Chapter 21: Cun Cun, Teach Me
The rose petal in his clenched fingers turned crimson. Song Cun avoided his gaze.
“W-Why would you be jealous…?”
“I saw you filming a kissing scene,” Qi Yan said.
Song Cun tightened his grip on the roses, forcing his tone to stay calm.
“You’re the one who visited the set. And that was work—I’m a professional.”
“I also heard the director say you kiss really well,” Qi Yan added, sounding a little aggrieved.
“That was a camera trick! A camera trick! You saw it yourself.”
Song Cun glared at Qi Yan, but couldn’t help blurting out, “And you? What about you?”
Qi Yan looked genuinely confused.
“What about me?”
“I saw everything, just now…”
Song Cun huffed, cheeks puffed with frustration, and turned back to face the window, giving Qi Yan a perfectly round view of the back of his head.
A low chuckle came from behind him—a quiet breath of laughter.
“What are you laughing at?!”
Song Cun turned around and glared at Qi Yan.
Qi Yan leaned in slightly, lowering his gaze to examine Song Cun’s face.
“Cun Cun… are you jealous too?”
Song Cun shoved him away and turned his head back.
“Jealous, my ass!”
“Cun Cun, will you let me explain?” Qi Yan’s voice remained gentle.
Song Cun didn’t respond, still refusing to turn around.
“Did you see that omega asking for my contact info?”
Qi Yan picked up his phone from the center console, tapped the lit-up screen with his slender fingers, and said, “Look, Cun Cun.”
He held the phone in front of Song Cun.
Song Cun didn’t want to look.
What was the point? Did he really want to show him how pretty that omega’s profile picture was?
“I showed him our marriage certificate.”
Qi Yan’s voice was soft and warm.
At those words, Song Cun glanced at the screen. It displayed two red booklets stacked together—their marriage certificate.
So what Qi Yan had shown that omega… was proof of their marriage.
Song Cun looked embarrassed for two whole seconds.
Qi Yan put away the phone and gently turned Song Cun to face him.
“Not jealous anymore, okay?”
Qi Yan lightly massaged his shoulders.
He really had to admit—Qi Yan always knew how to give him a graceful way out.
“I wasn’t jealous to begin with.”
Song Cun still refused to admit it, but that suffocating pressure in his chest finally began to ease.
He looked up, locking eyes with Qi Yan’s dark gaze, and pursed his lips.
“You brought up the kiss scene first. Can’t I ask you something too?”
“Mhm, my fault.”
Qi Yan accepted it without hesitation, but then smoothly changed the topic, “But I’m really curious—how do you guys fake kiss in scenes? Can you teach me?”
“Why would I teach you? You’re not an actor.”
“Because I’m eager to learn.”
If anyone else had said that, Song Cun would’ve immediately assumed they were full of it.
But if Qi Yan said it—well, somehow it sounded reasonable.
Someone like Qi Yan was definitely a straight-A student back in school. That’s why, even when they watched movies together, he could comment knowledgeably and analyze things with surprising insight.
And the fact that he had something worth teaching to such a model student?
Song Cun’s mood immediately brightened, and he didn’t hold back.
“It’s like this—”
He raised his right hand and pressed his thumb lightly against Qi Yan’s lips.
The moment his fingertip touched those lips, Song Cun looked up—only to fall right into Qi Yan’s deep, dark eyes. For a moment, his mind went completely blank.
“And then…?”
Qi Yan’s low voice carried a hint of seduction. As he spoke, his lips subtly moved, brushing against Song Cun’s fingertip.
Song Cun’s heart suddenly sped up.
And then…
Lowering his lashes, Song Cun’s gaze dropped to the lips just inches away—and slowly, inch by inch, he leaned in.
