Although they were slightly outnumbered, and despite the fact that the overall strength ratio was roughly equal due to factors such as the battlefield and terrain, their aggressive performance made it seem like they were evenly matched.

“The 9th Legion is putting up an incredible offense. I heard from Fatima that only a Regiment-strength force remains in the 9th Legion.”

Beside René, Erin was amazed by the valiant effort of the 9th Legion. In the battlefield, the three Regiment commanders of the 10th Legion—Marcos Reynolds, Derek Miller, and Isabel Martin—each led their units, forming a giant triangle formation that covered the entire battlefield.

With Serena’s declaration, the blade of the rainbow sword shattered into numerous shards. These countless fragments sparkled and danced in the air.

Gripping the hilt of the now-bladeless sword, Serena infused her magic and swung the hilt in one swift motion. The shattered blade spread out, surrounding the entire sky of the battlefield.

“Light from the heavens, radiance illuminating all creation, become a dazzling brilliance piercing the earth, demonstrating the power to purify all.”

It was as if particles of light were dancing in the sky as if the entire battlefield were being blessed.

“With the divine baptism of light, annihilate the enemy, become the light guiding the path to peace.”

Vast magical energy gathered into the bladeless sword held aloft by Serena.

“Light purifying all, now descend from the heavens as a blessing, reduce my enemies to ashes. Scatter, dazzling and ceaseless rain of light, render the final judgment upon this battlefield!”

Simultaneously with her proclamation, the massive light extended towards the sky from the bladeless sword, branching out further and further, illuminating the battlefield with a radiant shower of light.

“Ninth Tier Light Magic, Radiant Rain, become the light that heralds the end of this battlefield!”

As Serena completed her incantation as if offering a prayer to the heavens, a shower of light poured down upon the entire battlefield.
