Transmigrated as an Alpha, the Fox Spirit Lives on Pheromone - Chapter 26
After discussing Jiang Li’s matter, Bai Muqin suddenly realized they were still soaking naked in the bathtub.
She withdrew her arm from Jiang Li’s embrace and was about to stand up when the overwhelming softness pressed tightly against her arm again, making her dizzy.
“Master, Huang Xianxian asked me to beg a favor from you,” Jiang Li tried her old trick again.
But this time Bai Muqin wasn’t fooled. She stubbornly pulled her hand away, keeping her gaze fixed straight ahead to avoid looking at the alluring little fox spirit half-submerged in the water. As she got out of the tub, she said, “We’ll talk about it somewhere else.”
Wrapping herself tightly in a towel, she practically fled the bathroom, looking somewhat disheveled. Back in the bedroom, she quickly changed into pajamas and glanced warily at the bathroom door, sensing that this little fox might be getting smarter.
Jiang Li dawdled out of the bathroom and saw Bai Muqin watching a video. She moved closer to watch too.
It was a sample of their company’s new product advertisement.
Since it wasn’t a flagship product, the overall effect was mediocre with nothing particularly outstanding.
Jiang Li pouted, “This ad isn’t good. I wouldn’t want to buy it. That girl’s performance doesn’t match the product at all. It’s not as good as our previous ads.”
Bai Muqin put down the tablet and looked at Jiang Li approvingly. “I agree. We worked with a new director this time, and there are shortcomings in various aspects. How about you be the lead tomorrow and we reshoot? We’ll use whichever version turns out better.”
Jiang Li’s eyes sparkled with excitement—she’d been looking forward to filming an ad for a long time. But then the sparkle faded. “But tomorrow I need to go scout locations with Huang Xianxian first.”
She seized the opportunity to continue: “Huang Xianxian wants to ask you for a loan. She wants to help Wen Rou move to a new place. The day after tomorrow will be the best opportunity for her to return to that body. We plan to approach them under the pretense of helping them move.”
This reminder made Bai Muqin suddenly recall Huang Xianxian’s words. If Huang Xianxian was a weasel spirit possessing someone else’s body, could Ah Li’s unspeakable secret be the same?
All the inexplicable aspects seemed to fall into place. This would explain why Ah Li was both Jiang Li and a fox spirit.
But why could Huang Xianxian say it so easily while Ah Li couldn’t?
And when exactly had Ah Li possessed this body? After the car accident? Or after being abandoned in Hidden Flower Alley?
Suppressing her doubts, Bai Muqin replied, “I have another property nearby that just needs some cleaning. It would be perfect for their family of three.” As for Ah Li’s secret, she would have to probe carefully later.
“That would be perfect,” Jiang Li said, her eyes filled with even more admiration for Bai Muqin.
Bai Muqin nodded. “Tomorrow you can ask Qin Nian for help.” With that, she opened another product promotion plan to browse.
Jiang Li agreed and stayed quietly by her side. After a while, only steady breathing could be heard.
Putting away the tablet, Bai Muqin realized Jiang Li had fallen asleep leaning against the bed. She was slightly surprised—in the past, Ah Li would have been whining about being hungry and pestering her for pheromones by now. But this time, she had fallen asleep on her own, unusually quiet.
She released a small amount of pheromones, and Jiang Li’s nose twitched slightly, like a puppy catching the scent of meat. She lifted her head and moved closer, though her eyes remained closed as if sleepwalking.
The next moment, Jiang Li’s hands were on her shoulders, and with a slight push, she pinned Bai Muqin down on the bed. Even with such a sudden movement, Jiang Li’s eyes stayed shut, as though she were still asleep.
Feeling a fluffy head nuzzling against her neck, tickling her relentlessly, Bai Muqin couldn’t help but let out a soft laugh. She tilted her head slightly to give Jiang Li better access to her gland, hoping to stop the incessant rubbing.
The sensation—soft, warm, and slightly damp—sent a shiver through Bai Muqin’s body. A tingling pleasure radiated from her gland, spreading through her limbs, making her toes curl and her back arch instinctively. She tightened her arms around Jiang Li’s waist without realizing it.
Damn it, Ah Li was bold enough to lick her gland directly—this was even more intense than the previous sucking. The thought flashed through Bai Muqin’s mind, but she had no energy to scold the culprit. The repeated curling of her toes betrayed just how much her body was enjoying it.
Jiang Li lost herself in the act. If she had a tail, it would surely be wagging wildly by now. And in reality, it was exactly like that—having revealed part of her secret, her identity as a fox spirit no longer needed to be concealed. So, in her excitement, her fluffy fox tail slipped out.
Bai Muqin’s attention was quickly drawn to Jiang Li’s tail.
The elegant woman now had a tail that looked and felt incredibly soft, swaying gently against her smooth thighs like a feather brushing against her heart—ticklish and teasing.
An indescribable, peculiar feeling took root in her chest. Moreover, Jiang Li’s half-demon form added an extra layer of allure. Driven by this strange sensation, Bai Muqin finally reached for the tail. She avoided the base at first, stroking downward in smooth, mesmerizing motions. After several passes, her fingers ghosted over the base of Jiang Li’s tail, and she gave it a few deliberate squeezes—not too hard, not too soft…
Bai Muqin saw Jiang Li’s transformation in real-time—her eyes hazy with desire, cheeks flushed, lips slightly parted as she let out soft, breathy moans.
The state lasted only three seconds. In the blink of an eye, the Jiang Li who had been eagerly lapping at her pheromones turned into a helpless little fox, utterly at her mercy.
She let out a couple of whimpers in protest.
Ignoring it, Bai Muqin pulled the little fox into her arms, showering her with kisses and pets before reluctantly letting go.
“Tonight, you’ll replace the fox plushie and sleep with me,” Bai Muqin murmured, her voice softer than usual, as if coaxing a child.
Jiang Li obediently let out a couple of “awoo”s and nestled into a comfortable spot in Bai Muqin’s embrace.
Her master’s arms were warm and safe, and Jiang Li purred contentedly, her little fox paws kneading lightly against Bai Muqin’s chest like a kitten nursing.
The ticklish sensation made Bai Muqin blush. She grabbed the mischievous paws and pinched Jiang Li’s fox ears, scolding playfully, “You little pervert—still kneading at your age?”
Jiang Li buried her head in Bai Muqin’s neck, pretending to be shy as she let out a few soft whimpers.
Bai Muqin’s smile deepened. She kissed the fluffy fox head and slowly closed her eyes, drifting into sleep.
She slept exceptionally well that night—perhaps because she was holding Jiang the little fox.
When she woke in the morning, Bai Muqin stared blankly at the naked Jiang Li in her arms. The drowsiness of waking up vanished instantly. She had forgotten—when Ah Li returned to human form, she wore no clothes.
Jiang Li curled up in her embrace, their skin pressed together. Bai Muqin could clearly feel the warmth of her body and the smoothness of her skin.
Carefully, Bai Muqin tried to withdraw the arm Jiang Li was hugging, inevitably brushing against those soft, plump curves—so yielding and elastic, so pleasant to touch… Her hand seemed to move on its own, stroking lightly before her mind could react. A gentle squeeze, and the fullness spilled between her fingers.
When Bai Muqin realized what she was doing, her face burned with embarrassment. She quickly pulled her hand back and scrambled out of bed. So early in the morning—was this really necessary?
Jiang Li, still asleep, seemed completely unaware. Moments later, however, her eyes suddenly opened, a smug smile playing on her lips—as if some scheme had succeeded.
When Huang Xianxian came looking for Jiang Li, she found her still hugging the blankets, sniffing the lingering scent of Bai Muqin with a lovesick expression. Huang couldn’t resist teasing, “Didn’t you and that human woman has enough fun last night?”
Jiang Li shot her a glare. “We didn’t do anything. Just slept together.”
Huang Xianxian clicked her tongue disapprovingly. “Tsk tsk. And here I thought you were a fox spirit. Your seduction skills are worse than mine!”
Jiang Li side-eyed her as she dressed, skepticism written all over her face.
“Once I get my body back, I’ll have Wen Rou begging to sleep with me every night,” Huang declared matter-of-factly.
Fully dressed now, Jiang Li grabbed Huang by the scruff and perched her on her shoulder. “You’re supposed to be a grown woman now. Stop talking about it so shamelessly—I’m embarrassed for you.”
Huang retorted, “Then what should we call it, if not ‘sleeping together’?”
Jiang Li: “…”
By the time they were ready to leave, two hours had passed.
Just before stepping out, they received a call from Qin Nian.
Jiang Li, nervous about answering the phone for the first time, fumbled before politely greeting, “Hello.”
Qin Nian immediately assumed she’d dialed the wrong number. “Ah, sorry, I think I misdialed.”
“No, no! It’s me, Ah Li,” Jiang Li clarified.
Qin Nian was baffled—why did she sound like a completely different person over the phone? Shaking it off, she informed Jiang Li that she’d settled the matter: Wen Rou had agreed to move and could complete the relocation within the day. As thanks, Wen Rou had invited them to dinner at her place the following evening.
Jiang Li praised sincerely, “You’re amazing! Huang Xianxian and I were worried Wen Rou wouldn’t agree, but you solved it so quickly!”
Qin Nian said smugly, “Now you know how capable I am. Just focus on preparing for tomorrow’s matter—no need to worry about the moving arrangements.” She thought to herself, big sis’s concerns were indeed justified. Relying on a fox spirit and a weasel spirit to get things done was definitely unreliable—it still came down to her in the end.
Huang Xianxian was still a bit uneasy and asked Jiang Li to check on how “Huang Xianxian” was doing.
After a moment’s thought, Qin Nian replied, “She seems normal, just a bit dazed. But she listens to Wen Rou quite well.”
Huang Xianxian nodded and said to Jiang Li, “Then there shouldn’t be any issues. To avoid your spiritual energy disturbing her, let’s wait until tomorrow to go. You should spend today familiarizing yourself with the spells we’ll need tomorrow.”
