When I was working as a civil servant, I was found out to be a muscle-brained knight by the princess knight and got sent to the front lines - Episode 86
Episode 86
While Al-Faz’s unit was testing new weapons, and the archbishop and holy knights were advancing steadily in their battles, the 3,000 students were leveraging their numbers. Meanwhile, various locations in the royal capital saw the First Legion and the Royal Guards exterminating Orc Kings one after another.
Orc Kings were indeed a significant threat. Encountering them on the battlefield would be extremely difficult. However, in this battle, humanity had the upper hand because the Orc Kings appeared individually. It is unclear whether the enemy intended to divide the human forces or believed that sending one at a time would be effective.
Nevertheless, the enemy’s strategy clearly failed. They underestimated the strength of the Kingdom of Tashman. If a dozen Orc Kings had attacked the capital together, it would have been far more troublesome. The danger of powerful entities like the Orc Kings lies in the numerous supporting monsters around them. In battle, numbers often determine the outcome, a constant truth throughout history.
Powerful beings are more formidable with numerous support. The Kingdom of Tashman had to be cautious of their surroundings while fighting such entities. Isolated and without support, and with the Kingdom of Tashman able to receive supplies at any time, there was no reason for the numerically superior side to lose.
In the recent Great Southern Uprising, the threat posed by Orc Kings and General-class monsters was due to the tens of thousands of monsters under their command. The vast army prevented single-handed defeats of Orc Kings or Generals, turning the conflict into an all-out war that wore down the entire military.
Without such a massive army, the current Orc Kings were like naked kings. Hearing the explosions and combat sounds throughout the capital, Cynthia Clark was convinced of victory.
After thinking so, Cynthia Clark diverted her focus to the Orc King before her. She then directed her unit to eliminate the threat.
Someone should inform her, “Lady Cynthia, that sounds like a flag.”

This particular Orc King appeared in an unusually quiet area. It was clearly different from the others who appeared near military garrisons, the royal academy, and other key facilities. This one seemed to target the water purification facility crucial to the capital’s life.
Upon emerging from the summoning circle, the Orc King surveyed the area and was about to act. But at that very moment, the city-class conceptual weapon, Golden City S.P.Q.R. activated, immobilizing him with overwhelming force. Struggling violently to escape, the magic held firm.
What is this magic? This wasn’t in the plan.
Panicked by the unprecedented situation, the Orc King suddenly noticed the presence of a dozen masked members of the Royal Capital Patrol Unit surrounding him. They quietly encircled him, and the alley was filled with an eerie calm. It was a clear contrast from the capital’s chaos.
The Orc King pondered with his limited reasoning. Are they really just a patrol unit?
As he wondered, a particularly small woman among the masked patrol gave a quick hand signal. The patrol members dispersed, each moving rapidly and performing complex maneuvers made possible by the alley’s structure.
Before the Orc King realized, he was entangled in steel wires, immobilized by a combination of the mysterious large-scale magic and the wires. The wires targeted weak points like his neck, wrists, shoulders, elbows, knees, ankles, and hip joints.
Realizing the danger, the Orc King tried to move with all his might.
But.
“Ah, it’s better if you don’t move anymore.”
Cynthia Clark’s cold, emotionless voice sent chills down its spine.
With the mysterious binding magic slightly loosening, the Orc King could barely move. But this movement caused blood to flow from his neck and joints.
Seeing the Orc King hesitate to move, Cynthia smirked cruelly under her mask and said,
“Well, even if you don’t move, the result won’t change.”
Tactical Assassination Magic, Spider’s Thread Kandata
Steel wires were strung throughout the alley. Cynthia simply flicked them with a finger infused with magic.
In an instant, the Orc King was sliced into pieces.
If the one that appeared at the Royal Academy sustained the most damage, to the point of being unrecognizable. Then conversely, this Orc King here could be said to be the one left in the most pristine condition in this attack on the capital.
When this dismembered body was brought to the monster dismantling facility, the cuts were so clean that the staff thought the initial disassembly had already been done.
At almost the same moment, all the Orc Kings in the capital were defeated.
What remained were the demon at the Royal Council and the dragon.
