[Part 1]

Shortly after returning to China, Bo Mingyan picked up a drunken beauty outside a bar. The teary-eyed woman clung to her leg, whimpering, “Love me one more time!”

Amused, Bo Mingyan teased, “How do I love you again?” The answer came in the form of a kiss.

After the holidays, Bo Mingyan started a new job and moved into a new apartment. The job had a great atmosphere, and the rent was cheap for such a spacious place.

Everything would’ve been perfect—if her boss and landlord weren’t the same crying drunk who had kissed her days earlier.

Her coworkers warned, “Don’t be fooled by Little Ceo Meng’s gentle demeanor—she’s actually ice-cold.” Bo Mingyan glanced at Meng Xuran, who was currently sobbing and begging for more “Ice-cold? Really?”

Others whispered, “That new girl looks cold and unapproachable, but she’s actually really sweet.” Meng Xuran, still sore from being kicked off the bed, scoffed: “Sweet? Her?”

Everyone at the company assumed the two were oil and water—never mixing.

Until one day, a colleague barged into the office to find the usually mild-mannered Bo Mingyan pinning the “ice-cold” CEO against her desk, her voice low and demanding: “Since when have you liked me?”

And the supposedly unapproachable Meng Xuran—cheeks flushed, eyes glistening—leaned into her shoulder, whispering, “Probably… from the moment my world gained color.”
