Transmigrated as the Scumbag Alpha of a Cold Movie Queen - Chapter 10
When Qi Siyu heard Gu Xiaoling’s name come out of Gu Qing’s mouth, she was genuinely irritated. It was the Alpha’s inferiority rearing its head, but she still tried hard to rein herself in.
“Let go,” Gu Qing said coldly.
Qi Siyu snapped out of it and reflexively loosened her grip—but she didn’t let go entirely. There were still two minutes left before the hour was up. She couldn’t let all her efforts go to waste.
She looked at Gu Qing’s hand. On that fair, delicate skin, she could vaguely see red marks.
A boom went off in Qi Siyu’s head. Had she really gripped Gu Qing’s hand too hard out of jealousy over Gu Xiaoling?
“I’m sorry! I’m really sorry—I didn’t mean to,” Qi Siyu apologized in a hurry. “I spaced out for a second. Let me rub it for you.”
Without releasing her hold, she gently began to massage Gu Qing’s hand—not too hard, not too soft.
Whether she was atoning for her mistake or taking the opportunity to steal a little benefit for herself, it wasn’t clear.
Gu Qing didn’t refuse at first, possibly because of the lingering pheromones. And by the time she regained her senses, it felt too awkward to stop her.
It wasn’t until Gu Xiaoling returned with a cup of water that Gu Qing finally found an excuse. “I want a drink.”
“Huh? Ah—let me feed you,” Qi Siyu offered quickly. There were still seconds left—she didn’t want to let go.
“No need!” Gu Xiaoling interjected, shoving Qi Siyu aside. “There’s a straw. Sister Gu can drink on her own.”
After much stalling, Qi Siyu finally released her grip once the full hour had passed. “Fine.”
She could still feel the lingering softness on her fingertips. Absentmindedly rubbing them together, she got up and walked out of the room.
If she stayed any longer, she was afraid she really would shove Gu Xiaoling out of the way.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Gu Xiaoling adjusting the bed upright and handing the water to Gu Qing. She even took a wet wipe to clean Gu Qing’s hands.
As Qi Siyu left the ward, the aroma of food drifted through the hallway. Looking downstairs, she saw people returning with takeout boxes.
Her stomach growled right on cue. Pulling out her phone, she ordered a bunch of strong-smelling dishes: cumin skewers, fish-flavored shredded pork, spicy crayfish, cheese-baked rice—and even durian pizza.
She figured the powerful food smells could help mask the lingering scent of their pheromones.
It was strange. Even with the ventilation system humming at full force, she could still smell that heady red wine chocolate scent.
While waiting for the food, Qi Siyu didn’t return to the ward. Instead, she went to the public restroom to wash her hands—time for the daily draw!
She wasn’t expecting anything great aside from the targeted item, but the ritual mattered.
You never know. Maybe the heavens would take pity on a perpetually unlucky soul one day.
[System: Host, please confirm draw target.]
“I want to draw the Gland Repair Serum.”
[Got it!] The system responded crisply.
[Draw initiated—please check your results.]
As expected, one of the items she drew was… wet wipes. Again. Only eight this time!
Qi Siyu perked up—at least it was fewer than last time. She checked the second item.
Ugh. Hair growth pills?
She ran her fingers through her thick hair. “I really don’t need those…”
Fine. Into the system backpack they go.
She tapped open the Gland Repair Serum’s detailed instructions—and froze.
Just as she’d suspected, the serum required continuous use for thirty days. And just like the YuanKang Powder, each dose was small—this one vial was only enough for three uses.
But that wasn’t the main problem.
The biggest issue was the method of administration. The serum had to be injected into an Alpha’s gland, after which the Alpha would need to temporarily mark the Omega, transmitting the serum into the Omega’s gland that way.
“System, isn’t that a bit… strange?” Qi Siyu felt uneasy. If she had to mark Gu Qing continuously for a whole month… wouldn’t she completely lose it?
[Host, that’s because Omega glands require the nourishment of Alpha pheromones to remain healthy.]
[While Alpha pheromones can be added during manufacturing, the match rate is unpredictable. This design ensures the best individual compatibility.]
“…Fine. I’ll do my best.” Qi Siyu sighed, but somewhere in the depths of her heart—she was secretly thrilled.
A tiny flicker of delight bloomed in the most hidden corner of her mind.
“I’ll have to plan this carefully. Can’t miss a single dose of YuanKang Powder or the Repair Serum.”
She pulled out her phone and opened her notes app to start tracking it all.
At first, she’d need to draw the serum at least once every two days to ensure there were no gaps, even if she missed a few draws.
Thirty minutes later, the takeout arrived, and Qi Siyu finally returned to the ward.
Gu Xiaoling was watching a movie—one that starred Gu Qing herself. Gu Qing had her eyes open and was watching attentively.
Qi Siyu sat on the couch, unpacking all the dishes. As soon as she opened the containers, the mixed aromas flooded the room.
Gu Xiaoling looked over immediately but didn’t say anything.
“I got you some too. Want some?” Qi Siyu asked.
“Go ahead and eat,” Gu Qing said.
Gu Xiaoling nodded. “Okay!”
She rushed to the coffee table, thanked Qi Siyu, and locked eyes on the unopened durian pizza.
Qi Siyu smirked in satisfaction. The novel never mentioned Gu Qing’s food preferences, so pleasing her was a 360-degree minefield.
But Gu Xiaoling? She had plenty of known favorites—durian among them.
As the saying goes: feed someone enough and they won’t bite the hand that feeds them. If Gu Xiaoling kept eating her food, maybe she’d stop glaring at her every day.
And the longer they spent together, the more they’d see her kindness, beauty, and sincerity. Sooner or later, they’d be moved by her charm.
Qi Siyu chuckled to herself, delighted by her own daydreams.
Gu Xiaoling: What’s with the sudden lunacy…
Ignoring her, Gu Xiaoling dug into the durian pizza with gusto.
After eating her fill, she left without a second glance.
She didn’t return to her original seat, choosing instead to sit a little farther from Gu Qing—afraid the durian smell might bother her.
Pulling out her phone, she habitually tapped into the trending topics, only to be stunned by what she saw:
#GuQingExplosion
#GuQingCarefreeVacationShow
Gu Xiaoling: “???”
She clicked in—and her bl00d pressure spiked. Her mind went blank.
Her sister Gu… had just been officially announced as a guest on a chaotic variety show.
A patient who had just been in a car accident—was expected to film a confrontation reality show in just over twenty days?!
Fans were already losing their minds, furiously demanding answers from Gu Qing’s agent and agency. Meanwhile, antis were spreading nasty rumors.
Gu Xiaoling stormed over to Gu Qing with her phone. “ Sister Gu, did you know about this?!”
Gu Qing narrowed her eyes and saw the post. Filming for Carefree Vacation was scheduled to begin in just over twenty days.
So that’s why Qi Siyu had been using medication on her—to get her well enough for this show?
One look at Gu Qing’s reaction, and Gu Xiaoling knew—she didn’t know.
Rage boiled up inside her.
“AAAAAH! Qi Siyu—I’m going to KILL YOU!”
Qi Siyu, who was busy trying to isolate the scent of red wine chocolate from the rest of the food smells:
“…What just happened?”
