- Chapter 11 - Wiping the Body
The wind howled, a storm was coming.
Shen Yuanyi scratched her head, “Let’s go then.”
Qi Ning’an smiled and nodded, pulling the pitiable woman beside her to her left side, appearing quite intimate.
She also moved a bit further away from Shen Yuanyi.
Shen Yuanyi didn’t mind at all, her thoughts racing: Oh no, oh no, is the plot unavoidable?
She had dodged the original plot point where the protagonist drugged the villain, triggering his descent into darkness, but she hadn’t escaped another factor that led to his corruption.
The first thing the villain would do after turning dark was target her—she absolutely didn’t want to end up as a human pig, dismembered and turned into a plaything.
Her gaze toward Qi Ning’an was tinged with fear.
“Shen Yuanyi, what’s wrong?” Qi Ning’an turned to look back. If not for the woman beside her, she would have been holding her puppy’s paw instead of this woman’s hand.
Shen Yuanyi shuddered, shaking her head like a rattle drum and instinctively stepping back. “N-nothing.”
Maybe if she drove fast enough to bypass the critical plot moment, she could prevent the villain from seeing something he shouldn’t and turning dark.
She immediately forced a smile, nudging Qi Ning’an forward. “Come on, let’s hurry. If it starts pouring, it’ll be hard to get down the mountain.”
Qi Ning’an noticed something was off but didn’t press further, her nails digging into the flesh of the woman beside her.
The timid, pitiable woman endured silently, not even daring to glance at the harbinger of doom.
A cold whisper reached her ear: “If you dare say a single word out of turn, I’ll kill you.”
This wasn’t a threat—Qi Ning’an was fully capable of it.
The woman shrank further into herself. To escape the villa halfway up the mountain, she had no choice but to walk alongside the wolf.
Up ahead, the lively alpha paused and urged, “Hurry up, you two!”
“Yes, yes,” Qi Ning’an replied with a smile.
Shen Yuanyi was practically in awe of her own cleverness. If I move fast enough, the plot won’t catch up to me.
Her fearful gaze toward the villain softened—right now, Qi Ning’an was still an innocent, clueless big sister, pure as a white rabbit.
Once in the car, the sudden shift from cold to warm made Shen Yuanyi feel dizzy. Whether it was from the chill or overeating, she, who never got carsick, now felt nauseous.
As the car started, she leaned against the window to rest, but her eyelids grew heavy, and she slowly drifted off.
A nagging unease pulsed in her chest. I’ll just close my eyes for a bit. If anything happens, I’ll wake up immediately to protect Qi Ning’an—make sure the villain doesn’t see anything unspeakable.
But when she opened her eyes again, blinding light greeted her, and a doctor in a white coat was examining her. She overheard the conversation: “What’s wrong with her?”
The doctor replied calmly, “Just a fever from the cold. This alpha’s constitution is a bit weak.”
“Good, as long as she’s okay.”
Once again, Qi Ning’an had brought her home. The villain is so kind.
Shen Yuanyi’s throat was parched, and she felt too embarrassed to ask Qi Ning’an for water.
But the moment she woke, Qi Ning’an was already at her side, taking her hand gently and asking softly, “Do you want some water?”
She had guessed her thoughts instantly. Blushing, Shen Yuanyi nodded in admission.
Qi Ning’an’s slender fingers brushed her forehead. “You scared me, suddenly getting a fever like that. How do you usually take care of yourself? You’re so unreliable.”
The constant chatter didn’t annoy her at all—instead, it gave her the illusion of having a mother’s care.
Since leaving to become a trainee at twelve, Shen Yuanyi hadn’t felt this kind of concern in a long time. Unconsciously, the corners of her lips curled up as she replied in a hoarse voice, “Sorry for making you worry.”
Qi Ning’an pressed her lips together in a smile and stood up to fetch a glass of water from outside. She helped Shen Yuanyi sit up, then settled by the head of the bed, offering her shoulder as support.
The softness against her back, the faint scent at her nose—”U-um… I think I can lean against the headboard and drink by myself.”
But Qi Ning’an had already brought the cup to her lips, leaving her no choice but to accept the gesture.
Was her voice really that quiet?
Still, the big villain was seriously, seriously, seriously too nice!!!
She took small sips of the sweet water, unaware of the expanse of fair skin revealed by her loose clothes, or the hand that had begun tracing from her neck to her collarbone—sliding even lower toward her collar.
The wolf disguised as a little rabbit stared hungrily at the glimpses of bare skin, her breathing growing heavier.
She wanted… wanted so badly to take a lick.
Puppy, puppy, puppy.
If her fingers ventured further, brushing against those tender buds—Qi Ning’an bit her lip and took a deep breath. “Puppy, do you want me to wipe you down? You’re sweating so much.”
Completely oblivious, Shen Yuanyi blinked up at her with wide eyes. “Is that… okay?”
Then it hit her—letting an unfamiliar omega touch her body. Her face flushed red as she shook her head. “N-no, it’s fine. I can do it myself.”
“Are you afraid I’ll take advantage of you?”
A white-coated doctor nearby had seen enough. Picking up her medical bag, she muttered, “I’m leaving. The patient is still weak—don’t do anything reckless.”
Qi Ning’an smiled faintly and pinched Shen Yuanyi’s cheek. “I know.”
“You really think I’d do something to you?” Her voice carried a hint of dejection.
Shen Yuanyi turned away, making it impossible to see the little rabbit’s expression. She felt awful—someone had offered to help, and she’d rejected their kindness.
“That’s not it.”
“Then why refuse?”
Her cheeks burned. “It’s… it’s just…”
“Just what?” Qi Ning’an murmured almost directly into her ear, breath teasing the shell.
Shen Yuanyi shook her head uncomfortably, but a hand cupped her face, holding her still.
Her ear tingled. She had no strength left.
What was wrong with the big villain? She seemed… dangerous.
Clearing her throat, Shen Yuanyi spoke solemnly. “Alphas and omegas shouldn’t do things like this.”
At those words, Qi Ning’an released her face. Shoulders slumped, she turned to leave, muttering tearfully, “So you do think I’d take advantage of you.”
Shen Yuanyi heard it. Her chest ached—as if she’d trampled on an innocent little rabbit’s pure intentions.
Maybe, in that pure little rabbit’s mind, she only wanted to help wipe down a weakened alpha. The caution between alphas and omegas existed because alphas might act inappropriately—but would an innocent little rabbit ever cross that line?
“Um… if you don’t mind… could you… help wipe me down?” Her fingers lightly tugged at the hem of Qi Ning’an’s skirt as she looked up.
When Qi Ning’an turned back, triumph flashed across her face—her lips threatening to curl into a smirk she could barely suppress.
She stood with her back to Shen Yuanyi. “Say it again.”
“Say… say it again?” The shy little wolf’s face flushed even redder. Such embarrassing words felt unbearable even after saying them once.
“What if you’re lying to me?”
So that’s what this was about. Shen Yuanyi smiled and took Qi Ning’an’s finger in her hand. “I wouldn’t lie to you.”
“Oh, really?”
Shen Yuanyi’s eyes betrayed her guilt. How could a white lie count as deception? It was all for the sake of the villain’s mental health.
“Really, absolutely true.”
Qi Ning’an was nearly amused by the little alpha. “Fine.” She walked out without turning her head. “Wait here while I get a towel and basin.”
“Thank you, sis!”
As the door closed, Shen Yuanyi lay back on the soft bed and sighed in relief. She had dozed off the entire way and had no idea what had happened during the trip.
Qi Ning’an didn’t seem to have seen anything inappropriate either. Had she managed to avoid the plot?
She couldn’t help but praise her own cleverness—if she ran fast enough, the plot couldn’t catch up to her.
The thought made her chuckle. “I’m so smart.”
The guest room in the Qi family villa had long been equipped with over a dozen hidden cameras by Qi Ning’an. Carrying the basin of water, Qi Ning’an entered, suppressing her excitement. “Sorry to keep you waiting.”
Shen Yuanyi shook her head nervously.
“Take off your clothes.”
“Okay…”
The quiet room seemed to hold nothing but the sound of breathing in that moment. Shen Yuanyi unbuttoned her loose white shirt one by one, folded it neatly, and set it aside. Then she tied up her hair, exposing the pale nape of her neck, and turned her back to Qi Ning’an.
The sound of the towel being wrung out behind her sent a shiver down her spine. For some reason, her heart was pounding wildly.
There was no one else in the room besides Qi Ning’an. Nothing would happen, nothing would happen.
It was just a short while—Qi Ning’an couldn’t possibly memorize what her body looked like.
Taking a deep breath, she felt the warmth of the towel against her back, wiping away the thin layer of sweat and leaving behind a refreshing coolness.
Hidden cameras in the corners captured every angle of Shen Yuanyi’s body, even clearly recording a tiny mole on her shoulder.
Qi Ning’an didn’t do anything inappropriate to Shen Yuanyi—she simply wiped her body clean. But the smile on her face was nearly impossible to suppress.
These few minutes of footage would be enough for her to savor for days. Just the thought of it made her so excited she could barely contain herself.
“Lift your arms.”
Shen Yuanyi, who had been covering her chest, was forced to raise her hands. The warm towel brushed against her, making her breath hitch—she almost screamed.
Luckily, it was only for a brief moment. The towel moved down to her stomach, and she immediately covered her chest again.
Just as she relaxed, the towel traveled lower, and Qi Ning’an’s calm voice sounded in her ear. “Legs.”
Still unable to accept someone else wiping her body, Shen Yuanyi quickly pulled a thin blanket over herself, her ears burning red as she whispered, “I can do the lower half myself.”
Qi Ning’an’s voice was full of seriousness. “Are you sure?”
Even if she wasn’t, Shen Yuanyi nodded. “Yes, yes.”
“Alright then. I’ll step out. Finish the rest yourself—and don’t rush. Make sure you clean thoroughly.”
Shen Yuanyi’s ears were so red they looked about to bleed as she nodded.
The door slammed shut.
Qi Ning’an leaned against the door, panting heavily with flushed cheeks cupped in trembling hands. Shakily pulling out her phone, she opened the surveillance feed and bit down on her index finger.
“Aha~”
