Writing Love Letters in the Enemy’s Toilet - A Vow of Eternal Love, Even After Rebirth (Transmigration) - Chapter 35 – Advent
In the sky, Helios was attacking the Blue Dragon—but his strikes were wild, reckless, and barely did any damage.
Tia arrived, joining the fight. “What the hell are you doing?!” she shouted.
Helios turned toward her. “Tia… what about Males?”
“He’s tough. That guy won’t die that easily!” she shot back.
“But still…” Helios murmured.
Tia glared at him. “What’s our job?”
“To protect everyone,” Helios answered quietly.
“Then you know what to do! We’re taking that thing down—for Males!” Tia yelled, and charged straight toward the Blue Dragon.
Together, the two began pressing the enemy, their teamwork sharp and precise. Slowly, they drove the Blue Dragon into a corner. But then—it suddenly lost control, firing beams in every direction without aim or restraint.
“At this rate, the damage will spread everywhere… Helios, we’ve got to stop it!” Tia said urgently.
Helios gritted his teeth. “We can’t get close like this! What do we do?”
Just then—
“Sorry to keep you waiting!”
Byakko came soaring toward them.
Tia’s eyes widened. “Males?! You’re alive?”
Helios asked, “Are you okay?!”
A familiar voice came through the headset. “It’s me, it’s me!”
Tia and Helios froze. “Ares?!”
Tia blinked. “Why are you in Byakko?”
Ares replied, “Long story—no time. Let’s finish that thing first!”
“For my brother’s revenge!” Ares shouted.
“For Males!” Helios and Tia echoed together.
At that very moment, their hearts aligned—their will became one.
From Suzaku, Byakko, and Genbu, radiant light burst forth. The beams joined, swirling into a glowing ring that encircled the three machines—then merged them into a single, mighty form.
In an instant, Helios found himself standing beside Tia and Ares, all three within one cockpit.
“Why are you two here?” Helios asked in confusion. Tia snapped, “I should be asking you!”
Ares shouted, “Yeah, what’s going on here?!”
Then voices echoed in their minds— From Suzaku, Byakko, and Genbu came the same message:
“This fusion form is the Phoenix. Command us—and we will strike.”
The three shouted together, “Take it down!”
A massive spiral of flames erupted from the Phoenix, engulfing the Blue Dragon.
The fiery vortex consumed the enemy in one overwhelming blast. When the flames cleared, the Blue Dragon’s systems were dead—it was defeated.
The Phoenix’s light dimmed, and it split back into Suzaku, Byakko, and Genbu once more.
“We did it!” Helios cried. “For you, Males—your revenge is ours!”
The three hurried back to headquarters.
There, they learned that Males had regained his heartbeat—but he was in the ICU, still in critical condition.
Commander Mack met them with a firm tone. “If anything changes, I’ll contact you immediately. For now, all of you—rest. We need you ready for the next attack.”
Reluctantly, the three returned to their rooms.
But none of them could sleep. They lay awake through the long, quiet night—until morning came.
