Gu Xingyu turned back to find another new guest arriving.

“Hello, I’m Gu Xingyu,” she said, her smile fading slightly as she greeted the approaching woman.

“Hello, Chen Ren,” the newcomer greeted, her gold-rimmed glasses and casually elegant suit conveying an air of meticulous precision.

“The room is on the third floor,” Gu Xingyu said calmly, gesturing upstairs.

Chen Ren was at her side in an instant, brushing off her sleeve and murmuring, “Long time no see,” so softly the microphone barely picked up the sound.

Gu Xingyu acted as if she hadn’t heard, lifting her luggage and heading upstairs.

Chen Ren followed behind, carrying her own luggage to the adjacent room.

When they reappeared, everyone had gathered in the living room.
