Divine Artifacts.

These are the highest-class artifacts in the world, said to have been left behind by the gods. They are a different category from Conceptual Armaments, although they are often confused because both are frequently found in ancient ruins. Their origins and nature are fundamentally different.

Conceptual Armaments are magical tools created based on specific concepts like strong desires, ideologies, customs, or histories. Nowadays, very few alchemists or magical tool craftsmen can create Conceptual Armaments. But a few famous alchemists did create a certain number of them during the peak of magical tool craftsmanship several hundred years ago.

In terms of danger, Conceptual Armaments can be compared to aircraft carriers, while divine artifacts are akin to nuclear weapons. Both are extremely powerful and difficult to create. Only a few divine artifacts exist across the Azelion continent, including the Tashman Kingdom and the Divina Papal State. Due to their immense impact, they are classified as forbidden. Treaties between countries prohibit their proliferation and use. 

Given that Victor used a divine-class artifact, it’s no surprise that Miriam from the Academy felt disheartened. Could this lead to international issues? It seems that Victor might have even recreated such a divine artifact himself. If an existing divine artifact had been stolen, it would have been a far bigger issue. The absence of such an artifact suggests that Victor either found or created a new one. 

Even if a new divine artifact was found, it may not serve the intended purpose. Considering all this, it’s likely that Victor created something akin to a pseudo-divine artifact. Since treaties do not specifically address pseudo-divine artifacts, Victor’s actions might not lead to an international crisis.
