When I was working as a civil servant, I was found out to be a muscle-brained knight by the princess knight and got sent to the front lines - Episode 203
Episode 203
An envoy, riding alone, charges directly into an enemy force of ten thousand, drawing their attention. From the skies, a massive alabaster warship provides support with bombardments. Two northern battalions, each consisting of a hundred soldiers, secure a landing point for the assault. Then, a hundred-strong squadron of magical bike riders descends from the air and cuts through the enemy lines with devastating precision.
The Holy Levia Knights, led by Archbishop Lucius Agrippa, number ten thousand in total. In contrast, the 11th Legion has deployed a mere 301 troops up to this point.
Now, the final reinforcements arrive: Lucretia Alma, the Fourth Saint, along with her personal guard of a hundred knights, and a hundred Holy Knights from the Solennis faction, led by Archbishop Edelmar Solennis.
As the Ark Mandjet/Mesektet executes a diving bombardment, Lucretia and Edelmar’s forces jump from the ship nearly in unison. Like the Al-Faz unit, they receive covering fire from the ark while deploying a barrier to shield against ground attacks as they descend.
Before coming to the Kingdom of Tashman, they might have used parachutes, but not now. Lucretia Alma and her guard have been stationed in the Kingdom of Tashman for over three years, and Archbishop Edelmar has been away from the Divina Papal State for more than 20 years.
They’ve trained daily in the royal capital, alongside the 1st and 10th Legions, and have fought together during inspections of the front lines. In essence, although they hail from the Divina Papal State, they have become thoroughly integrated into the ways of the Tashman Kingdom.
Without parachutes, the Saint, the Archbishop, and their Holy Knights freefall toward the ground. As they do, Lucretia unleashes a massive area-wide holy magic spell that enhances the strength of all 200 members of their party, including herself, as they receive God’s blessing.
Lucretia, after jumping from the ark, maintains her momentum and sharpens her form even further, minimizing air resistance.
“…Know the will of God!!!”
She adopts a kicking posture mid-air, extending a pseudo-divine domain barrier from her feet. With all her magical power and kinetic energy, she delivers a devastating flying kick straight into the heart of the enemy camp.
A thunderous explosion erupts as the holy knights are blasted away. Lucretia, thanks to her pseudo-divine barrier, lands effortlessly and unscathed.
Her hundred-strong personal guard begins landing around her one after another. As the dust clears, the Holy Levia Knights finally notice her presence.
Lucretia had left the Divina Papal State when she was only 12, about four years ago. At first glance, the knights didn’t recognize the woman standing before them. But when Alexia Grey, captain of Lucretia’s guard, raised the banner of the Fourth Saint, the significance of the flag was lost on them for a moment. After a brief silence, someone muttered:
“…Sanctus Calamitas.”
(Note: The Saint of Calamity)
The knights who heard this soon turned pale. They glanced at the banner Alexia held and then at the tanned, healthy-looking girl standing in the center. That’s when they realized—the person standing before them was none other than Lucretia Alma, the most infamous and terrifying Saint in history. She had thrown the Papal State into chaos when she was barely 10 years old.
Why was she here? A person who shouldn’t be in this place was standing right in front of them. This alone caused immense tension among the Holy Levia Knights. Wasn’t she exiled and sent to the farthest reaches of the front lines?
Lucretia had been watching their reactions with a serene and graceful demeanor and smiled kindly. Her face was still embodying the compassion typical of a Saint.
“…I understand what you all are thinking. Yes, I committed a sin in this country long ago, and you must be aware of that. …However, my time in the Kingdom of Tashman has changed me.”
She smiled gently and approached the surrounding knights, speaking to them in a calm, comforting tone. The knights, who knew of the Fourth Saint’s dark past, were shocked by the contrast between their expectations and the current Lucretia. How could this girl, exuding overwhelming divine presence, not be a true Saint? Yes, people can change, as the young Saint standing before them had demonstrated.
Some of the knights were moved by her smile and knelt. They began to regret their involvement in the rebellion and were prepared to offer prayers.
“Yes, people can change… like this⭐!”
In an instant, Lucretia’s demeanor shifted dramatically. Leaping into the air, she twisted her body and delivered a powerful kick with all her weight behind it.

Kicks enhanced by her pseudo-divine domain barrier were unleashed one after another from both of her legs, sending holy knights flying as they took the brunt of the attacks. The Saint kicked away those same knights who had just been kneeling in repentance. …Though they hadn’t officially surrendered with a white flag, it was still an unbelievably cruel act.
“Yes, I’ve changed… just like this! ⭐ Hahaha! Hahaha! Hahaha! What’s the matter, old men? Why do you look so shocked?”
Her sudden change in demeanor caught the holy knights completely off guard. They sat dumbfounded on the ground, holding their cheeks where they’d been kicked by the Saint. Ignoring them, Lucretia charged into the next group of knights, her erratic movements sending her targets flying with powerful kicks.
“What’s the matter? Disappointed, aren’t you? That your ‘lovely’ Saint turned out like this! Stop forcing your disgusting fantasies on me, you damn idiots! …Ah, sorry, went a bit too far⭐. Just stay down, old men!”
The Saint rampaged wildly, as if venting all her pent-up frustrations. Considering what she had been through over the past few months, it was hardly surprising. Jez had gone missing, and after all the worry she endured, he returned only to flirt with *that woman* right in front of her. Then, on top of that, her homeland fell into crisis at the exact same time.
For a 16-year-old girl, the events of the past few months had been an overwhelming source of stress. Yet, she had kept up a strong front, refusing to show weakness to those around her. Now, all the frustrations she had been bottling up seemed to explode in this moment of fury.
Watching the scene unfold, Alexia, captain of the hundred-strong guard, sighed and approached Lucretia.
“Lady Lucretia, are you sure about this?”
“It’s fine. They already know about my past sins in this country anyway. What’s the point in pretending anymore? It’s a waste of time.”
Having calmed down somewhat after her rampage, Lucretia spoke nonchalantly. She then casually removed the veil from her head, stuffing it into her pocket. Gathering her long hair into a ponytail, she tossed aside her heavy ceremonial robes, handing them to Alexia. Now unburdened and light on her feet, she declared with a resolute expression:
“Alright then, let’s end this ridiculous battle quickly, shall we?”
Her commanding tone and strong sense of responsibility made her seem every bit the master worthy of protection, Alexia and the rest of the personal guard thought. However, Alexia couldn’t help but feel a bit like a mother, wondering if Lucretia could work on her choice of words just a little bit more.
