Any updates?
- Passing Adventurer
Not yet.
- Passing Adventurer
Stop teasing us.
- Passing Adventurer
Hey, did you see the Dungeon Research Channel’s Twitter!?
- Passing Adventurer
You mean X’s?
- Passing Adventurer
No extra comments needed right now, lol.
- Passing Adventurer
Whaaat!?
- Passing Adventurer
Who would’ve thought this would come from the Dungeon Research Channel instead of the official Dungeon Bureau? Lol.
- Passing Adventurer
Totally unexpected development.
- Passing Adventurer
But hey, since the Dungeon Technology Research Institute is under the Dungeon Bureau’s jurisdiction, isn’t it technically official?
- Passing Adventurer
Good point.
- Passing Adventurer
As long as he’s on the move, we have nothing to fear, lol.
- Passing Adventurer
True. The sense of security is unreal.
- Passing Adventurer
Though, in another way, it makes me kinda nervous, lol.
….
- Passing Adventurer
It’s starting!
- Passing Adventurer
Finally, we’ve been waiting!
- Passing Adventurer
Classic messy opening, lol.
- Passing Adventurer
Oh! They’re really guest-starring!
- Passing Adventurer
The Wist couple!
- Passing Adventurer
They look pretty comfortable on camera for some reason.
- Passing Adventurer
They seem used to speaking in front of people.
- Passing Adventurer
And yet, despite their composed appearance, the husband calls his wife “Princess” in private, lol.
- Passing Adventurer
Haha, that’s hilarious.
- Passing Adventurer
Princess!!!
- Passing Adventurer
Huh?
- Passing Adventurer
Wait, what?
- Passing Adventurer
“We came from another world,” lol.
- Passing Adventurer
Wait, is this a joke or for real?
- Passing Adventurer
Another world, lol.
- Passing Adventurer
Seriously!? Are we about to start a “Narou-style” story now?
(Note:”Narou-style” (also known as “Narou-kei” or “なろう系”) refers to a popular writing style seen in web novels published on the Japanese website Shōsetsuka ni Narō (小説家になろう), which translates to “Let’s Become a Novelist.” This platform hosts a vast collection of amateur and professional web novels, and many of them follow certain tropes and narrative styles that have become distinctive of this genre.)
- Passing Adventurer
No, maybe the story already started a while ago, lol.
- Passing Adventurer
Does Kakuyomu count as “Narou-style”?
(Note: This novel is a webnovel published in Kakuyomu)
- Passing Adventurer
Take it to a different board, lol.
- Passing Adventurer
If another world really exists, this would be the biggest event since dungeons started appearing.
- Passing Adventurer
No kidding, this is huge.

Two days after defeating the Red Dragon and Yamata no Orochi in the Shinjuku Dungeon, Jez and René found themselves making their streaming debut through some twist of fate. It had been a whirlwind of events for both of them over the past two days, and they couldn’t help but feel like things had gotten out of hand.
Yesterday, at the Ichigaya Garrison, they met two adventurers (or at least, people claiming to be adventurers). Misaki introduced himself as a researcher from the Dungeon Technology Research Institute and Alpha claimed to be his secretary.
On the side of the Dungeon Research Institute, Misaki and Alpha maintained a friendly demeanor throughout the questioning. Misaki, being a researcher specializing in dungeons, showed great interest in the keyword “another world” and eagerly delved into the details.
The origins of why dungeons suddenly appeared on Earth, or where they came from, remain completely unexplained. Some scholars have proposed theories involving parallel worlds or multiverses, but they have lacked evidence. In such a context, the sudden appearance of two individuals claiming to be from another world was extraordinary. Normally, anyone making such a claim would be dismissed as delusional, but Jez and René were simply too powerful to be ignored.
To gather more information, Misaki used various measuring devices he had brought to assess their magic power and mana composition. The results revealed that Jez and René were using a system of magic that differed from the known structures and applications of magic on Earth. While this alone did not definitively prove their origin from another world, it did confirm that they were not just two exceptionally strong individuals.
Meanwhile, as Misaki and his team conducted interviews and tests, intelligence agencies and the Dungeon Bureau were carrying out thorough background checks on Jez and René. Their investigation uncovered something striking: Jez and René’s histories were so flawless that they seemed artificial. It actually raised suspicions. This was a rare blunder on Victor’s part. Lacking experience in intelligence work and espionage, Victor had created their identities with a “just make everything perfect” attitude. This perfection ended up backfiring.
Moreover, it became evident that Jez and René appeared to have materialized out of nowhere in Tokyo. The Dungeon Bureau was able to trace their movements as far back as the day they boarded the JR Chuo Line near Mount Takao, coinciding with the appearance of the Undead Dragon in the Okutama Dungeon. Before that, however, there were no traces of them at all.
Taking this new information into account, the Dungeon Bureau and Misaki’s team began to believe the duo’s claims of originating from another world to some degree. After all, this world already hosted the incomprehensible phenomenon of dungeons.
With these findings in hand, Japanese authorities began discussing their next steps. Since Jez and René were already known worldwide due to the Yamata no Orochi battle, it was clear that hiding their existence was no longer possible. In fact, the Ichigaya Garrison area was swarmed with intelligence agents from various nations and organizations, while the Japanese government was receiving constant inquiries from foreign governments.
Ultimately, Prime Minister Takajo Shuichi decided to publicly reveal the existence of Jez and René. This decision was also made with the consideration that going public would offer them some level of protection. Jez and René agreed with Japan’s approach. After a series of twists and turns, it was decided that their formal introduction would take place on the official channel of the Dungeon Technology Research Institute.
