[Author’s Afterword]
Hello, everyone. It’s Cape.
Thank you very much for reading my work, “When I was working as a civil servant, I was found out to be a muscle-brained knight by the princess knight and got sent to the front lines.”
From Episode 1 to Episode 45, it amounted to approximately 107,000 characters, equivalent to a whole novel, so I’ve decided to conclude Part 1. Part 2 will follow soon, so please continue to enjoy it.
This work started on January 30, 2024, when various ideas came together in my head, and I impulsively posted the first Episode. It was truly a “Eureka!” moment. It was a great experience for me to start with a bureaucrat-themed story.
After posting the first Episode, the feedback from readers was very positive, and feeling encouraged, I began serializing it after solidifying the plot. Before I knew it, it ranked first in the weekly and monthly comprehensive rankings. Within just over two months of its release, it ranked within the top 100-150 in the cumulative comprehensive rankings. The number of page views is also approaching 3 million today. I’m surprised myself.
Once again, I express my heartfelt gratitude to all the readers who have been reading. Thank you very much. I’ve realized once again how happy it is to have so many people reading my work.
While Part 1 was a classic heroic war chronicle (serious face), Part 2 will continue as a classic bureaucratic domestic affairs story (physical). I hope you continue to enjoy it. …Because it’s a classic domestic affairs story, right? Sounds good?
