When the Possessive Omega Fell for Me (GL , ABO) - Chapter 11
Left behind by Yu Miao, Yi Jing was stunned for two seconds, her mind in a knot. She couldn’t understand why Yu Miao suddenly stopped approaching her, nor could she react to why Yu Miao wouldn’t let her follow.
The intertwined and merged pheromones in the room were still very intense. The crisp sweet scent was identical to when the two were tightly embracing. Yi Jing stood in the depths of the room, and the more she smelled these pheromones, the faster her breathing became. Intimate memories kept flooding her mind.
Can’t wait any longer!
Yi Jing didn’t know what she couldn’t wait for, or why she had to wait, but she just felt very urgent! The entangled pheromones were urging her on at every moment. If she didn’t see Yu Miao in the next second, she would die!
Yi Jing hastily pulled on her clothes, haphazardly throwing them on, grabbed her coat and ran out.
She was really feeling uncomfortable.
She had to see the other person!
Perhaps because they had just been intimate, Yi Jing felt like she could roughly sense the other’s location – finding them would be easy. She had to go find, Huh?
The warehouse corridor wasn’t actually that long. In a clear state of mind, it wouldn’t take Yi Jing long to rush out. When she finally left that area of dense pheromones and was hit in the face by the cool breeze outside the warehouse, her rationality, which had logged off early, finally broke free from the suppression of pheromones and slowly began to work.
What was she going to do again?
Her urgent footsteps slowed down. Yi Jing came to her senses and carefully thought about what had just happened. Suddenly, she felt like she had no right to be angry.
She had been left behind, that’s true but this whole thing was her fault! What was she waiting for after finishing? For the other person to stay and date her?!
What had she done?!
She was supposed to be a clear-headed modern person, but because of the ABO setting, she went crazy. It was absolutely ridiculous. And she didn’t even know who that woman was who had accidentally done it with her once!
She hadn’t even asked for the other person’s name.
If it was Yu Miao…
Yi Jing remembered how the later, darkened Yu Miao was determined to kill all the Yi family members, and she couldn’t help but feel a chill down her spine, feeling like she was going to be in trouble too.
If it wasn’t Yu Miao, then the situation was even more absurd. It would fully demonstrate that in a place like the Yi family, far more than just one or two people would be treated that way. How lawless must it be within the Yi family?
Yi Jing’s heart sank a little.
If things were already that chaotic within the Yi family, what could she do to make amends?
Would she need to be far more resolute than she had initially imagined?
But no matter what, the person from just now was definitely special.
Yi Jing, with a slightly sunken heart, couldn’t help but blush a little as she thought about what had just happened. She carefully touched her lips that had been kissed, and her thoughts inadvertently drifted to some steamy things.
Once she started thinking about these things, Yi Jing, who had been single for over twenty years, couldn’t stop. It took a lot of effort to slam on the brakes and come back to her senses, pulling her rationality back completely.
She needed to be more rational! She hadn’t inexplicably come to this world to join the Yi family!
Yi Jing patted her forehead, forcing herself to muster some energy. Like a wandering soul, distracted and restless, she drifted towards her own residence. Halfway there, she unexpectedly ran into a group of people on a small path near the main house.
The person at the front was clearly surprised to see Yi Jing. He turned his back to his subordinates and waved his hand, then respectfully called out to Yi Jing, “Miss Jing.”
“Hm?” The wandering soul Yi Jing, immersed in the disappointment of not finding Yu Miao, came back to her senses. She listlessly glanced at the group of people and absent-mindedly nodded, “Mm.”
Judging by their uniforms, they looked like the Yi family’s security team. These people usually patrolled the outskirts of the Yi family property, so running into them wasn’t anything unusual.
However…
“Wait a moment, what’s going on with your hand?” A fragment of the scene from earlier suddenly flashed in Yi Jing’s mind. Her disappointed eyes suddenly cleared, and she turned back with a cold face, pointing at the glove of a person standing at the end of the line, closer to the side of the road.
There was a brownish mark on that person’s hand. It wasn’t very clear, but the alertness lingering in her body still made her feel something was off.
“Ah, that,” the person at the front looked back for a moment, paused for a second, then turned back to Yi Jing very calmly, bowing slightly as he answered, “The security guards around the estate have always taken care of some stray cats that pass by. Today, while we were patrolling, we happened to come across a small cat that had accidentally died, so we just buried it.”
“Is that so? A cat?” Yi Jing frowned, glancing at their shoes again. She took a couple of steps forward, not quite believing it. “Where did you encounter it? Where did you bury it? Don’t look at others, you answer.”
Yi Jing pointed at the person standing at the end of the line.
That person was clearly not good with words and hadn’t expected to be singled out. After a moment of hesitation, his gaze inadvertently flicked towards the captain who had initially explained.
Something’s not quite right, Yi Jing frowned, considering how to continue questioning, when suddenly the butler’s voice came from behind her.
In this big Yi family mansion, there were more than a dozen butlers, each responsible for different areas. Apart from the butler she had met at the banquet who always followed the old Yi master, Yi Jing had only met two others. The one who suddenly appeared now was one of the two she was familiar with.
“Miss Jing, so you’re here.” The butler stopped not far in front of Yi Jing. “Mrs. Zhou and the Chairman would like to see you.”
“Auntie?” Yi Jing was taken aback, somewhat surprised.
She had been in this book world for three days now, almost four in a few more hours. She was no longer the person who knew nothing at the beginning. At the very least, she knew her aunt’s surname was Zhou.
But, why did her aunt suddenly want to see her?
The butler didn’t immediately provide an answer, but when Yi Jing wasn’t paying attention, he secretly waved his hand at the patrol team’s captain.
