You Should Have Told Me You Don't Like Sweet Girls - Chapter 21
Chapter 21
“Let’s settle the score for the time you secretly kissed me.”
Shi Xueqian’s struggle instantly ceased. Her amber eyes darted left and right, a hint of shock flashing in them. She avoided Su Yu’s piercing gaze. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Her evasiveness was so cute. Su Yu chuckled softly. “Senior, are you a child? Afraid to admit when you’ve done something naughty?”
“Don’t worry, Senior. I really liked your kiss,” Su Yu used her still-healing finger to hook a few strands of Shi Xueqian’s hair, twirling them around her fingertip. “I deliberately shifted my body that day, and maybe you didn’t notice, but I also intentionally parted my lips a little, hoping you’d kiss me deeper. It’s a shame you didn’t.”
“I even created opportunities for you in the following days, but unfortunately, you didn’t kiss me again.”
“Why did you kiss me in secret, Senior? Explain it to me?” Su Yu gently rubbed her face against Shi Xueqian’s ear, making a single, arousing sound. “Hm?”
The friction of skin against skin brought a tingling sensation. Shi Xueqian slightly turned her head to avoid it, but Su Yu followed her, showing no intention of leaving her ear alone. Strength seemed to slowly drain from Shi Xueqian’s body, which began to soften. She didn’t want to collapse into Su Yu’s arms, so she tried her best to lean back, using the door for support to hold up her uncooperative body. She insisted, “I didn’t. I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Su Yu, let me go.”
Su Yu continued to rub her earlobe. The hand wrapped around Shi Xueqian’s waist began to move slightly. Her tone was unhurried. “How about this? If you admit that you secretly kissed me that day, I’ll let you go. How’s that?”
Even through the fabric, the warmth of Su Yu’s fingertips was perfectly transmitted to Shi Xueqian’s skin. The path her fingers traced felt like it had been licked by fire—both itchy and hot. Shi Xueqian felt like the last bit of strength was about to be pulled from her body. She surrendered. “Fine, I secretly kissed you. Now let me go.”
“Your answer was too slow, Senior. That question doesn’t count anymore.”
“You bastard.” Shi Xueqian gritted those two words through her teeth, her eyes reddened at the corners as she glared fiercely at Su Yu.
Even when she was trying to be fierce, she was adorable. Su Yu held her even tighter. “New question. You have to answer quickly this time, Senior.”
“Oh?” Su Yu looked at Shi Xueqian with a curious smile, her hand on Shi Xueqian’s waist mischievously pressing down lightly. “I haven’t even done anything yet. Why do I feel like you’re about to melt into a puddle?”
“Where are your sensitive spots, Senior? Your ears? Your waist? Or both?”
“Ugh—” Shi Xueqian moaned, flatly denying it. “Neither.”
In truth, she didn’t know where her sensitive spots were, and she still didn’t know now. Everywhere Su Yu touched was turning hot and soft. She didn’t know if it was because of her body itself or because the person touching her was Su Yu.
“Is that so?” Su Yu said with a sense of leisure. “In that case, I’ll just have to find the answer myself.”
“No—”
The last syllable turned into a different pitch. Su Yu opened her mouth and took Shi Xueqian’s earlobe between her teeth, gently grinding. Shi Xueqian gasped, suddenly throwing her head back, her neck arching into a beautiful curve. Her body began to tremble slightly. Whether her ears were sensitive or not, the result was clear.
“Senior, should I try your waist next? How should I do it?” Su Yu said, as if genuinely troubled. “A little pinch? A little tickle? Or should I bite it, too?”
“Don’t,” she had only a sliver of strength left. If Su Yu tried any more tricks, she really wouldn’t be able to stand. “It’s sensitive. It’s sensitive. Now let me go.” She tried to push Su Yu, but the latter didn’t budge.
“Nope. That question became invalid the moment you said it wasn’t sensitive.”
“Su Yu, you really are a bastard!”
Perhaps only Shi Xueqian herself believed she was speaking with a vicious and threatening tone. But to Su Yu, it sounded like a kitten meowing a few times. Not only was it not intimidating, but it made her even more delighted. It was absolutely adorable.
“Yes, yes~ I’m a bastard.”
“I’m going to ask you one more question, Senior. You have to answer honestly,” Su Yu rubbed the tip of her nose against Shi Xueqian’s earlobe. “I’ll know if you lie.”
“Why do you want me to let you go?”
“That’s a stupid question,” Shi Xueqian said in a cold tone, trying her best to glare. “Would you like to be held like this by someone you hate?”
She felt like all the bones in her body were turning to jelly and her sanity was about to completely melt away. Only the last thread was desperately holding on. The flush on her cheeks deepened, and her eyes, wet and beautiful, became even more alluring.
Su Yu’s throat moved. Her gaze was locked on Shi Xueqian’s face. She slightly curved her lips. “Is that so?”
Shi Xueqian glared at Su Yu, as if to prove the truth of her words, and ground her teeth as she emphasized, “Su Yu, I hate you to death.”
“But your body seems to really like me, Senior. As soon as I touch it like this,” Su Yu said, gently pinching the side of her waist with one hand. The body in her arms trembled slightly. “You look like you’re about to turn into a puddle.”
“If I let you go now, will you just melt away into a puddle?”
“I’m so worried.”
“Su Yu, if you don’t let go, I’m going to get angry. I’m really going to get angry.”
Her cheeks were flushed, and she looked like she was about to explode, but more than that, she looked adorable. Su Yu leaned into her ear. “Senior, when you talk like this now, you have no deterrent power at all. It just makes me want to bully you more.” Her lips slowly brushed against Shi Xueqian’s earlobe.
“Besides, didn’t you break the rules first?”
Shi Xueqian trembled all over. Before she could react, she suddenly felt her body lose its footing. Su Yu held her by the hips with one hand and her injured hand on Shi Xueqian’s back, lifting her up so they were face to face. Shi Xueqian subconsciously wrapped her arms around Su Yu’s neck.
In truth, Su Yu lifted her because she saw that Shi Xueqian had no strength left and was about to melt into a puddle. She wanted to carry her to the desk so she could interrogate her more easily.
She walked to the desk but didn’t immediately place her down. She continued to hold the person in her arms with one hand. “Senior, if I had known that picking you up would make you so proactive, I would have done it sooner. Now I don’t want to put you down. What should I do?”
In response, Shi Xueqian bit her neck. She wasn’t being proactive; she was being scared. The good news was that the shock made her a little more lucid and brought back some of her sanity, but her arms and legs had completely lost their strength. If Su Yu were to put her down now, she definitely wouldn’t be able to stand.
Su Yu groaned, suddenly holding her tighter. Her eyes deepened, and her voice became slightly hoarse. “Senior, do you know what our actions look like right now?” She answered her own question. “Flirting.”
“Put me down,” Shi Xueqian ground her teeth. “Or I won’t show you any mercy this time.”
“Does that mean you were afraid of hurting me and didn’t bite too hard just now?” Su Yu rubbed her cheek affectionately against Shi Xueqian’s neck. “What am I going to do, Senior? The way you say that, I really don’t want to put you down.”
Shi Xueqian: “…”
Su Yu: “How about this? If you honestly answer my next question, I promise I will put you down on the desk safely and steadily, okay?”
At this moment, Shi Xueqian’s body was very hot, but for some reason, she still felt very warm in Su Yu’s arms. A thought even flashed through her mind—the desire to stay draped over Su Yu like this forever. She shook her head, but she forgot that she was pressed tightly against Su Yu. This small movement of her head was like gently rubbing Su Yu’s neck.
Su Yu: “Are you trying to be cute now, Senior? It’s no use. You still have to answer the question.”
Shi Xueqian: “…How long are we going to play this ‘you ask, I answer’ game? Aren’t you tired of it?”
“I will never get tired of playing anything with you, no matter how long we play,” Su Yu’s voice held a faint smile. “How could I get tired when your reactions are so cute?”
Shi Xueqian realized, or rather, she had known for a long time but had been subconsciously ignoring it, that her body had always craved Su Yu. Su Yu was the kind of person who was resistant to both soft and hard tactics. If you came at her hard, she could be harder. If you came at her with softness, she would take it all in and then take an inch for every mile. In short, Su Yu would never give up until she got what she wanted.
She could only go along with her. “Ask.”
Su Yu: “Senior, do you like me?”
“In this situation, if I say yes, would you even believe it?”
“Yes, I would. I’d believe anything you said, Senior. But whether I believe it or not won’t affect my decision.” Su Yu said candidly.
“I don’t like you.”
As soon as she said the words, Shi Xueqian felt herself being lowered. She was indeed placed safely and steadily on the desktop. While she was draped over Su Yu, her sensitive spots hadn’t been toyed with, and she had slowly regained some strength. She could get up and stand on her own right now.
The problem was that Su Yu didn’t move away after putting her down. Instead, she leaned in, trapping her in place. She pouted slightly. “How sad. What you said is true.”
Hearing that, Shi Xueqian’s heart inexplicably skipped a beat. Was what she said true? Even though the words came out of her mouth, the fact was, she didn’t know herself.
“In that case, you can take your things and leave now.”
“How sad. Senior is trying to get rid of me now.” Su Yu blinked twice, looking very pitiful.
A trace of softness rose in Shi Xueqian’s heart. It proved that acting pitiful with this appearance was far more effective than acting pitiful in her sweet girl guise. She looked away. “You said you were only coming to get your things and not to come in. I’m already being very generous by only asking you to leave now.”
“Oh?” Su Yu was instantly interested, her gloom disappearing. “Then why are you being so generous to me, Senior?”
She really did brighten up at the smallest encouragement. Shi Xueqian didn’t want to bicker with her and once again asked her to leave. “Hurry up and get your things.”
“Mhm,” Su Yu obediently nodded. “I was just about to.”
“Mhm.” Shi Xueqian made a move to get up, but Su Yu showed no intention of moving away. “Aren’t you going to get your things?”
“I am.”
She said so, but her body didn’t move. Her gaze was locked on Shi Xueqian’s face. Specifically, on her lips.
Shi Xueqian didn’t understand. “Then why don’t you get up?”
Not only did Su Yu not get up, she leaned in closer, her gaze on Shi Xueqian’s lips becoming more explicit. “Don’t you know what I’m here to take?”
“I don’t…” Before she could finish, Shi Xueqian belatedly realized something. Her gaze slowly fell to Su Yu’s lips, which were moist, full, and beautifully shaped. Shi Xueqian knew what they tasted like. They were like a delicious, tempting, peach-flavored jelly—soft and comfortable to kiss.
Su Yu slowly moved closer, her eyes fixed on her. “Senior, do you know now? Judging by your expression, you do.”
“I don’t.” Shi Xueqian moved her body back.
“That’s not good, Senior,” Su Yu had a smile on her lips. “When a thief takes something, shouldn’t the owner get it back?”
“I didn’t steal anything from you.”
“Didn’t you?” Su Yu’s eyes narrowed slightly. The hand that was propped on the desk slowly moved and covered the back of Shi Xueqian’s hand. Her pinky finger playfully hooked around Shi Xueqian’s pinky. “But you just admitted to it.”
“You admitted that you secretly kissed me that day.”
“You forced me to,” Shi Xueqian retorted. “I never kissed you.”
Su Yu’s bandaged hand came up and slowly landed on Shi Xueqian’s lips. Her fingertips lingered around her mouth. She still had a helpless smile on her face. “Why is your mouth so stubborn, Senior? Last time you kissed me, I remember it was very soft.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. You were asleep. Maybe you were dreaming.” The friction of skin against skin brought a tingling sensation. Shi Xueqian tried to turn her head away, but her intention was seen through, and Su Yu grabbed her chin.
“Dreaming? But I was awake the whole time that day. I wanted to stay close to you, and I was afraid you’d kick me out, so I pretended to be asleep from the very beginning,” Su Yu said, emphasizing each word.
Her pinky was still hooked around Shi Xueqian’s.
“You must be mistaken. I hate you so much, why would I kiss you?” Shi Xueqian tried to pull her finger free. When that failed, she gave up the struggle and tried to reason with her. “It doesn’t make sense.”
“It really doesn’t make sense.” Su Yu nodded in agreement. “Why do people always do such illogical things? Like tutoring a person you hate in German, or setting up a special study space in your own study room for a person you hate, even specifically asking the librarian to add a chair. And even after the person you hate has been gone for days, the chair they sat in is still there.”
“I also think it’s very strange. Doing it once is one thing, but why would someone continuously do so many illogical things?” Su Yu stared into Shi Xueqian’s eyes, her eyes curving. She said word by word, “Senior, you’d know, right?”
Shi Xueqian put on a disgusted expression. “You’re still so narcissistic. How do you know I didn’t keep the chair to make it convenient for other students who come to my study room?”
“I’ve seen so many different expressions on you today, so cute. I like you even more now. As for how I know…” Su Yu deliberately drew out her words, looking into the distance as if she were thinking hard. Just as Shi Xueqian thought she had nothing to say, Su Yu suddenly looked down and smiled at her.
“Of course, it’s because I’ve been secretly watching you every day, Senior. I saw you, with a cold face, mercilessly rejecting the requests of several younger students to enter your study room.”
“Those younger students were begging you, shaking your arm, but you didn’t give in, Senior. You really are so ruthless.”
She was subtly emphasizing her own specialness. Su Yu even mimicked Shi Xueqian’s expression when she had rejected them. Shi Xueqian choked and turned her head. Her porcelain-white earlobes were so red they looked like they were about to bleed. She changed the subject. “I don’t want to argue about this with you. Get out of my study room right now.”
Su Yu let out a theatrical sigh. “I want to leave, too, but a little thief stole something from me and won’t give it back. Not only that, but her mouth is so, so stubborn. She won’t admit to it at all.”
“She probably doesn’t know how, how important that thing is to me. I’ve been thinking about it day and night, unable to sleep. Now that I’ve finally found it, I have to do whatever I can to get it back.”
“Senior, will you help me convince the person who stole my thing to be nice and give it back to me?”
The thief herself, Shi Xueqian: “…”
Su Yu used her injured hand to support Shi Xueqian’s back. “Senior, tell her that if she doesn’t give it back to me, I’ll have to take it by force.”
It was a playful tone, but Shi Xueqian knew she wasn’t joking. A silent standoff. The air was so quiet that it seemed like you could even hear the faint scratching of a student’s pen outside.
After what felt like a long time, Shi Xueqian said calmly, “Then come and take it.”
