When I Was Reincarnated, All the Heroines Were Stolen by the Fake Hero ~ The Guy Who Dominated With Original Story Knowledge, and Me Who Dominated With Talent. It Seems the World After the Ending Is My One-Man Stage ~ - Episode 27
Episode 27
After leaving the beastkin settlement, we were on our way back to Kanaloa.
The wagon ride was as bumpy as ever. But unlike the trip there, the tense atmosphere was gone.
Instead, a pleasant sense of fatigue and relief from having resolved a major issue hung in the air.
Before long, the familiar stone walls of Kanaloa came into view.
As soon as we entered the town, our wagon was surrounded by a swarm of soldiers.
They all began shouting:
“Yutaka-sama!”
“Freyja-sama!”
“How did it go!?”
Voices flew at us from every direction. It forced the wagon to stop.
It was understandable.
The outcome of this expedition would greatly affect their future.
“Everyone, please calm down.”
Freyja stepped down from the wagon and silenced the soldiers with a firm and dignified voice.
Her words naturally commanded obedience.
Once the crowd quieted, Freyja proudly—and with a hint of excitement—announced:
“Good news, everyone. The beastkin have agreed to cooperate with us!”
In that instant, a thunderous cheer erupted.
The soldiers clapped each other on the shoulders and raised their fists in joy.
Their faces were filled with relief and hope for the future.
I couldn’t help but smile at the sight.
After the cheering had settled down a bit, a familiar man emerged quietly from beyond the crowd.
Wearing his usual tuxedo—it was Sebas.
No matter the situation, he never let his appearance slip.
“Yutaka-sama, Freyja-sama, I’m so relieved to see you safe.”
Sebas bowed deeply. He then looked around with concern.
“Now then, where is Kotama…? Where might she be?”
“Oh, she’s in the rear wagon. No injuries—she’s perfectly fine.”
When I told him that, Sebas let out a deep sigh of relief and hurried toward the rear wagon.
From the wagon, we heard:
“Hya!? S-Sebas!? W-wait, please back up!”
Kotama’s high-pitched but oddly happy-sounding scream echoed out.
It seemed she had been suddenly hugged tightly by Sebas.

That night, a modest celebration was held at the town tavern to commemorate our safe return and the successful alliance with the beastkin.
The tavern was overflowing with the soldiers’ excitement.
Freyja, urged by the troops, sat at the central table. She cheerfully recounted our journey and the battle with the beastkin. She was gesturing animatedly.
A constant ring of people surrounded her. And laughter never ceased.
Meanwhile, Sebas, Kotama, and I sat at a quieter corner table. We were quietly sipping our drinks.
Kotama still looked a little uneasy from the crowd and the occasional glances directed our way by the soldiers. But she no longer cowered behind Sebas or showed the extreme fear toward men that she once had.
Sitting beside Sebas, she sipped a small cup of fruit water in tiny sips.
“Oh… so the beastkin use lightning magic?”
Sebas let out a breath of admiration.
“Yeah. I only saw a few examples. But it’s more than enough to be a valuable force. I experienced it firsthand. This should help ease the burden on our troops, and we might be able to slowly reclaim the stolen land.”
“Indeed. Beyond Kanaloa lies some of the most fertile land once held by the Vixel Domain. It will take time, but this could finally lead us toward solving our food problems.”
Sebas squinted with joy.
If his years of hardship could be even slightly rewarded, it would be worth it.
But even so, I still had concerns swirling in my mind.
We might manage the food situation, but we were still critically short on medicine—and doctors.
We could try to hire skilled healers. But would any even be available?
Especially for a land abandoned by the nation…
Just then, Kotama muttered quietly, cutting into my thoughts.
“If only… I had the strength to fight like Freyja-sama or Lin-sama… then I could be more helpful to everyone…”
She drooped her shoulders and looked down.
Her eyes reflected frustration at her own helplessness.
“That’s not true, Kotama. Fighting isn’t everything. You have things only *you* can do.”
I tried to reassure her with as gentle a voice as I could.
“Kotama, Yutaka-sama is absolutely right. Just having you here, smiling like that, gives us tremendous strength.”
Sebas added. His tone was soft and encouraging.
But Kotama still seemed unconvinced.
She opened her mouth as if to say something more. Then, she simply pressed her lips back together and fell silent.
Her sincere desire to be useful to us was almost painful to see.

Later, I asked Freyja to form a small squad to welcome the beastkin. And we dispatched them to their settlement.
A few days later, the squad returned to Kanaloa—with the beastkin in tow.
And the moment I laid eyes on them, I was left speechless.
A line of beastkin flowed in through the town gates.
Their numbers… far exceeded anything I had expected.
I had already confirmed the strength of the beastkin through my battle with Lin.
So I figured they’d send maybe a dozen, perhaps twenty of their finest.
But what I saw was easily over a hundred warriors—where had they even been hiding that many?
Each one wore helmets shaped like beast skulls, just like Lin.
Many wielded weapons clearly made from the massive fangs or bones of magical creatures.
Their posture and the pressure they gave off made it obvious: these were hardened warriors.
At the front of the group stood Lin, with her brother Ron by her side.
Under the watchful, tense eyes of the soldiers, she approached me—calm as ever—and said with a casual tone:
“Yo. I brought whoever was free for now. There were some lazy ones who didn’t feel like it. So the numbers ended up a bit lower than I hoped. Sorry ‘bout that.”
Internally, I screamed, “THIS is a small number!?” But I managed to keep a straight face.
Clearly, her tribe was much larger than I had imagined.
Ron muttered under his breath:
“See, I told you, Sis… you should’ve hidden the Fluff-Fluff better so they wouldn’t find them…”
“Hm? What was that, Ron?”
Lin glared at her brother in a voice like rumbling thunder. And Ron quickly shook his head in panic:
“N-nothing at all!”
Then Lin turned back to me. I was locking eyes with her wild, intense gaze.
With a fearless grin, she asked:
“So then, Yutaka—no, *Boss*. What do we start with?”
Her words unmistakably marked the beginning of a new force joining our cause—and the dawn of a new chapter in Kanaloa’s future.
