Transmigrated as the Scumbag Alpha of a Cold Movie Queen - Chapter 3
Qi Siyu crouched beside Gu Qing’s head, one arm resting on the hospital bed as she carefully examined the side of her neck.
So pale.
From this angle, she could just barely see the raised bump of Gu Qing’s gland.
The moment she remembered that a temporary mark would earn her another system draw, Qi Siyu grew restless with anticipation. Plus, Gu Qing was still unconscious and wouldn’t resist.
The only downside? She might end up being hated even more afterward.
Watching Gu Qing’s expression grow more strained by the second, Qi Siyu called her name twice. When she got no response, she gently propped Gu Qing’s upper body up into a side-lying position.
Lowering her head close to Gu Qing’s soft, white gland, the scent of red wine and chocolate grew even stronger. Qi Siyu felt lightheaded, her heartbeat quickening.
Was she supposed to just bite the gland directly? Qi Siyu wasn’t sure.
She lightly touched her tongue to it—just once—and immediately, Gu Qing’s pheromone levels spiked.
Surrounded by the overwhelming aroma, Qi Siyu’s vision grew hazy. She couldn’t help but give it another gentle lick.
So fragrant, so soft—she wanted more.
Suddenly, Gu Qing’s cold voice cut through the haze.
“Get off.”
Qi Siyu froze instantly, clarity slamming back into her. Her fingers tingled, and her tongue still tingled faintly with the lingering warmth of contact.
She swallowed hard and obediently pulled her head away from Gu Qing’s neck, gently easing her back onto the bed.
Their eyes met.
Gu Qing’s were calm and frosty as ever—like winter frost—starkly contrasting with the flush burning on her cheeks.
“Um… The doctor said your IV caused a pseudo-heat. You can’t use suppressants, so she said I should give you a temporary mark…” Qi Siyu blurted out, heart racing. Her survival instincts were in full overdrive.
“No need,” Gu Qing replied curtly, closing her eyes again.
No suppressants. No marking. She intended to power through it.
Her jaw was clenched, neck taut, eyelids trembling, and her hand gripping the bedsheet so tightly her knuckles turned white.
Sweat beaded on her forehead. Clearly, Gu Qing’s body was nowhere near as composed as her expression.
Qi Siyu opened her mouth, but didn’t know what to say. She knew the original novel well—Gu Qing was infamously stubborn. Persuading her was impossible.
But that red wine–chocolate pheromone only grew stronger, wrapping around Qi Siyu like a warm mist, brushing against every inch of her skin—a silent, seductive pull.
Her body began to burn.
Her nape began to itch.
She scratched it hard.
That one motion seemed to trigger something—suddenly, a crisp, sweet scent of lemon candy burst into the air.
It immediately tangled with Gu Qing’s pheromones.
The lemony scent crept over Gu Qing’s gland like rain on parched earth, soothing dried nerves and flooding her with an inexplicable sense of comfort.
Her body shuddered slightly—she nearly let out a soft moan.
But it wasn’t enough.
The relief only awakened a deeper hunger inside her—like a dam straining against floodwaters threatening to burst.
She clenched her fists, the sting of the IV needle snapping her back to focus. But the yearning didn’t fade. It swelled rapidly, as if invisible strings were tugging violently at every nerve.
Qi Siyu’s scent spread further, clinging to Gu Qing’s skin, seeping through her pores and into her bloodstream, demanding to conquer her senses completely.
Gu Qing had never felt such a powerful pull.
She abruptly opened her eyes, her glare like a cold arrow.
“Withdraw your pheromones.”
But Qi Siyu, eyes flushed red, was clearly overwhelmed. Her ragged breaths echoed in the quiet room.
“I didn’t mean to…” she murmured, barely holding it together.
Omega pheromones could lure an Alpha—but an Alpha could just as easily become addicted to an Omega’s scent.
And Qi Siyu hadn’t taken any precautions. She was completely exposed in this high-density environment, which amplified the effect on her body and mind.
Gu Qing frowned.
Their compatibility rating was only 59.9%. That was far below the minimum for a successful permanent mark—there shouldn’t be this kind of magnetic pull.
What the hell is Qi Siyu playing at?
She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
But the Alpha’s pheromones rode her every breath, spreading rampantly through her system, making it almost impossible to remain in control.
“Come here. Mark me.”
Gu Qing’s voice was cold and commanding.
She might have been wrapped in desire, but her eyes remained icy and clear.
Qi Siyu’s brain screamed this is suspicious, but her instincts overrode logic, and she leaned in immediately.
She wanted to hold her. To bite down hard. To fill Gu Qing with her own scent and claim her completely.
That was the primal instinct of an Alpha.
As she lowered her head to Gu Qing’s neck again, Qi Siyu consciously restrained herself, moving gently as her lips brushed the flushed gland.
Gu Qing frowned again. Qi Siyu was treating her like something precious and delicate.
“Hurry up,” Gu Qing snapped, sounding like this wasn’t her first time being marked.
Qi Siyu flinched in surprise, then bit down.
Her sharp canines easily pierced the gland’s tender skin. She instinctively released her pheromones, flooding Gu Qing’s body with her scent.
The mix of pain and pleasure made Gu Qing’s lashes tremble. Beneath them, her eyes were filled with something deeper—contemplation.
This effect was too powerful.
For pheromones to have this strong reaction, their compatibility had to be at least 90% or more.
After finishing the temporary mark, Qi Siyu quickly stuck a gland patch over the now red and swollen area, covering her bite mark.
Suppressing the overwhelming urge to pull Gu Qing into her arms, she forced herself to let go and backed away, putting at least a full step between them.
Just in time to miss the assessing look in Gu Qing’s eyes.
When Qi Siyu finally stopped, Gu Qing had already closed her eyes. Her face was pale, her expression serene.
If it weren’t for the sheen of sweat on her brow and the lingering mix of lemon candy and red wine–chocolate scents in the air, one might have thought nothing had happened at all.
Qi Siyu licked her lips uneasily.
According to the novel, after being marked, an Omega would experience short-term emotional dependency on the Alpha, while the Alpha would develop possessiveness.
But it wasn’t supposed to be this intense!
Qi Siyu tried to crush the overwhelming urge to cuddle Gu Qing close.
She needed to avoid doing this kind of thing again. She might have no ill intentions now, but who knew about the future?
Gu Qing had no romantic plotlines in the original story—especially not with a side character like her.
Having feelings for Gu Qing would only end in misery.
After mentally scolding herself, Qi Siyu quietly slipped into the bathroom, soaked a towel in warm water, and wrung it out.
She returned, gently testing a spot on Gu Qing’s face with the towel. Seeing no reaction, she quickly and carefully wiped her down.
After that, she couldn’t help but tidy Gu Qing’s messy hair, smoothing it gently.
Only once everything was in order did Qi Siyu breathe a sigh of relief.
She lightly touched the gauze on Gu Qing’s face, a pang of sorrow rising in her chest.
Thank goodness for the draw system. Gu Qing would recover soon, she was sure of it.
And as for draw chances—more were definitely coming.
After all, she had just earned one.
Time passed quietly as she watched the IV drip rhythmically fall.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed.
A WeChat message had arrived—from Gu Qing’s agent.
She was a major side character in the original novel. The original Qi Siyu only gave orders—the agent handled all the dirty work.
Qi Siyu opened the chat.
Gu Qing’s Agent:
President Qi, the task you gave me has been completed. “Tranquil Vacation” agreed to move the filming date forward from April 20 to April 1.
Gu Qing’s Agent:
I’ve also spoken to the hospital. We’re using aggressive treatment. Gu Qing will definitely be discharged in time.
Qi Siyu:
She recognized every word, but somehow, strung together, they made no sense at all.
But thinking about it more, this was the same original Qi Siyu who’d staged a car accident. Forcing a patient to work wasn’t exactly out of character—just another brand of cruelty.
Qi Siyu couldn’t wrap her head around the original’s logic, but she still had to clean up her messes.
She couldn’t just tear up the contract. The original had deliberately made the penalty fee obscenely high—so Gu Qing couldn’t afford to terminate it on her own.
We’re talking billions in breach fees—not even the entire Qi family could fork that over all at once.
In the original story, Gu Qing had no choice but to bite the bullet, working while still sick. Even when she got revenge later, she was left with chronic illnesses.
That couldn’t happen again.
Qi Siyu decided to act on two fronts:
1. Use the draw system to heal Gu Qing.
2. Reach out to Gu Qing’s powerful family—see what they could do to help.
Even as her brain worked, her fingers moved. She typed back:
Qi Siyu:
Change the filming date back. Don’t interfere with the hospital again.
Over at her phone, Gu Qing’s agent—Wang Fang—stared blankly at the screen.
What the hell? Is this capitalist psycho just messing with her now?
Fuming, Wang Fang kicked over her brand-new money tree plant in frustration.
Still, anger was one thing—survival was another.
She typed back obediently:
Wang Fang:
Understood. I’ll handle it right away. You can count on me, President Qi—no need to worry!
She had no choice. Her job depended on Qi Siyu.
Seeing the reply, Qi Siyu smiled faintly. She glanced at the name “Gu Qing’s Agent” at the top of the chat window and frowned.
It felt unlucky.
She changed the contact’s name to Cannon Fodder #1.
She’d be the first one sacrificed on the road to winning Gu Qing over.
