- Chapter 13 - Night Raid Ear Licking
Shen Yuanyi slapped herself on the cheek. “Ugh, ugh, ugh—can’t you speak properly? You sound like such a manipulative flirt.”
Sometimes she really couldn’t stand herself.
Qi Ning’an replied with a laugh, What, are you that concerned about my future girlfriend?
“Cough, cough, cough!” Shen Yuanyi nearly spat out bl00d when she saw Qi Ning’an’s message.
Since when had the villain become so mischievous?
No, no, it’s just… I’m going to sleep now. I have to act on set tomorrow. Goodnight, sis.
Shen Yuanyi put down her phone and rolled over in bed. “Qi Ning’an’s girlfriend? Would she even date anyone?”
The innocent little bunny didn’t even know how to get intimate with someone. If she started dating, wouldn’t she just get bullied by her girlfriend? What if she got corrupted?
She suddenly lifted her head from the pillow, her bewildered eyes fixed on the headboard. “What if Qi Ning’an gets corrupted and turns evil because of her girlfriend…”
Would she come after a minor character like her first?
Her phone screen lit up, drawing her gaze. It was a message from Qi Ning’an: Goodnight.
Those two words made her forget everything else. A grin spread across her face, revealing faint dimples—utterly charming.
A pure-hearted villain like Qi Ning’an would never date anyone, right?
In Shen Yuanyi’s mind, Qi Ning’an was like her own well-behaved daughter—excellent in both character and studies, but too naive for her own good. She had to shield her from anything inappropriate and keep her away from bad influences.
The next morning, Shen Yuanyi arrived on set, yawning widely. She listened to the director’s instructions and spent the morning filming. During lunch break, her assistant fanned her with a small handheld fan while she quietly ate, not interrupting the gossip around her.
“Did you see the trending news? Qi Ning’an is actually dating someone! Paparazzi and fans both caught it.”
“Well, she’s thirty—it’s about time she settled down. I bet we’ll hear wedding news soon. Remember that other star who got caught dating at thirty? Now she already has a kid.”
The conversation slowly shifted to that celebrity’s private life.
Shen Yuanyi, who had been eating quietly, suddenly put down her chopsticks, her eyes wide with shock, her hands trembling uncontrollably.
Qi… Qi Ning’an has a girlfriend?
“Ms. Shen, what’s wrong? Is the food not to your liking? I know a good restaurant nearby—I can get you something else.”
Shen Yuanyi immediately shook her head. “No, no, it’s delicious.”
She picked up her chopsticks again and shoveled rice into her mouth like she hadn’t eaten in days. She wasn’t unaware of how some media outlets loved to stir up rumors. Back when she used to walk too close to her bandmates, they’d claim they were involved.
Just last night, she had been chatting with Qi Ning’an like normal. How could she wake up to news of her having a girlfriend?
Wouldn’t her girlfriend get jealous? Wouldn’t she mind her partner texting someone else at ten at night?
Her chopsticks moved faster and faster, as if she were racing against time. In less than three minutes, she had devoured an entire box of rice with chicken legs and mapo tofu. Wiping her mouth, she stood up under the watchful eyes of her six assistants. “I’m going to check out the afternoon scenes.”
“Ms. Shen, don’t you want to rest a bit longer?”
She shook her head and walked away without another word.
Behind her, she could hear the murmurs. “Ms. Shen has really changed so much.”
“She’s lost all that sleaziness. Before, she’d always grope us or throw tantrums and disappear if we refused, forcing us to apologize before she’d come back. Now she’s so much more focused and refreshing…”
“Yeah, yeah,” others chimed in.
Shen Yuanyi walked away, unaware of what her assistant might be muttering about her behind her back.
There was a night shoot scheduled for the evening, and the director had warned that they wouldn’t wrap until at least one or two in the morning. Shen Yuanyi had no problem with it, but the director and her manager were deeply concerned for her.
Unexpectedly, someone came to visit the set, bringing a steaming pot of corn and pork rib soup. Hearing that someone was looking for her, Shen Yuanyi eagerly ran over to see who it was.
The moment she realized it was Qi Ning’an, her heart felt instantly soothed.
“Sister, what brings you here?”
Qi Ning’an smiled faintly and raised an eyebrow. “Just happened to be passing by. Brought you something to eat.”
Shen Yuanyi took the pot of soup, lifted the lid, and inhaled the fragrant aroma. “Wow!” she exclaimed, looking up at Qi Ning’an with sparkling eyes. “How did you know I was still on set?”
“Telepathy. Just a guess.”
In reality, Qi Ning’an had returned to the villa, checked the surveillance feed, and noticed Shen Yuanyi wasn’t home. She figured she might still be filming, so she had the housekeeper prepare the soup and came to visit.
Shen Yuanyi, however, took the answer at face value and hugged the soup pot even tighter, her smile widening.
“Alright, hurry up and eat. I’ll wait outside. After you finish shooting, I’ll drive you home.”
Shen Yuanyi’s grin never faded. She looked like a grinning Samoyed, wagging its tail. This was the first time someone had brought her food at night, and she clutched the soup pot happily, replying, “Thank you, sister.”
Sitting on the steps with Qi Ning’an, the night breeze was cool and refreshing, even if the stars weren’t visible. The rib soup in her hands was delicious.
“I’m so happy,” Shen Yuanyi sighed after finishing the last sip, tilting her head back.
Qi Ning’an’s lips curved almost imperceptibly as she pulled a tissue from her bag and gently wiped the oil from Shen Yuanyi’s mouth.
“Just a bowl of soup makes you this happy?”
“Mhm.” Shen Yuanyi nodded.
She wanted to say that both her mothers had always favored her older sister, leaving her neglected since childhood. But then, she suddenly couldn’t even remember their faces clearly.
Deep down, she knew she had two mothers and an older sister, but it had been so long since she’d seen them that forgetting was only natural.
Shen Yuanyi chuckled sheepishly and turned to Qi Ning’an. “Sister, if you get a girlfriend someday, you won’t treat me like this anymore, right?”
“Hmm?” Qi Ning’an looked puzzled.
Shen Yuanyi quickly stood up, laughing as she set the soup pot aside and dusted herself off. “I’ll get going now.”
Once Shen Yuanyi was out of sight, Qi Ning’an let out a soft laugh.
Someone like her would never have a girlfriend.
The director praised Shen Yuanyi for her improved acting skills and even added an extra scene on the spot. What was supposed to wrap up half an hour early ended up extending by another thirty minutes.
When Shen Yuanyi finally emerged, she spotted a Porsche parked by the entrance and waved cheerfully before skipping over. Peering inside, she saw Qi Ning’an dozing off in the driver’s seat.
Pressing her forehead against the window, Shen Yuanyi stifled a giggle before pulling out her phone and snapping a photo of the sleeping woman.
She watched as Qi Ning’an’s eyelashes fluttered, slowly opening her eyes—only to startle at the sight of a face pressed against the glass.
Shen Yuanyi bit her lip, grinning foolishly, thinking to herself, The big villain is really so adorable.
Qi Ning’an opened the car door and chided lightly, “Why didn’t you wake me? Have you been waiting long?”
Shen Yuanyi shook her head as she climbed into the passenger seat. “Not long at all. As for why I didn’t wake you up—of course, it was to admire your breathtaking beauty.”
“What kind of weird hobby is spying on people while they sleep?”
Shen Yuanyi spoke in a teasing tone, “Then next time, sister can sneak a peek at me sleeping instead.”
“Little rascal.”
Little rascal or not, even when this big villain got angry, she never cursed—her manners were exceptionally good.
Late at night, after seeing Shen Yuanyi home, Qi Ning’an waited downstairs for an hour. Watching the lights in the room turn on and then off, she put on a mask and baseball cap before carefully unlocking Shen Yuanyi’s door with a key.
Shen Yuanyi never had the habit of locking her door, so it opened without any resistance.
Qi Ning’an tiptoed into Shen Yuanyi’s bedroom, holding her breath as she approached the bed. The bright moonlight outside illuminated the dark room, allowing her to clearly see the sleeping face on the bed.
The scent unique to a young alpha—a faint creaminess—filled the air. Qi Ning’an inhaled deeply, her cheeks flushing red.
“Ha~ ha~ ha~ puppy…” The urge to lick grew stronger, and desire took over. She actually stuck out her tongue and lightly licked Shen Yuanyi’s cheek.
Feeling the wetness on her face, the little puppy merely wiped it with her hand and turned over to continue sleeping.
Qi Ning’an grinned excitedly, her heartbeat nearly drowning out all other sounds.
Once wasn’t enough—she wanted to try again.
Her fingers trembled with nervousness as she bent down to kiss Shen Yuanyi’s cheek. But it wasn’t enough. Her tongue moved to the earlobe, her teeth gently nibbling the ear.
“Mmm~” A soft moan escaped Shen Yuanyi’s lips.
To Qi Ning’an, it was the most beautiful melody.
Playing with the puppy’s ear was like toying with a piece of chewy candy—her tongue exploring the ear canal, teeth lightly biting the tip, or blowing warm breath inside.
The pale pink ear soon became damp and sticky.
Shen Yuanyi only furrowed her brows slightly, breathing heavily as the scent glands on her neck released waves of pheromones in response. The sweet, creamy fragrance spoke of pleasure and excitement.
It was telling Qi Ning’an one thing—that place had grown wet too.
Qi Ning’an took a deep breath. She couldn’t go any further, or the puppy would wake up.
Biting her tongue to suppress her excitement, she watched as Shen Yuanyi’s flushed heat gradually faded, her breathing and heartbeat steadying. Then, Qi Ning’an removed her shoes and quietly climbed into bed, lying beside the little puppy.
Her arms slowly wrapped around the puppy’s waist, as if they were a cohabiting couple—holding each other while sleeping was the most natural thing in the world.
So warm. So peaceful. She wanted to stay like this forever.
Time passed minute by minute. Around six in the morning, Qi Ning’an got up from the bed, stealing one last kiss on the puppy’s cheek before whispering in her ear, “Good morning, puppy.”
She took Shen Yuanyi’s phone from under the pillow, implanted a tracking and monitoring system, then placed it back. Slipping on her shoes, she crept out of the room.
There was no trace left behind—as if no one had ever entered.
Shen Yuanyi had dreamed all night—dreams of someone licking and biting her ears. Instinctively, she had wanted to hold that person, to demand more from them.
But every time she got close, that person deliberately stopped, leaving her aching with need.
“Want… more…”
By the time daylight streamed in, she woke to find her pants damp, her cheeks still flushed, and her heart racing. Embarrassed, she threw off the covers, slipped into her slippers, and rushed to the bathroom for a cold shower to wash away the lingering heat.
Drying her hair with a towel, she returned to the bedroom and picked up her phone, only to see a message from Qi Ning’an:
“Good morning, puppy. Did you dream about anything last night?”
Shen Yuanyi recalled last night’s dream, and the suppressed heat surged up again. He awkwardly rubbed his nose, his eyes turning red at the edges as he thought of the scenes from his dream, his gaze misty as if he’d been wronged.
