Transmigrated as an Alpha, the Fox Spirit Lives on Pheromone - Chapter 28
Staring at the eagerly waiting little fox Jiang Li before her, Bai Muqin once again fell into deep contemplation.
Not long ago, Huang Xianxian—who had already regained human form—brought back Jiang Li in her fox form. As Bai Muqin took the barely conscious Jiang Li into her arms, an indescribable sorrow surged through her veins, chilling her limbs. This all-too-familiar sense of helplessness nearly caused her to lose composure.
Fortunately, Huang Xianxian quickly explained the situation, allowing Bai Muqin to suppress that wave of despair.
It turned out Jiang Li had expended a great deal of her cultivation while helping Huang Xianxian possess a body. The depletion left her with an overwhelming hunger, and in her starved, unconscious state, she instinctively reverted to her original form to better absorb spiritual energy from the world.
However, in their world, spiritual energy was nearly depleted. To Jiang Li, Bai Muqin’s pheromones were undoubtedly another form of nourishment.
Jiang Li lay on the bed, gazing at Bai Muqin with eager, longing eyes, waiting for the next round of feeding. She hadn’t expected assisting Huang Xianxian to cost so much of her cultivation. Starved to the point of being unable to maintain her human form, her mind was utterly blank, too lazy to think, focused only on filling her stomach.
Noticing Bai Muqin’s momentary distraction, Jiang Li let out two urgent “ao-wu” sounds and lightly pawed at her, finally drawing her attention back.
The scent of passionfruit pheromones still lingered in the air. Bai Muqin reached out to stroke the little fox’s head, asking with a mix of exasperation and affection, “Still not full?”
“Ying ying ying,” Jiang Li responded, licking Bai Muqin’s hand ingratiatingly with her little tongue, wagging her tail as hard as she could, her bright eyes brimming with hunger.
The ticklish sensation on her palm made Bai Muqin laugh until tears welled up. She scooped Jiang Li into her arms, giving her a thorough rubdown before finally releasing her, satisfied.
Jiang Li sprawled across Bai Muqin’s chest, her tiny paws kneading lightly, as if believing that if she were gentle and careful enough, her owner wouldn’t notice.
“Naughty fox? Reverting to your true form brings out your instincts?” Bai Muqin lightly tapped Jiang Li’s mischievous paws but didn’t stop her from kneading.
The gentle taps did nothing to deter her. Encouraged, Jiang Li kneaded a little more, and upon catching the rich scent of passionfruit, she grew even more excited, kneading with renewed vigor.
The little fox’s kneading elicited an indescribable reaction in Bai Muqin’s body. If feeling desire toward Jiang Li in human form was normal, then experiencing the same toward her in fox form—was she becoming some kind of pervert?
Blushing, Bai Muqin suppressed her urges and continued releasing pheromones to satisfy the little fox.
As the pheromone concentration in the room grew thicker, Jiang Li emitted contented little whimpers while feeding.
But in her fox form, she couldn’t absorb the pheromones from the air as efficiently as before, so she gradually inched closer to the source.
To the little fox, Bai Muqin’s pink gland looked as tempting as a jar of honey.
Her animalistic hunger overpowered her rationality. Though she knew she shouldn’t lick without permission, she couldn’t help but lean in.
A fox’s tongue was softer than a human’s—the tip velvety, but the surface slightly rough with tiny barbs.
Bai Muqin felt her mind go blank, forgetting to stop the audacious little fox, Jiang Li.
Her cheeks gradually flushed a lovely shade of pink, the corners of her eyes reddened and glistening, exuding an alluring charm.
When Bai Muqin finally realized what had just happened, she was so overwhelmed with shame that she wished she could hide under the covers.
Seeing the culprit, the little fox Jiang Li, acting completely oblivious as she buried herself in her meal, Bai Muqin gritted her teeth in frustration. She grabbed the little fox and tossed her to the foot of the bed before heading to the bathroom on her own.
The little fox lay sprawled on the bed, her tiny head filled with big questions—why had her owner suddenly turned cold? Was it because she had acted without permission? Did this mean she was disliked now?
Bai Muqin caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror—cheeks flushed, eyes slightly damp, her clear gaze tinged with a hint of dazed confusion.
She quickly averted her eyes.
Returning to the room, she saw the little fox lying on her back, staring unblinkingly at the ceiling, looking utterly bewildered by life. The sight was so adorable that Bai Muqin couldn’t resist scooping her back into her arms and giving her a thorough cuddle.
The little fox was indeed unbearably cute and deeply cherished by her. Yet, the thought that Jiang Li would remain in fox form for the next ten days or even half a month left Bai Muqin feeling hollow, as if something were missing.
Holding the little fox tightly could only fill that void a little.
As if sensing her owner’s emotions, the little fox lifted her head and nuzzled against Bai Muqin’s chin, murmuring incomprehensible fox sounds, as if offering comfort.
Bai Muqin rubbed the little fox’s head and lay down with her in her arms.
Huang Xianxian had mentioned before that if she wanted Jiang Li to regain her human form sooner, she could try the dream-sharing method again.
Thinking back to that wildly indulgent dream she had orchestrated—and then to that very real night—Bai Muqin found herself feeling a touch nostalgic.
To avoid affecting the upcoming endorsement shoot in a few days, it was best to restore Jiang Li’s human form as soon as possible. That was Bai Muqin’s last thought before falling asleep—though she wasn’t entirely sure how to enter the dream properly.
A short while later, Bai Muqin opened her eyes and looked around. Everything was familiar—this was her office. Yet she knew very well that this was a dream. Had she really dreamed about work?
She pinched the bridge of her nose, thinking to herself that even a workaholic should have limits.
Then, a knock sounded at the door. Out of habit, she called, “Come in,” and fixed a slightly nervous gaze on the office door.
Sure enough, Jiang Li appeared the next second. Was this truly a case of “daytime thoughts, nighttime dreams”?
For a moment, Bai Muqin couldn’t tell whether this was just an ordinary dream or if she had successfully entered Jiang Li’s dream.
Jiang Li carried a cup of coffee, swaying her hips with every step. Only when she drew near did she coo sweetly, “President Bai, your coffee.”
This version of Jiang Li was completely different from the one Bai Muqin remembered—her lips glossy and seductive, the slight upward tilt of her eyes brimming with allure, as if she had written “President Bai, come and devour me” all over her face. Her low-cut uniform exposed ample cleavage, and her miniskirt showcased her long, slender legs to perfection.
Bai Muqin began to question herself—was this really her preference?
It was hard to imagine that the innocent little fox would dress like this to seduce her.
Distracted, she didn’t notice Jiang Li circling around the desk until the coffee was placed right in front of her.
But with a slip of the hand, she spilled coffee onto Bai Muqin’s coat.
“Ah, President Bai, I didn’t mean to.” Jiang Li said with exaggerated remorse, grabbing some tissues before straddling Bai Muqin to wipe off the coffee stain.
Since this was a dream, there was no need for restraint.
Bai Muqin casually took off her coat, revealing a shirt underneath with two buttons undone, exposing her alluring collarbone.
Jiang Li’s eyes lit up as she pointed at Bai Muqin’s collarbone and cooed, “There’s coffee here too, let me help you, President Bai.”
With that, she lowered her head and extended her little tongue, lapping up the coffee.
Wherever her tongue trailed left a wet, tingling sensation, making Bai Muqin’s heart skip a beat. Suddenly, a TV scene flashed through her mind—something like The Secretary’s Seduction. She’d only glanced at it, so how had this office-play scenario lodged itself in her memory?
Back then, she’d scoffed at it, yet here she was having such a dream. Was this really the kind of person she was?
By now, Bai Muqin was certain this was her dream. Like a wild horse freed from its reins, she cast off all inhibitions, wanting only to indulge freely.
Seeing Jiang Li repeatedly licking the same spot on her collarbone, Bai Muqin smirked. “All you can do is act like a puppy? Should I teach you how to serve me properly?”
With that, she pulled Jiang Li close, guiding her hand to a more intimate place.
Jiang Li’s fingertips grew damp as the scent of passionfruit pheromones filled the air, mingled with a hint of sweet-and-sour lime.
“Has your gland recovered?” Bai Muqin asked, cheeks flushed, drawn to the lime fragrance. But then she remembered this was just a dream—how could she take it seriously?
Blushing, she murmured, “Should I teach you how to mark?” Her fingers lightly traced Jiang Li’s gland, soft and delicate as a newborn’s skin.
Jiang Li shivered at the touch but didn’t forget to continue pleasuring Bai Muqin, whispering seductively, “President Bai, I know how.”
Then, with parted lips, she leaned toward Bai Muqin’s gland.
Experiencing being marked for the first time—and in a dream, no less—Bai Muqin clung tightly to Jiang Li, her trembling body still riding the aftershocks when a warm breath brushed her ear. “President Bai, how was my service? Can I get a raise?”
Such a romantic atmosphere, ruined by talk of a salary increase. Bai Muqin’s chest tightened with irritation.
With a start, she woke up.
The little fox Jiang was still asleep in her arms, its paws kneading unconsciously.
Suppressing the urge to ruffle it awake, Bai Muqin concluded it must have been the mischievous fox’s paws that led her into such a vividly indecent dream.
