When I was working as a civil servant, I was found out to be a muscle-brained knight by the princess knight and got sent to the front lines - Episode 81
Episode 81
The Orc King. The king of orcs who wreaked havoc during the Great Southern Uprising.
In the previous battle, until the Orc Emperor appeared, the Orc King commanded the monster army. In Graysian, René and Lilly unleashed the strategic-class magic “Flame of Judgement,” and Jez finished it off with a combo. In Bastiona, Elliot defeated him using the designated forbidden magic “Dedication of the End.” On the way to the decisive battle from Graysian, Jez defeated him with the conceptual weapon, “The Pen is Mightier than the Sword – Jabberwock.” That was the Orc King.
Suddenly, a dozen or so Orc Kings appeared in the capital. Furthermore, a legendary dragon hovered above the Royal Council. Under normal circumstances, this would be a situation where the kingdom’s destruction wouldn’t be surprising.
Predicting such a well-equipped enemy force was impossible. Rather, the intelligence agencies of the Tashman Kingdom, including the 0th Legion, should be commended for roughly estimating the explosion’s origin and minimizing the damage.
Various groups confronted the Orc Kings appearing throughout the capital. They all recognized the danger and the gravity of the situation.
And then, the man who called himself a demon, Azargon. He also correctly recognized the situation and the balance of power.
To create this moment, he had caused the Great Southern Uprising at a great cost. The invasion operation, deploying even the Emperor-class. He was surprised when it ended in failure.
However, he had gauged the Tashman Kingdom’s strength from that battle. Now, with the forbidden magic “Sacrifice” in play, his fallen comrades would be remembered as heroes.
With the balance of power, victory was assured. Now, it was just a matter of cleaning up.
The sound of explosions echoed across the capital. Against this backdrop, the demon Azargon addressed the members of the Royal Council with a condescending attitude.
Three hundred members of the council. Officials from various ministries watching the proceedings. The Prime Minister and the heads of the ministries. René, Maria, Erin, Lilly, and Jez. They all prepared to act simultaneously, but…
“Don’t panic.”
A particularly resonant voice echoed in the Royal Council. All eyes, friend and foe, turned to one man.
That man, of course,
“A demon, you say? Welcome to the Tashman Kingdom. My name is Ramses Tashman. …I’m sorry, but let us welcome you in our own way.”
The demon Azargon heard King Ramses’ words and began to smile, he was just about to speak when,
“What!?”
An immense magical power enveloped the capital. The demon sensed the overwhelming, expansive magic and cried out in alarm.
He wasn’t alone. Apart from King Ramses and a few like Prime Minister Saylor, the Tashman Kingdom’s side was also astonished.
King Ramses, radiating a fierce aura, quietly fueled his fighting spirit as he watched.
“Demon, I don’t know who you are or what your aim is.”
With King Ramses’ words, the magic encompassing the capital began to shine, encircling the entire city.
“But I won’t allow you to lay a hand on this kingdom.”
With that, King Ramses struck the royal staff, the symbol of his kingship, into the ground. At the same time,
“Awaken, heart of my kingdom, eternal city, protector of my people.”
The walls surrounding the capital Nevorista activated, deploying a magical barrier around the entire city.
“Wall of Glory, repel all enemies and purify our land. Blessed city, protect us with your golden light from ruin.”
Magical circles spread across the ground throughout the capital.
“Power bestowed from the heavens, by the command of the king who rules the land, make this sanctuary an invincible shield. To all intruders, I declare, this land is inviolable, my people immortal, my will unbreakable.”
The movements of the rampaging Orc Kings and dragons came to a halt.
“Golden Gate, open and emit your blessed light. Repel the enemy, bring peace to our hands. Activate city-class conceptual weapon Golden City S.P.Q.R.”
A brilliant light enveloped the entire capital, restraining all hostile movements.
City-class conceptual weapon Golden City S.P.Q.R.
The capital Nevorista of the Tashman Kingdom itself is a massive conceptual weapon.
Long ago, before the founding of the Tashman Kingdom, there were ruins on this land. The city developed around these ruins is the origin of Nevorista.
Since its founding, this city and nation have always been the frontline of humanity.
During this time, the front line continues to advance steadily. The key to this is the capital city, Nevalista. This city is absolutely safe.
That is the concept realized by the city-scale conceptual weapon, the Golden City S.P.Q.R. In other words, “the city is an absolutely safe place for its citizens.”
This is one of the trump cards that the Tashman royal family, no, humanity, takes pride in. It’s a city-scale conceptual weapon that surpasses other conceptual weapons.
Of course, the activation of this city-scale conceptual weapon requires an enormous amount of magical power. However, this is covered by constantly storing small amounts of magical power from the many people living in the city.
Moreover, this weapon is only used in times of true national crisis. Even in the past century, there have been no instances of its use.
Therefore, even within the upper echelons of the Tashman Kingdom, very few know about it. King Ramses, without hesitation, played this trump card of trump cards.
Once he confirmed that the city-scale conceptual weapon had been activated, he issued instructions throughout the capital via amplification magic.
“My name is Ramses Tashman, King of the Tashman Kingdom. Citizens, rest assured. Your safety is secured.”
Then, with a sly smile, he proclaimed:
“And to all our forces, I command you. Swiftly annihilate the enemies who oppose our nation.”
