When I was working as a civil servant, I was found out to be a muscle-brained knight by the princess knight and got sent to the front lines - Episode 121
Episode 121
Thirty minutes had already passed since the stream began. Following Misaki’s statement that “the Wist couple came from another world,” the attention that was already high had increased even further. The viewership had surpassed 5 million and was continuing to grow. Viewers from all around the world were watching the stream, not just from Japan.
And it made sense. This stream had the potential to lead to a discovery as significant as the first confirmation of dungeons in human history. When dungeons were first discovered, it caused tremendous chaos worldwide due to the presence of monsters and magic.
If the story about another world was true, it could be even more impactful than the discovery of dungeons. This time, it involved “people.”
No one knew how this would turn out, but the interview with Misaki continued.
“I see. So, you two are soldiers from the Tashman Kingdom on the continent of Azelion, and you got caught up in some kind of ritual magic while fighting dragon-type monsters?”
<Could it be that they really came from another world?>
<The story so far hasn’t fallen apart, lol.>
<Still, we can’t completely rule out it being just imagination.>
<Is it like proving the existence of demons?>
<If it exists, it sounds like a war-driven nation, lol.>
The viewers quietly watching René, Jez, and Misaki’s conversation were also keenly examining the content of their story. According to the Wist couple, they were nobles and soldiers from the Tashman Kingdom on the Azelion continent. This kingdom was a frontline state for humanity, surrounded by monster territories on the north, east, and south, and was said to be engaged in constant battles with monsters.
In their world, there are no dungeons; instead, the entire monster territory functions like a dungeon field. On Earth, monsters usually only exist inside dungeons, and they don’t appear on the surface unless a stampede or dungeon break occurs. When such situations do happen, the damage is usually severe and often resulted in the destruction of entire cities.
While it’s dangerous for monsters to roam the surface, it seems that in the Tashman Kingdom, such a state of affairs is normal. Despite this, they maintain the military strength to push back the monsters. Many viewers watching the stream thought, “What kind of hellish country is that?”
However, merely talking about it didn’t convey the sense of another world very well. It felt no different from listening to mere fantasy. The comments continued to show curiosity but also hoped for something clearer.
Sensing this, Misaki decided it was time to act.
“I see. The atmosphere here is quite different from our world. …I have a request for you two from the Tashman Kingdom, who live in a constant state of battle. Would it be alright to ask for a mock battle with me?”
“What is it, Misaki-dono? Why the sudden formality?”
“I apologize for the impolite request, but could you please engage in a mock battle with me?”
To truly understand the opponent, fighting is the quickest way. Seeing Misaki’s expression that seemed to say as much, René smiled warmly.
“Of course. I’ve wanted to have a match with Misaki-dono at least once.”
<Mock battle!>
<Deep-tier vs. otherworldly beings!?>
<Wasn’t there another way to do this, lol?>
<I don’t mind straightforward stuff, lol.>
<Misaki does have a bit of a muscle-head side, doesn’t he, lol?>

To the east of the front-line fortress city of Novalis, in the ancient ruins of uncharted human territory.
The eccentric alchemist had bound and wrapped 12 demon race members he had knocked out. He had a slight headache from the backlash of using the pseudo-artifact Perception / Possibility – Horus’ Eye continuously. Using the pseudo-artifact 12 times in a short period was quite taxing for Victor.Â
However, it was manageable with a bit of rest and was much better than risking a prolonged, messy battle with half-hearted attacks.
What was more concerning was the movements of the angels. It seemed that Victor’s use of the pseudo-artifact had attracted the attention of the angels. Unlike the previous times when he was chased through dimensional worlds, it appeared the angels were not directly intervening here. However, it seemed that overusing artifacts was not advisable.Â
This might be related to some sort of prohibited rule. Even Victor did not know the details about the angels and artifacts. Demons, artifacts, angels, and even other worlds.
Victor, with his eyes shining brightly with curiosity and an eagerness to learn about the many things he didn’t yet know, decided to start with the demons. He first began to wake up the demons who were bound and unconscious, rolling around on the ground.

Two days had already passed since Erin and the others had departed from the eastern frontline fortress city of Novalis. Their formation was specialized for mobility, mainly using cavalry and military wagons, resulting in an extremely fast marching speed.
Commander Raja Raj of the 5th Legion, after receiving Erin’s consultation, decided to deploy himself with two regiments totaling 3,000 troops. He left behind 1,500 men from the 3rd Regiment and 500 support troops in Novalis, taking the remaining 3,000 men from the 1st and 2nd Regiments for a large-scale reconnaissance operation.
According to a letter from King Ramses, the 3rd Princess, René Tashman, was missing. Erin Saylor and Lucretia Alma had come to the eastern frontline specifically for the rescue mission. Additionally, the Saint had reported that an artifact-like object had been activated near uncharted human territories.
There was chaos in the south, a large-scale attack on the capital, and the appearance of demons. Meanwhile, the eastern frontline seemed eerily normal. If there was nothing unusual, it would just be a straightforward reconnaissance, culling of monsters, or a marching exercise. However, Raja judged that falling behind was not acceptable and decided to support Erin’s group while departing from Novalis.
The 5th Legion, with 3,000 men, and Erin’s 208 members were approaching the unaware alchemist.
