Shixue.
But Song Shixue not only showed up today, she also left a “tail.”
Although it was unclear why the assistant remained on standby in the hall, the fact that the person was “someone close to” Song Shixue was already a foregone conclusion. If they couldn’t curry favor with Song Shixue, currying favor with her assistant and getting some information was just as good.
When Fu Suihan was gently called back to attention by a self-introduction, she found herself surrounded by people within a few meters. Most were petite Omegas, hesitantly asking for contact information. Or Alphas who made no overt moves, but their gazes kept darting over, wary.
Fu Suihan was stunned for a moment, realizing they had misunderstood something, and explained, “I’m not Song Shixue’s assistant.”
Immediately, someone in the crowd said disdainfully, “An assistant acting so arrogant? You’re so close to Song Shixue, if you’re not an assistant, what are you? Here to audition?”
Before Fu Suihan could answer, a staff member holding an audition card with “Shen Miaomiao” written on it walked over: “Are you Miss Fu?”
Fu Suihan took the audition card, flipped it over, and saw she was number seventeen.
The voice came from the crowd, ordinarily indistinguishable, but Fu Suihan’s gaze fell directly on a male Alpha’s face. She shook the audition card: “Yes, I’m here to audition. Is there a problem?”
Silence.
A moment later, everyone silently retreated several steps, until the male Alpha stood alone in the center of Fu Suihan’s vision. The audition card in his hand bore the name of the second male lead, Zhang Hengzhi, a young master from a noble family. He had deliberately worn a profound-patterned cloud-sleeved robe, dressed richly, but his ordinary appearance ruined the atmosphere.
Suddenly “isolated,” the Alpha’s face turned pale, and he said bitterly, “Audition then, there are so many people auditioning here, it’s not like you’re guaranteed to be chosen.”
Fu Suihan said, “I might not get to play Shen Miaomiao, but you definitely won’t play Zhang Hengzhi.”
Beneath his voluminous robe, the male Alpha’s hand unconsciously tightened. He wanted to retort but knew his chances were slim. Moreover, given Song Shixue’s familiarity with the person in front of him, any more nonsense would probably get him disqualified from the audition altogether.
But he was still unconvinced and still wanted to act tough when a slightly childish female voice scoffed, “Definitely won’t play it? Such a big mouth. Anyone who knows you’re with Movie Queen Song, anyone who doesn’t might think you’re Movie Queen Song herself.”
Fu Suihan looked up and saw that the laughing girl was from the Alpha section. She had shoulder-length hair, red lips and white teeth, and a sweet appearance. However, all ten of her fingers were adorned with gold and silver rings, clashing with her aura.
Scattered laughter spread around, mostly from those near the girl, in response to her remark. But Fu Suihan had excellent eyesight and could see the stiff smiles on many faces. Her eyebrow subtly raised, and the next second, a very short character biography appeared before her eyes—
[Chi Qiu, Alpha, youngest daughter of the Chi family, one of the heirs to the jewelry brand E.M.T. A fan of Song Shixue, entered the entertainment industry for her, brought capital into the production, and is a strong competitor for your role as Shen Miaomiao in “For the Emperor.” ]
