When I was working as a civil servant, I was found out to be a muscle-brained knight by the princess knight and got sent to the front lines - Episode 90, Part 2 Epilogue
Episode 90, Part 2 Epilogue
A civil servant clad in government uniform was holding a divine spear and soared above the capital. Finally, the spear pierced the dragon’s weakest point—its eye—and continued to destroy its brain.
This feat was accomplished through the activation of three conceptual armaments: Civilian Control – Enlightenment Leviathan – Chaos Gate, Jabberwock – Pen is Mightier than Sword, and Freedom of Speech – Behemoth. Together, these armaments enabled the execution of a powerful original magic: Fafnir’s Missing Scale. It was especially effective against dragon species. The combination was remarkably effective.
The three conceptual armaments that Jez received from Victor demonstrated their versatility by changing functions depending on how they were combined. When Jez had first received and used them during his battle against King Ramses upon his return to the capital, the pens transformed into cannons mounted on his shoulders and the arm guards became gauntlets. They created what the mad alchemist dubbed the Full Armor Bureaucrat Mk-II.
This time, though the basic functions of the uniform remained unchanged, the arm guards were attached to Jez’s legs, allowing for aerial combat. Additionally, the two pens twisted and merged into a single spear. This could be described as the Aerial Combat Bureaucrat Mk-II.
Although the functionality of the uniform didn’t change significantly, its design and color scheme did. The Full Armor Bureaucrat Mk-II was predominantly black, while the Aerial Combat Bureaucrat Mk-II featured a blue-gray design.
Thus, Jez became the 11th Dragon Slayer of the Tashman Kingdom. The dragon began to lose strength in mid-air with its brain pierced. The magic that had kept its massive body aloft started to dissipate, causing it to fall. As the capital erupted in cheers. After confirming that there were no buildings or people below, Jez began to carefully guide the dragon’s body down.
Suddenly, a large-scale magic circle appeared. It connected the locations throughout the capital where the Orc Kings had emerged, with the dragon as its center.

Azargon the demon was mortally wounded by the special ritual magic Kingdom’s Parliament Motion of Punishment, Saint Helena. He laid before Ivan Dragomir, the Speaker of the Kingdom Parliament, and Crown Prince Leo Tashman. Behind them stood King Ramses, visibly exhausted. Before delivering the final blow to the demon, they sought to extract any remaining information.
“Once again, who are you?”
Ivan demanded with his voice filled with authority that echoed through the chamber.
Azargon, lying on the ground, slowly shook his head.
“You’ll understand eventually.”
Realizing that no more information could be gleaned, Ivan glanced at King Ramses. The king, understanding the unspoken message, nodded once and issued the order calmly.
“There is no reason to let him live. Kill him.”
Just as Ivan raised his great sword to strike, a roar of applause erupted from outside. It seemed the dragon had been defeated. The occupants of the chamber joined in the cheer.
“…Heh, well, it can’t be helped.”
The demon muttered quietly. Before Ivan or King Ramses could react to the suspicious comment, Azargon spoke once more.
“Transdimensional Transfer Magic Circle – Odysseia: All Things Exist to Become Books in the End—activate.”
With those words, the demon took his own life. Simultaneously, light emanated from him and spread throughout the capital. The light connected to the locations where the Orc Kings had been defeated, forming a complex and massive magic circle. The magic then activated with the floating dragon as its focal point.

A massive magic circle encompassing the entire capital activated, bathing the city in light. Jez felt a sense of familiarity with the light but couldn’t quite place it.
“Warning: large-scale dimensional shift detected. Evacuate immediately.”
The voice announced from his uniform snapped him back to reality. This was bad—whatever this magic circle was, it likely involved a dangerous form of teleportation. Judging by the ritual, the dragon’s corpse that Jez was supporting seemed to be the focal point. The magic would activate from there, so the dragon needed to be moved away from the capital as quickly as possible.
Making this assessment in an instant, Jez mustered his remaining strength to lift the dragon and began ascending high into the sky. But the weight was immense. At this rate, the capital might still be in danger. Just as Jez began to panic, he felt a supporting presence.
“So, we just need to move this big guy, right?”
With her wings of flame shimmering, René Tashman nodded at Jez’s words.
“Your Highness! This magic is probably a teleportation spell! You need to get away quickly!”
René’s face showed a moment of surprise at Jez’s words, but she quickly steeled herself.
“It doesn’t matter. The priority is to protect the people of the capital… But, well, I don’t want to be alone, so can you hold my hand?”
Jez was momentarily taken aback by René’s words. However, they clasped each other’s hands and lifted the dragon higher into the sky with their free hands.
Finally, the magic activated. The capital city of Nevorista in the Tashman Kingdom was engulfed in light, but there were no casualties. On that day, the demons, dragon, and Orc Kings that had attacked the capital were all defeated, and the damage was kept to a minimum. However, René Tashman and Jez Norman went missing. Despite a search that continued late into the night, they were not found. The only clue was a pen that Erin Saylor discovered at the site of the battle with the dragon.
“…Jez, Your Highness, I will definitely find you.”

Blinded by an overwhelmingly bright light, Jez felt a sensation of floating before losing consciousness. He thought he might have been dreaming.
“…Where am I?”
When he awoke, he found himself in what appeared to be a cave. For a moment, Jez’s thoughts were muddled. But then clarity struck.
“!? Where is Princess René!?”
In a panic, he checked and found René still unconscious, her hand still clasped in his. Jez felt a wave of relief upon confirming her presence.
“This isn’t good.”
Jez murmured. He decided to carry the unconscious René on his back. He followed the airflow. After walking for about ten minutes, he quickly found an exit.
It seemed to be night. Relieved that not much time had passed, Jez stepped out of the cave, only to be greeted by a sign that read:
“Managed by the Dungeon Bureau – Okutama Dungeon, Tokyo.”
“…What?”
